The main reason for going to Honda of El Cerrito was that it was the dealership where we purchased our 2005 Pilot. Over the years we have come to appreciate the level of service and the convenience, both of it was the dealership where we purchased our 2005 Pilot. Although it might be less expensive to go to an independent service facility, we feel that our warranty might not be protected nor would we have the assurance that the work would be performed up to Honda specifications. Our recent experience for a minor service was notable because the service advisor was new to the dealership but he relayed to us that he had previous experience as a service technician. He also honored our Honda Monthly Service Rewards discount even though we did not have our Rewards Card with us. More
Customer service was great. I dropped off my car was able to explain what i needed : general checkup/servicing, and get on my way - was shuttled to work without waiting long (less than 10 minutes) and since to explain what i needed : general checkup/servicing, and get on my way - was shuttled to work without waiting long (less than 10 minutes) and since i didn't know when i was going to get off work - i called and the shuttle came to pick me up. Everyone was professional and friendly. On the con side i think dealerships in general charge more for things but the lady i was talking to later said they have a price match - so if i find someone willing to service my car for less (i need the timing belt replaced) they will match it. will see...overall good experience. Honda of El Cerrito has by far the best service department. They can always give me an appointment at a time that I want, even if it is the same day. This last visit I brought both of our cars, one for a quick oil change and one to have the recalled sun visor replaced. They had both cars completed in a little over 30 minutes and it did not cost a thing. To top it off they ran both cars through the car wash! I have been coming to this service department since I purchased my Honda there in 2006. I have tried to use service departments closer to where I live, but have found the service I receive there is worth the extra 15 - 20 minutes of drive time. Highly recommend!! More
I have been a customer of Honda of EC for more than twenty years and a year ago purchased a van for my employer, the San Francisco Bar Pilots. The sales experience, both when I purchased my CRV in 1999 and the van last year (John Chan), was significantly more pleasant than that at other dealerships (. Although our pilot station is in San Francisco, except for one recent emergency repair, our employees have found it worth the trip to have all service completed in EC. I have consistently had my personal repair work done there exclusively and would recommend the shop and Paul Forte to anyone. More
Ron was very helpful in helping me order the parts that I needed for an addition to my car. He scheduled my appointment, called to let me know that the parts were in and also was good about letting me know needed for an addition to my car. I like getting my car serviced at this location because they know how to treat their customers right. I live in Vallejo but I bought my car here. I was agonizing over my having to purchase my leased 2006 Honda Accord, because I was over my mileage. Then I met Virginia Trumbull and Patrick Luis. They assuaged my fears and after crunching the numbers with Scott Bisbee and extending a 500$ loyal customer incentive, all three of them showed me how I could, with an affordable down payment, lease a brand new vehicle for not much more than my payment would have been, had I purchased my five year old car. Wow - where to start. We had an amazing experience with the guys and gals at Honda El Cerrito. We have just purchased a gorgeous little Fit Sport - this is actually the second car we've bought from here. the guys and gals at Honda El Cerrito. We have just purchased a gorgeous little Fit Sport - this is actually the second car we've bought from here. Both times we've gone in intending only to look, and both times we have left with new car. This is not to say the sales staff are overly pushy - far from it, actually... but its more to do with how accommodating and willing to go the extra yard every one there is. Being new to the country, our credit rating isnt great - but not only did we get a great deal on the car, but we also got awesome finance conditions - far better then what other dealerships had offered. Honestly, I couldn't recommend these guys enough - Talk to Mohammed or Sylvia, and Pauline in the Finance Department, they will look after you as well as they looked after us... Also have to tip my hat to the Service guys - we had to get a few odds and bobs installed, and it was done quickly and efficiently - and there was even a shuttle to drop us home and pick us up when the car was ready. Definitely a 10/10 experience all round... :) Jakey More
I had a 9:30am appointment. There was a long line of cars waiting - Mel let me know he would be with me shortly.
