Unparalled Service I usually don't take time from my busy schedule to provide feedback, but I just had to share the fact that Demetrio Fernandez, Jr. (Deme) and his team I usually don't take time from my busy schedule to provide feedback, but I just had to share the fact that Demetrio Fernandez, Jr. (Deme) and his team at Edison Nissan provided me with my best service appointment, ever! They diagnosed the issues appropriately, provided us with the best discount, were very respectful of our time, and even corrected an issue that a different body shop left unresolved. I've used a number of different shops, but theirs is unrivaled. I'm in awe of their professionalism, knowledge, and workmanship. They went above and beyond for us and we truly appreciate Deme and his team. And even though we reside in New York, Deme and the team have made an impression on us and we plan to make the trip out to their facility in New Jersey anytime we need our vehicle repaired. Congrats to Deme and the team at Edison Nissan for making life customers! More
Horrible Service department The worst dealership ever! Actually, the worst service department!! I am the only one in my household with a Nissan. We have a Honda, Ford and Toyo The worst dealership ever! Actually, the worst service department!! I am the only one in my household with a Nissan. We have a Honda, Ford and Toyota and I am the only one with problems with my dealership. The service department is extremely rude. When they are trying to sell you the car, they will say things like " oh you get free oil changes for life", which might make you think, " oh this is a great deal considering how much money I would save on oil changes for life". This is a gimmick so please do not fall for it and this is particular to Edison Nissan only because I used to have a 2013 Nissan Altima from Nissan North Plainfield dealership and they actually did give free oil changes. Also, North Plainfield Nissan used to use synthetic oil for oil changes which is more efficient, better for your car and lasts longer. Edison Nissan used regular oil because your car can take "regular oil". I went for an oil change the other day and the service professional said that it would cost $39.99 if I did not get my maintenance done from them which is a ridiculous price of $689!!!! I reminded her of the pitch the salesman had when I was thinking about buying the car of free oil changes and she said oh " it's actually only 2 oil changes per year". You guys do the math 2 regular oil changes a year which are 3500 miles apart equals only 7,000 miles. They really expect people only drive 7000 miles a year?!?! Although I bought my car from Edison Nissan, I booked an appt. with North Plainfield Nissan Service department to get my services done so I do not have to deal with fake rude people. Also, the multi point inspection they do is fake too because the last one I got done had a lot of things that needed to be replaces and were in a mediocre condition but I am guessing that's when they were trying to make me get the service package for them. This time, they tried to sell me the service package before the inspection and since I clearly resisted beforehand, my multipoint inspection came all green- that is all good. How did parts that needed to be replaces over time just became acceptable? The service department is a huge asset of a dealership because you go to buy the car only once with the sales department but every time after you have to deal with the service department so choose your dealership wisely. Service consultant with a bad attitude for business I have a used 350z. I came here to edison nissan here in nj and told the advisor name John Lieber that I needed the four digit pin code to program the I have a used 350z. I came here to edison nissan here in nj and told the advisor name John Lieber that I needed the four digit pin code to program the key for my car. He did tell me that he wasn't able to give out that code but did ask for my registration. I proceeded to give it to him. John input all of my information into the system then gave me a card with a 5 digit code and said to me. "Its not a four digit code to program your car its a 5 digits code." Then he says "I have a feeling I will be seeing you again. With a smirk." I went back to the locksmith and the smith said to me. What he gave you was the codes to cut the key not to program it. As you can imagine I was very angry. As I returned back to the dealership and I told him what he gave me he smirks and said well that's what I thought you wanted. I told him this is not a game. And you purposely gave me the wrong codes. Furthermore on a separate situation while I am currently here John is having a separate disagreement with another 2 customers. One of the situations i can hear him saying to the guy after the guy walks away "get out of my life." Which made a few by standers chuckle. "This is an embarrassment to this dealership." If this is this dealership normal behavior I refuse to come back because I don't want to be disrespected such as I have by giving me the wrong codes and saying I have a feeling I will be seeing you again with a smirk then talking about a co-worker and customers as they walk away. As I type this a co-worker here that appears to be quiting the job and the advisor John is making a bit of fun of the guy as the guy walks away from him. The guy is just here for his last check and it appears he is getting the run around by telling him to wait and he have been here since the beginning of my run around with my key ordeal and that was 2 hours ago. Furthermore as I continue to type this I hear more sarcastic remarks from John. If this is how they treat customers and their employees they should be report to the BBB. The other 3 employees that helped me I must say were understanding and very nice. More

SERVICE DEPT IS TERRIBLE I BOUGHT MY 2009 NISSAN PATHFINDER IN FOR A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. IT TOOK THEM A DAY TO EVEN LOOK AT IT. THEY SAID IT WAS A BAD OXYGEN SENSOR. I AGRE I BOUGHT MY 2009 NISSAN PATHFINDER IN FOR A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. IT TOOK THEM A DAY TO EVEN LOOK AT IT. THEY SAID IT WAS A BAD OXYGEN SENSOR. I AGREED TO HAVE THEMN FIX I EVEN THOUGH IT WAS EXPENSIVE. $700.00 PARTS AND LABOR. THEN THEY CALLED ME UP AND SAID I ALSO NEEDED A CAT CONVERTER FOR 1700. THESE PEOPLE DONT KOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I am in a service industry and more than not issues occur, it is how you handle those issues that separate the good from the bad. John was not going to rest until I gave the green light that I was satisfied. I live around an hour away but will hopefully be able to figure out when it makes sense to get my service from them. More

From the moment that Joel in ser I called up Edison Nissan Service to ask if they could help me out with a recall on my Nissan Juke and an oil change. From the moment that Joel in service answered the phone to when the work was done on my car I could not have been more impressed. He was very friendly, helpful, and professional. I typically bring my car to Windsor Nissan and was hesitant to go anywhere else but I was pleasantly with my experience at Edison Nissan. I would recommend this dealership to others, especially when dealing with Joel in service. Thank you! More
