Then, they "allowed" me a new vehicle (still with the remaining balance of the last adjusted to the new cost), that was brand new (both Fords). 13 miles on it. The car started shifting weird and I spoke with the service department they told me, "thats just how the car is made." Yeah, no kidding. After 20,000 miles the engine light came on. Had the transmission serviced still in warranty. Then 40,000 the engine light came on. Had the transmission serviced still in warranty. Then at 60,000 the car stopped functioning all together, engine light came on. Out of warranty. After reviewing that it was ONCE AGAIN FOR THE THIRD TIME the transmission IN LESS THAN 6 MONTHS, they tried to charge me the full price of repair. After 9 months of arguing with them, not having a working car, having to purchase another vehicle I ended up severing ties with Ford. I wouldn't buy A LAWN MOWER from these crooks. DO NOT GO HERE!! Great sales experience on my new Fusion Not sure about other reviews but I had a great experience. I dealt with the Internet department which made my buying experience quick and efficient. Not sure about other reviews but I had a great experience. I dealt with the Internet department which made my buying experience quick and efficient. Shawn Green and Jared LaCoste both helped me get into a new Ford Fusion. I received a great price, no haggling back and forth, no games played. When I showed up, their Internet Director greeted me as if he was my best friend and it was nice to know they were prepared to show me vehicles and packages that I wanted. After a great test drive the paperwork was ready for me to sign I did wait about 15 minutes for signing in their finance office but other people were also purchasing. After signing my new Fusion was professionally detailed with a full tank of gas. The managers came out to congratulate me and they all made me feel as if I made new friends which I did. To Jared Shawn and Bobby Thanks for everything Regards Aaron Santoyo More

I decided to try a new dealership out as I haven't been really all that satisfied with the other 3 dealers I've been to with this car. I picked El Cajon Ford because they were offering certain tire manufacturers with a $140 rebate. I was just going to go ahead and get the same tires that came on the car as standard which are the Goodyear Eagle F1s. A lot of people don't really like this tire but I felt that with they were more than adequate with daily driving duties mixed with a little spirited driving here and there. I made an appointment and arrived in the morning on 6/5/17. I explained to the service writer what I was looking for and he suggested that I consider going with a set of Continental's, either the DWS-06 or Extreme Contact Sport. I recently attended a day at the BMW Performance Driving School in Thermal, Ca. and they are sponsored by Continental. I was impressed by the tires they had fitted on their M series cars and all the instructors there raved about how good of a tire they were. I decided to give them a shot and went with the DWS-06s. Great tire by the way and I'm glad they were recommended. I left my car there and they gave me a ride back to my house in their shuttle which was much appreciated. I got a call that afternoon that my car was ready to be picked up and so I had my buddy drop me off. Drove my car home, parked it in my driveway, and then went across the street to grab my mail out of the mailbox. Walking back to my house and approaching the back of my car I noticed that the left rear tread pattern was different than the right rear. I felt this was odd and on further inspection of the other 3 tires realized that the left rear was a different model and not matching. Very close at first glance but definitely different. I understand mistakes happen and so I gave them a call first thing the next morning as they had already closed for the day. Upon giving them a call I asked for the service writer who I had spoke with the day before so I could explain the situation. I was immediately informed that he was not with the dealership anymore. I felt this was odd and then asked to speak with the service manager. I then explained to him the situation and he apologized and said he would order up the correct model tire and give me a call when it arrived. This was about 7:30-8:00 in the morning. Around 12:00 I realized I had not received a call yet and called to get an update on the arrival of the tire. He said it was on its way and would call me when it arrived. At 5:30pm he gave me a call telling me it was there. I asked him if he wanted me to bring my car down there immediately and he then claimed everybody has gone home for the day. Their service department hours stated they close at 6:00pm. He then told me to bring it in first thing the next morning and he would get it taken care of. I arrived first thing the next morning and asked to see the service manager that I spoke with over the phone and was told by the 2 service writers at the front desk that he was not in today. They then had to confirm with each other that they were briefed on the situation the night before. They then told me that my car would be taken care of immediately and I could wait. It took them about 30 mins to swap the tire out and then I was on my way. I arrived back home and was looking over the tires when I noticed that they had left a lot of the lubricant on the wheels that they use to install the tires. In my experience working at a Discount Tire when I was younger we would always coat the bead of the tire with a slippery solution before installing it with the machine to ease in the installation. New tires are extremely stiff especially if they are a lower profile tire. The biggest difference is that when we did this we would always wipe off the excess after installing and mounting the tire as that's just the proper way to do things. When I got to the right rear wheel I started wiping it down and my microfiber towel got snagged on something. I wiped off that area a bit more and noticed that there was a significant gouge in my wheel. Now you could immediately say that it might be from curbing a wheel but I've owned this car since new and have never curbed one of the wheels. Also, when you curb a wheel there is always a scrape around the gouge. This gouge has no scrape. It's a direct gouge as if someone does not know how to properly use a tire machine. I unfortunately did not have time to go back to the dealership as I had to go back to work the next few days but on completion of a service at this dealership they send you an email stating that if you have any questions or concerns about your recent experience to reply to the email address for the service manager listed in the email and they would handle it. Because I essentially was there twice I got 2 emails. Each with different names listed so I sent 2 different emails. I still have gotten no response and it is 7/9/17 as of me writing this. More

Got busy and forgot about it and looked online a few days ago again and it was still there for advertised price of $66,355. So I went down there to buy it and dealer said he wanted $30k over MRSP. I showed him on his computer they were advertising it for MSRP. He says, yeah but we can't honor our ad price. LOLOL! Gotta love car dealers. Sad. Would NEVER do business with these people. More

Out of the 16 Years of vehicle purchases THIS HAS TO BE THE WORST DEALERSHIP. The art of the BAIT AND SWITCH is a learned and trusted technique with their staff and managers alike. I purchased my 2016 Ford explorer Platinum from them on 1/21/2017 through Ron Allen as my salesman and Klayton Belden as the sales manager. Ron Allen was a really great guy to meet. OK, First It was a little concerning that they offered 14K below blue book on the first offer for my trade in. Absolute insult and a Display of ignorance off the get go. Once negotiations followed and I got them within my set number range that I had. We pursued with the purchase. Ron Allen had stated that it was a Demonstrator vehicle in which the Owner Paul leader’s wife had driven prior to being placed for sale on the lot. Sky Link and paint and fabric package they were going to include in this purchase. Great!!! Everything was going smooth. I get into Finance to consolidate the paperwork with Joshua Pratt. This is where the up sale came in. Was able to fight off the larger prices on warranty and service plans until the numbers kept falling. In which I then pulled the trigger on. Now paperwork signed and I’m out the door. Entire process took 12 minutes. Should have been my first concern at the quickness of this part to that I would then notice errors on what was an alleged trusted business transaction. Let’s get back to this part later. He was able to recoup some loss. Once I got the vehicle home to show my friend I lifted the hood to display the Ecoboost engine. To my shock. The engine had NO ENGINE COVER on it (See attached pics). Must have been cannibalized to place on another vehicle. Along with a primer deep gouge on the lift gate. Also included in this lovely sale was Mrs. Paul leaders (Owners Wife) CD collection and personal paperwork in the console and storage tray. Along with their home garage door opener. Once I did a closer look at the car, it had never even been cleaned they literally rinsed it off and slapped armor all on the tires. Literally pushed out the door. Another number sold, on to the next soul. A few days later I had a few fuses blow out that limited some options, in which I had replaced. Now about 10 days later I get a ticket in the mail saying my trade in vehicle (Mercedes) was downtown San Diego and had received a parking ticket. Expired Meter. (See pic) I took that ticket directly to El Cajon the next day and Klayton Belden (Owners Grandson) states he had just gotten the ticket and paid it online. 11 days after the fact. Have to love the Sketchiness of the Grandson joy riding the trade in. Get ticket and forget it. Now back to the paperwork….. So then something told me to screen back through the paperwork to see if they tried any other tricks…SURPRISE!!!! They had charged me for the SkyLink , paint and fabric protection NOT saving me $1,394.00 as stated by Ron Allen. And there was the Recoup of money. In which my SkyLink was never activated as well. Best $795.00 spent, right. Death by 1,000 paper cuts. This entire experience has been very disappointing and amateur on all levels Possible. I should have checked Yelp and dealer rater prior to my Business here. It shows a terrible track record to this trend and many others. It concerns me how Paul xxxx and Bobby Morales still hold management positions at El Cajon Ford with the blatant loss of customer fidelity displayed online media. I bought one of their top model vehicles. Imagine if you buy a standard or mid-level vehicle from them. SCARY to think about that experience. Try Kearney Pearson FORD. Their reviews are a lot higher and seem to display integrity. **UPDATE** I contacted Bobby Morales, Internet Director and he worked with me to refund my service plans and Paint and Fabric package. He expressed his apologies and I kept the extended warranty due to being transferable within any Ford service center. But happy to cut strings with El Cajon Ford and moving on. More

Four weeks later after a few early morning trips to the service they couldn't figure out how to fix it. I was told I could take it somewhere else and the dealer would pay half... seriously??? Today I just received a letter from the DMV stating I had no proof of insurance from the dealer and if I didn't show I could have my registration suspend!!! I put insurance on the car before i left their lot, per their suggestion. Crappy place to buy a car..or to get a preexisting issue fixed. More
