This is the best dealership experience that i've had in a very long time. They are honest people. I bought two sonatas from them in the past 4 months, a 2011 hybrid sonata in may and a 2012 sonata se in augu very long time. They are honest people. The best car buying experience I have ever had. Everyone that I talked to couldn't have been more accomodating. No negotiating or hassells - their original quote was the best price I could find. They had to do a pretty intensive search to find the color car I wanted which had to be transported from Oregon to Elgin. They absorbed the cost of trucking the car to the dealership with no add ons to me. Everything they said they would do, they did. They kept me up to date tracking the delivery time of the car. They made contract signing as pleasant as it could be and took all the time I needed to go over the operation of the car before I drove off. The salesman followed up with a phone call the next day to make sure we had no problems on the way home and wanted to answer any questions I might have had after driving the car. He gave me his cell phone and said that I should call him any time I might have a question. I highly recommend Elgin Hyundai in general and Joshua Hastings in particular. More

My transmission in my old used car went out and I was in desperate need of a new car. I visited Rosen Hyundai in Algonquin and immediately fell in love with the new Veloster. The salesman there were not customer service oriented and told me I would have to wait for 48 hours to 8 weeks to recieve the color and style I wanted and then negotiate some sort of deal. That was not acceptable to me so I called around to some other Hyundai dealerships in the area to find the car I wanted. In the end, Elgin Hyundai, with the work of Joshua Hastings, had my car on the lot that day and I was able to drive off that evening. Customer service was great! More
These guys were great! My wife and I were greeted by several salesmen who were very friendly and willing to help us find the vehicle we wanted. Not only did we quickly find the car we wanted but we also several salesmen who were very friendly and willing to help us find the vehicle we wanted. Not only did we quickly find the car we wanted but we also got a fantastic deal on the car's price. My wife actually enjoyed buying a car from this place and she decided that she wanted to get a new car from here also...we bought not only a 2012 Sonata Limited 2.0T but also a 2012 Tucsan Limited. The customer service impact from this dealership really is paramount for these guys and they do a fantastic job. I have and will continue to recommend this dealership to everyone I know. They have taken better care of me and my family than any other dealership that I have ever bought a car from. Keep up the great work! More
This dealership is excellent. The staff is great, especially Dave. They are knowledgable about their vehicles, and very willing to great you home happy. Dave Taud went way out of his why do everything that I wanted. JC the General Manager also was so friendly and helpful when needed. We brought in our vehicle to have the weather strips replaced on all four doors under warranty as it was loose and falling. This was the 2nd time the vehicle was being brought to the dealership for the replaced on all four doors under warranty as it was loose and falling. This was the 2nd time the vehicle was being brought to the dealership for the same problem. My husband was called and advised we needed a brake job like "yesterday". We advised them not to complete the brake job because the brakes were replaced a little over 12 months ago at Firestone. We took the vehicle back to Firestone for a brake inspection and were advised the brakes are in good condition and recommended to have the brakes reinspected in 6 months. I don't know why the dealership removed the wheels to do a brake inspection when the vehicle was in for warranty work on the doors and we weren't having any problems or noises with the brakes. When I spoke with management at the dealership I expressed my concern about them not offering a 2nd opinion about the brakes when there was a major discrepancy. I was advised they don't feel they need a 2nd opinion because their mechanics have a lot of training and know what they're doing. I think this is a terrible dealership policy. I was very unhappy with the service AND customer service at this dealership and filed a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General AND Hyundai Consumer Affairs. I would NOT recommend bringing your vehicle to the service department at this dealership even if it's for warranty work. All of the above information is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I came for service on my 2005 Elantra and left trading in the Elantra and buying a 2012 Elantra Touring. Dave was a great dealer, no pressure sale. I went to the dealership cause they had the Elantra instock. Dave called me before I got there. Worked a great deal for me and my family and allowed us to stay within our budget.
