Great experience, and will seek after sales rep for future.. business.... Jermaine was awesome to work with. I had an idea of what i was specifically looking at from the dealership thru online research in adva business.... Jermaine was awesome to work with. I had an idea of what i was specifically looking at from the dealership thru online research in advance. When working with Jermaine I didn't feel pressured to make a deal on the spot, nor was i pressured to try and settle with something different just to make a quick sale. I was looking at a 2013 Camaro in which i needed time after reviewing to consult with my wife. Jermaine was upfront with me on the status of others looking at the vehicle and didn't pressure me to make a quick settle. I had looked at others dealers and cars of course to compare costs, but ultimately it came down to my interactions and ongoing communication with Jermaine that sold me. I would recommend anyone working with Jermaine. And for future business in looking at cars I will definitely be seeking out Jermaine specifically to work with directly. I've had the 2013 Camaro for three weeks now and am loving it. More

As I drove onto the lot, Jermaine Dawdy greeted me cheerfully, and did everything possible to answer my questions and respond to my requests. He and others on the Edwards used car team (Rich Hobbs and Brian Rogers) made my satisfaction their highest priority. When they found that the car I wanted to test drive had been taken home by a manager as a demonstrator, they jumped into action to get that car returned to the lot and prepped for my test drive. To respect my time and reduce the time I had to sit around at the dealership, Jermaine worked the deal over the phone with me the next day. He patiently listened to my bucket list of requests, and did everything I ask him to do. When I arrived to close the deal, I told Jermaine I had limited time, and had to leave in an hour. Jermaine and Brian raced around the dealership, from the sales office to the body shop to the service department, and made sure I was on the road with minimum delay. Jermaine worked with Karen Driscoll in the business office to process my paperwork in record time, even though I was waiting for Karen to finish with another customer. By the time I entered Karen's office, all I had to do was to sign and drive. Fantastic teamwork! Even after the sale, the next day, I asked if I could get a second fob and key, and the team once again was happy to help. When you go to Edwards Hyundai Subaru, ask for Jermaine Dawdy. You won't be disappointed. More
Save yourself a headache Finance lied to us about loan and shorted us $900. Two months later and still haven't paid our friend the referral bonus promised. We went with Edward Finance lied to us about loan and shorted us $900. Two months later and still haven't paid our friend the referral bonus promised. We went with Edwards because they were cheaper. We definitely got cheaper service. Look them up on Better Business Bureau before going here- 32 reports of similar dishonest practices. Go to Stan Olsen. Their BBB review is pristine. Honestly, we are kicking ourselves. This company is very dishonest. When we addressed our concerns, they ignored them. Had to go through Subaru of America and BBB, working on resolution. More
Horrible Experience - Stay away from this dealership We bought a car from Edwards Hyundai and it was the worst car buying experience we have had in 30 years. They lied to us and we ended up paying almos We bought a car from Edwards Hyundai and it was the worst car buying experience we have had in 30 years. They lied to us and we ended up paying almost $1,000 out of pocket due to their incompetence in processing the financial paperwork. They sold us unnecessary accessories and then would not return our calls, letters or made us wait for hours to talk to the manager. Jay and Dustin who work in the finance department are liars. The General Manager ignores you after the sale. Horrible, horrible experience. Even the Better Business Bureau could not get them to do the right thing. Stay away from this dealership!!! More
The Sales Manager will lie to your face and continue to lie I went in with my daughter who currently is in a lease and had 8 months remaining on the lease to view the deal they had on a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Li I went in with my daughter who currently is in a lease and had 8 months remaining on the lease to view the deal they had on a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited that was advertised for $199. We went to Edwards Hyundai in Council Bluffs, Ia. The very first thing we said was if she has any money owed on her current lease then we would walk away and come back closer to the end of her lease. The Sonata deal seemed like a good deal and we went in just to see. The sales person, who was new, went to the sales manager(Andrea) and she said they would need to see the car but should not be a problem. We came back a second time with the car for what we were told would take 5 minutes to review the car, took well over an hour and a half. I had to be somewhere so I told the sales person we needed to leave. Andrea then came in and said the $199 per month "deal" on the Sonata was for the basic and the price would be $269 for the "$199 deal"... I asked why it was so much higher and again, specifically and directly, asked her if there was any money remaining on my daughters car that was being transferred to the new Sonata. She said "No, thats the taxes and tags. We told them we needed to discuss this and I had to be somewhere so I asked the sales man to break down the fees and send it to my daughter in an email. My daughter was considering this because we took Andrea at her word so we went back in a third time but wanted to talk to the lease manager and ask why the "taxes and tags" fee was so much higher then the vehicle she was currently leasing. I asked again if there was any money from the other car being added to the cost of this one. He avoided the question and changed the subject. I stopped him and told him I want a direct answer to a direct question. He told me there was $1,500 from the other lease that was added on to the new car. This is lie number one from Andrea. He said for the miss-communication they would knock off $10 and make it $159 per month. We told the lease manager we would do it for the limited that is advertised for the $199. He said he couldn't do that. I asked why they would not stand behind their false add. He said he was not there and didnt know of any online add stating that. We walked outside and the salesman followed. We told him how unhappy we were about them not honoring the add and Andrea lying to us. He told me that she told him the same thing, that there would be no money owed against the current lease. While we were outside, we were looking in the windows of some of the limiteds and Andrea called the young salesman in while we were talking to him. He came back out and said Andrea said there's no need to look at the limiteds because they will not sell them for that price(not even the higher price with the $1500 tacked on). I was really ticked at that time. How unprofessional for a manager to call in her sales man to tell him to not show potential clients the car they want. I told him I wanted Todd, Andreas boss to call me, since he was not there that day and I wanted to file a formal complaint. We left and the next day Andrea called me and told me that she talked to my daughter at her "counter" and told her that their was money owed.(Lie # 2) My daughter was never more then 2 feet from me any time during this transaction and the sales person was also never more then 2 feet away from us anytime any of the other employees(Andrea and Lease Manager) were around. She also said there was no deal like that on the limited(Lie # 3). I told she was a liar since I photocopied the website before they could change it, and to have Todd call me. He did not. I called several days in a row and Todd did not return my call. I went in to Edwards Hyundai and as soon as Andrea saw me she called all the sales people in to her office. I found out later that she told her sales people that non of them could talk to me. More professionalism. Todd was not there so I left I called a few more times until I got through. He said there was nothing he could do that he stands behind her and it was an unfortunate miscommunication A direct lie is not a communication error. I got nowhere. I want over to Edwards Chevy and asked who was above Todd. They said Troy Ratigan was the VP and the highest in the auto group and only below the owner. I walked in his office and caught him there. I had email documentation from the sales man stating there was no money being transferred from the old to the new. I also photocopied the website stating the price for the limited. I also photocopied the website that had been changed immediately after I complained. I talked with Troy and he said he would talk to her and the salesman and lease manager and get back to me. He called me the next day and said Andrea was "reprimanded" but no more action would be taken, nor would they honor their deal. I talked for several minutes and got no where. He said "since we didnt actually buy anything, they didnt owe us a thing" So what this tells me, is all the way to the top at any Edwards Auto Group location, Lying is condoned. All they had to do from the beginning, instead of waste 2 weeks of my time was to say there would be $1500 left owed on the current lease. We would have walked away content and came back at the end of the lease. Instead they try to lie and deceive. Anything to make a buck at the expense of what they hope is a gullible client. I am going to take this to the Iowa State Attorney General. More
