I purchased a new vehicle with Mike Lozado, who is a liar - he tried xxxxxxx me into finalizing a purchase by saying I will have free oil changes for 5 years, he never told me that it was only 2 oil changes - he tried xxxxxxx me into finalizing a purchase by saying I will have free oil changes for 5 years, he never told me that it was only 2 oil changes a year for 5 years that are free. he made me hide the packet in my purse to make it seem like he was giving me a good deal. I will never come back to this dealership and will never recommend anyone to come here. More

After calling back and forth from the higher management staff about my concerns in the car that I purchased,(about 2 weeks) I finally got deal that I'm comfortable with Gene and Nora worked with me so...so staff about my concerns in the car that I purchased,(about 2 weeks) I finally got deal that I'm comfortable with Gene and Nora worked with me so...so...much that I got not only the good deal but the best!Gene and Nora are very pleasant, sensitive and professional. Gene made sure I understand everything before I left his office and that just put a smile in my face. The dealership should have more of these qualities in the front line. I know Edison Nissan is a new company and it`s a business, their there to make money/profit, I don't want them to fail coz they are supporting our(United States) economy by creating jobs for the people and their families, but as a consumer,I want to feel the deal is the best one out there for me and still pay my rent, feed my family and drive a Nissan car!I would recommend this dealership only if they spoke to Gene and Nora first. I purchased a used vehicle from here last month and can honestly say it has been a terrible experience. I went in on a Saturday to check out the car I wanted and the place was horribly disorganized. I ga honestly say it has been a terrible experience. I went in on a Saturday to check out the car I wanted and the place was horribly disorganized. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because it was busy, but it was off putting to say the least. I test drove the vehicle and asked a number of questions, which the salesman (Phil Ribiero) could not answer. For example, he thought the car that we were driving had a rotary engine (which it didn't) and didn't even know where the car was built/where the company was from or the number of previous owners. If you are in the business of selling cars, I expect you to know something about the specific cars and companies you are selling. Never the less, they had the car that I wanted and at a decent price. We sat down and started negotiating, which went fine. They charged all of the unnecessary fees that all car dealerships charge, but they were relatively reasonable. The bidding process (the salesman going back and forth to his manager) was surprisingly slow. During this time, there were salesman cursing and acting like they were in frat house. I get that they are car salesmen, but a little more professionalism would have been nice. Once we settled on a price, then came the excessively long wait to deal with financing. Up until that point, we had spent maybe an hour to an hour and a half at the dealership. The financing process took another four. For most of that time, our salesperson was no where to be found (even when he needed to be) and no one kept us informed as to what was going on. When we finally met with the financing individual, all of the paperwork was wrong. It took them about five tries to get my name, the insurance information, and even the car's information, correct. The whole experience struck me as disorganized and made me question their competence . If I wasn't in a time crunch to purchase a car and didn't receive a decent deal, I would have walked out of there, no problem. Honestly, if it had just been the unprofessionalism and disorganization the day of purchasing, I probably would have just chalked it up to a bad day and have left it alone. But following my purchase, the problems continued. During the sale, I agreed to pay them a small fee and costs to have them file all of the paperwork to get my registrations and tags from the state. While that process took place, they gave me a 20 day temporary tag. First week, no tags or contact. Fine. Second week, Hurricane Sandy strikes New Jersey, and nothing is done. Ok, even though according to their promotional e-mail that I received, their entire operation was fine and operating after being shut down for only one/two days. Third week, when my tags are expiring, I begin calling regularly to figure out what is going on. As it turned out, they had not even gotten around to preparing and filing my paperwork with the DMV. In fact, they wouldn't even get around to it until the week AFTER my temporary tags expired. Mind you that I had to call about twice a day for two weeks to even get that kind of service or a call back. I even went as far as leaving a message for one of the managers (Georgie, I believe his name was) and never heard back from him. So finally, this week (over a week after my temp tags expired), they receive my tags and tell me that they will ship them overnight at their own expense, due to the delay they caused. I told them that it was important that they arrived the next day because everyone is my household works and won't be able to sign for them during the work week. Sure enough, when I check the tracking number (that I had to call back to get) I realize that they did not ship them overnight and that they will arrive in the middle on next week when no one is here to sign for them. That was the last straw for me. Edison Nissan is a disorganized, unprofessional, dishonest, and incompetent organization from which I will never by another vehicle from. I can honestly say this has been an unnecessarily difficult process and I would recommend that anyone looking to purchase a car should find another more reputable dealership to deal with. This one is horrible. Note: This is in no way a comment on the service center at Edison Nissan. From what I understand they are an entirely seperate entity and are hopefully managed by more competant people. More

The first time I found is I had already paid my downpayment but there is finance payment show I didn't pay any dealership, there are a lot of tricks. The first time I found is I had already paid my downpayment but there is finance payment show I didn't pay anything. I called them back, they refund me money, but there is no apologized from them. The second thing is I bought ten times oil change and they said it can be use in any nissan dealership, when I go to other dealership to change oil, they said there is no free oil change on their system. I called them back, the salesman even do not pick up my phone, I called about 10 times he picked up and said he don't know anything and told me he won't work there anymore. But actually he still works there. Sucks dealership! Do not go!!!! More
I should have known that the Edison Nissan scratch and match game was too good to be true, but I did not not expect to be scammed like this. My experience with Edison Nissan began when I got the pamphlet match game was too good to be true, but I did not not expect to be scammed like this. My experience with Edison Nissan began when I got the pamphlet in the mail that said to match two numbers, and win one of four prizes. I got the match, and when I went to the dealership, the sales manager told me that wining number is not the number on top with the big bold letters; instead it’s a small number by the zip code. The salesman, and the manager, scammed me by lying to me about what was really the right number. I know this because, I called the dealership the next day to find out the details of the game, and a sales woman told me that the two wining number is the one you scratch off, not the one on the bottom of the pamphlet by the zip code. As soon as I left the dealership, I felt like they stole that car from me. I recall how they controlled the conversation, how they took the pamphlet from me, and sent me on my way so I can’t prove anything. I could not sleep all night. As it turns out, I got the right match after all, its just that when they see that you got the match, they use an alternate number so they don’t have to pay the prize. I asked to be transferred to a manager to talk about what happened, but they sent me to a voice mail. Every time I called after that, and asked to speak to sales, they transferred me to a voice mail. How is that that a dealership has no one available from the SALES department! I am going to go over there today, and ask for my prize, maybe its just a scam that the salesman, and the manager ran together. I hope that the dealership does not support this activity, but they should not hire people like that in the first place. More
