El Dorado Chevrolet - Service Center

Just took my 03 Vette in for it's annual oil and filter change as well as the annual inspection. I've just realized it did not pass the inspection (catalyst and evaporation systems). Thinking back I now realize how slick Robert was: he never handed me the paperwork, this went directly to the cashier. We stood together for about 3-4 minutes and there was no discussion about failing the test. 4th year in a row here and I would have expected more than Robert's sly move. Very deceiving. First time I have experienced this. Needless to say, I've put a hold on the credit card. I await Robert's return call today. More

I was parked in the service garage entrance waiting for my husband pay for his service. We arrived at 6:50pm. At 7:03 the lights in the garage turned off and it was pitch black. (We also had our twin 4 year olds with us and they were scared) He said they were halogen lights and could not turn back on. I asked him why would he turn the lights off if he saw customers were still in here. He told me that they were closed and it was time for him to go. He was very rude and demanding. I told him we were paying customers and it didn’t make sense. He then sarcastically said he would hold a flashlight so I could back up. My husband then came out after paying. I started to tell him what was going on and we quickly decided it was best to leave. I am not one to write bad reviews but what we experienced tonight was uncalled for, uninviting, and rude. I do not recommend El Dorado Service Department for anything. More

My service was terrible. My car was scratched during service. I was told it was already there with no proof! The heavy lady at the checkout counter in service was very rude. I asked for the price before we hung up and was told $60 as they were running a special. When I arrived the service advisor handed me paperwork to sign to get started (shame on me for not reading it). I told him I would wait on my car and after an hour and fifteen minutes I asked for a status on when my car would be complete. He said they were in the middle of the 30,000 mile warranty and it would be another hour and a half. This floored me as I never asked for that service, my car was shy of 30,000 miles. I asked what that was going to cost me and he said $550 and that he and I discussed it on our phone conversation. There is no way I would have agreed to this one month before Christmas. I work from home and could have booked it after the new year. I had him stop that work on my car immediately and was told I had to pay $230 in order to get my car back. It seems they do this a lot as I called to worn a friend that purchased a vehicle from them and she told me they did it to her back in April and wanted her to pay $750, but agreed to take $250. Please read your paperwork before signing for service. I will be finding another dealership to take my car to in the future. More

Unsatisfied customer this van was leaking in the rear before I purchased it service department said they fixed this before I drove off the car lot. Now the vans been up in that service department for the 3rd time and still not fixed. this dealership is ridiculous. More

Warranty work In 2017 I purchased a work van brand new, it had some issues leaking water, seatbelt was not working and engine ran rough. I had it in for over a week last year to get these issues fixed but this dealership could not get to it they could not even get the tires rotated. So I went and started giving bad reviews and the owner contacted me and set another appointment to get stuff fixed. But when I showed up there was another young guy that got very amotional and turned me away. Why would that go to the effort to do the right thing. More
