This is a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad dealership. Seriously, it is. I was buying a 2022 Bolt EUV and we had agreed on everything and were just waiting until the vehicle came in. The day finally came and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad salesman called to say "Come pick it up." Well, the price was suddenly $2500 above MSRP because of a "Market Adjustment" That I had never been told about. The terrible, horrible, no good, very bad salesman said that it was standard right now and he is wrong. He said that there was nothing he could do about it because Stan "Greedier that Gordon Gekko" Graff required it. I wasn't going to pay the extra money but I wold have at least like to have been told ahead of time. I was going to sell my current car to another dealership and then I would have been stuck. In case you are wondering not every dealership is doing this. I drove 38 miles to Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine where owner Tom Durant does not mark up his vehicles in a deceptive manner. If you are tempted to buy a car at El Dorado Chevrolet turn around and drive the 38 miles from McKinney to Grapevine and buy from Eric at Classic Chevrolet and avoid the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad salesman that I had to deal with. I purchased a pre-owned vehicle in 2021 from El Dorado and it was the worst decision I've ever made. Problems started as soon as I signed the contract. There was a minor mechanical issue with the vehicle and it was the worst decision I've ever made. Problems started as soon as I signed the contract. There was a minor mechanical issue with the vehicle and before the purchase I told them if they did the repair, I would purchase the vehicle. The arrangements were made with their shop to take it in but they said they didn't have the part and would order it. I purchased the vehicle and waited for the part to come in but never got a call from the dealership. The saleman never answered my called or returned my messages. Eventually I talked to the pre-owned sales manager and arranged to have my vehicle put in the shop. The shop said they couldn't do the repair and would have to go to Ford for the repair. Once at Ford they worked diligently to get my vehicle scheduled and in for the service. After the repair was done completed I received a call from the Ford service writer that El Dorado refused to pay for the repair after originally agreeing to. After several attempts to contact someone at El Dorado I sent an email to the Pre-owned Manager who said that I would need to put it under a warranty repair and pay the $250 deductible out of my pocket, which was not part of the agreement. After picking up the vehicle I emailed the Sales manager who was unaware of the agreement and reimbursed $200 of the deductible. I never received one word of apology from anyone, not even a thank you. Even not they never answer their phones. I've purchased many vehicles from dealerships in the area but this one is the worst I've ever dealt with. NEVER PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. More

Service department is a joke. Made an appointment one week out on line and indicated that I would wait to have my car looked at. When I got there I told Ty that I was there for my 7:15 am appointment. He said that we are running 3 to 4 days behind. I said that I have an appointment for 7:15 am and he said well the computer doesn’t know how far behind we are. I ask what the reason for making an appointment and he replied that the appointment time was with him to discuss what was wrong with my car. What a joke this place is. I have been negotiating with one of their salesman on a new truck but after my dismal service experience I wouldn’t go near this place. My experience was that it is by a bunch of grumpy people that desperately need a lesson in customer service and I will not go back. More
Just took my 03 Vette in for it's annual oil and filter change as well as the annual inspection. I've just realized it did not pass the inspection (catalyst and evaporation systems). Thinking back I now realize how slick Robert was: he never handed me the paperwork, this went directly to the cashier. We stood together for about 3-4 minutes and there was no discussion about failing the test. 4th year in a row here and I would have expected more than Robert's sly move. Very deceiving. First time I have experienced this. Needless to say, I've put a hold on the credit card. I await Robert's return call today. More
This wasn't just the worst service I've had at a Chevrolet service department: It's the worst service I've ever had at any service department ever in my 40+ years of car ownership across any state I Chevrolet service department: It's the worst service I've ever had at any service department ever in my 40+ years of car ownership across any state I've lived (Texas, Colorado and Georgia). They kept my mint condition 2011 Corvette with 19,000 miles for 10 days to perform an oil change and a power convertible top adjustment. They would never call me back or even text me with a status during that time. On the 10th day my wife called 5 times to let them know we were fed up and were on our way to pick up the car. 3 of the times the receptionist transferred her to the service manager's voice mail. The 4th time she got someone named Robert who said he would try to find the service manager to call us back. The 5th time she called she was transferred to the service manger, the same "Robert" who said they were waiting to hear back from our warranty company but the car was ready for pickup. Of course they couldn't fix an issue with the rearview mirror or an issue with the console storage storage compartment because they didn't have the parts. I really didn't care about whether it was covered by warranty as they weren't able to perform the majority of the service and the bill for the oil change and adjustments were less than $300. When I picked up the car they didn't have the bill ready so I had to wait exactly 35 minutes for them to put this together. When I finally got my car I didn't even recognize it. It wasn't just dirty, it had a layer of brown crap all over it like someone had taken a bucket of mud and thrown it over it. It was so bad I was embarrassed to drive it home. When I complained I was given a coupon for a free automated car wash at....wait for it.......El Dorado Auto Spa. These people are a horrible joke, unprofessional and tragically inept. Also whatever they did to adjust the power top didn’t work. The boot is still making contact with the support bar so I’m going to have to take it to a professional to have it corrected. When I returned to the service department to ask for a refund I was told that even though they didn't fix the problem with the power top they did put in an effort so they refused the refund. They did offer to keep the car to try again to fix it but I refused. I would never go back to this dealership. More

I’m not mad they are doing over MSRP, but I am mad that they were not upfront and honest about it. We talked about the price of the truck several times during the test drive.
