I own a Mach1 which it appears most Ford dealers don't understand how to do an oil change. Elder ford has done the last two. After the last one I had an oil leak which I thought either the oil filter or p understand how to do an oil change. Elder ford has done the last two. After the last one I had an oil leak which I thought either the oil filter or plug was not put back correctly. After 21/2 hours I was told the caskets had to be replaced. Keep in mind the car only has about 4000 miles. I asked why didn't you replace the caskets you had the car for 21/2 hours. I was given 3 stores they didn't have the part which they did, they don't do that work here only across the street than I was told they could and call when i want it done. I went across the street and spoke with the service manger he was great took the car and found it was just the plug. Service manager and tech who worked on the car 5 stars. The others I give them high marks for effort but they need to be much better at finding the problem More
Called multiple times in the span of 15 days, got told I’d be called back later in the day by a manager and never get a call, absolutely no updates on my vehicle. I’d be called back later in the day by a manager and never get a call, absolutely no updates on my vehicle. More
I have an F-150 Lariat, it developed a problem on a road trip in Ga. at around 8550 miles. stopped in at "Cunningham Ford in Knoxville TN. Their technician test-drove it and noted the problem, he said he b trip in Ga. at around 8550 miles. stopped in at "Cunningham Ford in Knoxville TN. Their technician test-drove it and noted the problem, he said he believed it to be in the transmission. Unfortunately, their transmission person was out for several days. they felt the truck was drivable and to just take it slow coming back to Tampa. I made an appointment w/Mr. Trasplacios (JT) to bring it in for evaluation. When I picked up the truck (3 days later) JT advised that your reader indicated nothing, but he advised the truck computer was updated. JT said to drive it and if the problem persists to bring it back. When driving home from the dealer, I knew the problem was not fixed. I ran thru a tank of gas to be sure the problem was still happening, it was, so I made a 2nd appointment. This time a technician rode with me, then drove the truck himself to experience what I was talking about. He acknowledged feeling/hearing the problem and advised JT the same when we returned to the dealership. The truck was taken in for repair for a second time. (9 days later) JT left msg to come get the truck. When I arrived, I was advised truck was not repaired because the "problem could not be duplicated on the PID" That is all he could tell me and he told me the same several times before I asked to speak with the manager. The mgr came along with the technician who rode/drove with me for the road test. We spoke and he seemed to fully embrace the idea that the "problem could not be duplicated on the PID so it could not or would not be addressed. "no dup on reader, no can fix" It took the Service Dept 11 days to figure that out. I asked now what? What do I do next? I can't remember what anyone said but the vibe I got was that whatever I do, please do it somewhere else, I may be mistaken on that but... I my reaching out to FoMoCo for help in this matter. And reviewing the criteria under the Florida/Ford Lemmon Laws Thank you for the opportunity to vent. I wish you a Merry Christmas, Peace be with you and yours. Sincerely, Bruce Sizemore--->out More
