Over the top customer service I recently made a visit to Honda of El Cerrito where I was helped by Janice Ramirez. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and taken care of with no wait time at all. She answered all my questions and addressed every concern that I had. I felt as if she cared more about me versus making a sale and that made me feel good. Janice did an excellent job at helping me through the whole process. I left that day with my 2015 Honda Pilot feeling great about my purchase because it was exactly what I was looking for and also I was not just pushed into a sale. I will definitely be back for the next car I purchase. More

It felt like buying a car from a close friend who had expertise in just what I wanted. When we first met, I told her I had a Mazda test drive scheduled after the HRV test drive, and she was very encouraging about testing out what I liked - no pressure. Her enthusiasm about the HRV and her willingness to get me all the information I needed to make a smart decision were the only form of “selling" she used - confidence without pushiness. Truly classy. When the car arrived and the deal was done, she gave me a great big hug and wished me and my fiancee a wonderful wedding next month. Ive been in the market for quite sometime but i also was not in a rush because I still had my old 1999 Honda Civic which by the way still runs great. The sales lady who helped me made this car buying experince easy. She is very friendly and i felt no pressure at all. I was greeted with a smile by Janice/Janne (Sales Rep). She walked through the lot and showed me what they had. Gave me enough info and showed me the latest civic they had. I did a test drive and loved it. Very impressive!! I'll be back here in a few months for my sons car and I'm definitely going back to Janne. If any of you are in the market GO see Janne. Trust my words, you will not be disappointed. A++ More

Good in the past, recently gone downhill I've been coming to Honda of El Cerrito for over six years to buy parts and get service done on my car but recently their commitment to quality and cu I've been coming to Honda of El Cerrito for over six years to buy parts and get service done on my car but recently their commitment to quality and customer service has completely fallen off a cliff. In the past six months I've had three incidents at the service center and parts department that have really made me question whats going on at Honda of El Cerrito. Last August before a road trip down south I brought my car in for a scheduled oil change, tire rotation, and multi point inspection as part of the 6 pack that I prepaid for. The next day on our road trip my car kept stalling on the local roads and in traffic on the freeway. This was extremely dangerous for me and my family so I had to get the car looked at at a local mechanic. They found that a hose was knocked loose during the oil change. I came back to talk to the service manager after the trip and he gave a brief apology and said I could get a free carwash if I wanted. In October I ordered a part for my trunk that I was told would come by the next day. I came back the next day, and then the next week but the part was continually delayed. I wanted to cancel my order for the item but was told I would be charged a 20% restocking fee for a part that had not even arrived yet. After a lengthy discussion finally they agreed to drop the restocking fee. Two weeks ago I ordered two simple bolts for my rear brakes. I had taken the day off this week to install them and given the problems I had with my last order I figured two weeks would be more than enough time to get the parts. When I went to pick up the parts one of the bags was empty! The bolt had fallen out somewhere and they couldn't find it. I needed the parts that day so I went to another location that luckily had them in stock and bought them. When I came back the next day to return the one bolt I received and the other that I never received I was told there would be a restocking fee again. This time they would not budge even though it was only a couple of dollars. Essentially Honda of El Cerrito is willing to lose a customer over a couple dollars even if it was their mistake in the first place. This is extremely concerning and basically proved to me that this dealership no longer that customer focus that I enjoyed in the past. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and no longer recommending them to friends and family. More

So i received an email from Jason R. saying that they would like to make an offer to buy my vehicle which i purchased last year. I bought a 2015 honda accord last year from JANICE but lately was thinking of getting a CRV since my husband and i were thinking of getting a bigger car for our future family. I decided to call them and inquire about the email i received. I spoke to Stephen who was very helpful and invited me to come over to the dealership to see if we are going to be qualified to trade in our vehicle. When we got there we were so happy to see JANICE.. like i mentioned earlier, she gave my husband and i and my sister a great deal that we couldn't resist and never expected. She of course greeted us and gave us the run down on what we should expect from doing this trade. Her Manager Al was extremely helpful and cooperative with our request on staying within our budget and hoping to get a lower interest rate and monthly payment. Though i know its very hard to grant those requests since we wanted to upgrade to a CRV that was when the financial advisors Anna whom we requested for since she assisted us in the past had to get off already and later on got Anthony V instead who made it happen and finalized the awesome deal! He worked with JANICE and Al to try and grant our request based on their best ability... To make a long story short we walked out with a New Black Honda CRV EX WITH a WAY LOWER interest rate and lower monthly payment (we are now paying less than what we were paying for the Honda Accord). All thanks to JANICE, Jason, Al, Anna and Anthony! Honda of El Cerrito never fails to satisfy us! Thanks again for the impeccable customer service and honesty! You guys are awesome! For all of you reading this review, they also have a lifetime power train warranty which MOST of other honda dealerships don't! Waste no time going to other dealerships.. Honda of El Cerrito WILL guarantee to take care of you! JANICE YOU'RE THE BEST! More

Looking at all Odysseys on the lot, explaining all options thoroughly. She was extremely knowledgeable. After going over our options, she was able to get my wife and I into our new dream van! My wife and I purchased a Honda Odyssey in charcoal grey. Everything was a breeze. We were elated about our monthly payment and even happier with the apr % we locked into! Everyone, from the staff on the sales floor, to finance, Jeffrey was awesome. Everyone there just mindblowingly impressive and professional and patient and knowledgeable. Im still in shock a week later, from how easy they made everything for us and for the beyond great deal we received! More

Best sales person I've worked with! I've worked with a lot of different sales people and I use to work in the industry myself so I already know what to expect but this one was different. I've worked with a lot of different sales people and I use to work in the industry myself so I already know what to expect but this one was different. When first walking in I thought I would get treated like every other customer going on to a dealership but not with Janne she came up and introduced herself to me and we just had a conversation about cars. I didn't feel like a customer at that moment it felt more like I was talking to a friend about cars and that is the type of sales person I like. No pressure just knowledge and suggestions.
