My daughter and I drove over 100 miles one-way into the city to consider this auto. I was fortunate to have spoken with Patrick Vaughan who was professional, gave me a review of the auto I was considering city to consider this auto. I was fortunate to have spoken with Patrick Vaughan who was professional, gave me a review of the auto I was considering, and made the process very VERY easy for an out- of-towner. On my arrival, Patrick had the auto ready and parked in the front. After my test ride and inspection I would say Patrick's review of the auto given over the phone was absolutely accurate. My interest was to consider the auto and if I bought it get out of the city before rush hour traffic. I believe the entire team at Ed Voyles Used Car Center worked with us to get that done. It was a pleasure to have my daughter with me and deal with the team. That's the way business is supposed to be done - with courtesy and true professionalism! I hope I get another chance to buy from Ed Voyles Used Car Center again soon and would without reservation recommend them to a friend. More
Yesterday I took my friend to this dealer shop. She bought a Taurus. As many recommended here, we chose Patrick as our sales person. Indeed, he knows a lot about how to choose a used car. No tricks bought a Taurus. As many recommended here, we chose Patrick as our sales person. Indeed, he knows a lot about how to choose a used car. No tricks at all. And he even checked all the details for us. So the buying process is very simple and painless. The only thing you need to do is to tell Patrick about your budget. Will do business with him again soon. More
I visited Ed Voyles Honda to look into a used Honda Civic SI. Patrick was very welcoming and pleasant. This being the first time I was actually buying a car for myself, I felt a bit intimidated and unsure SI. Patrick was very welcoming and pleasant. This being the first time I was actually buying a car for myself, I felt a bit intimidated and unsure about the whole process. My concern is always, like you hear of so many dealerships, having a bunch of negotiations and surprises. I value honesty and directness. Patrick was both very honest and very direct. He kept me informed through the whole process. Further, he was very interested in my choice of car, as he likewise still drives a manual. It was nice to buy from someone who not only was honest and informative, but also really appreciated my choice. I highly recommend Patrick to anyone looking to buy a used Honda at Ed Voyles. There was one difficulty in my experience, but this was not Patrick's fault. Because I am a student and had an out of state license they were overly wary of me, to the point of being a bit rude. I had to prove I had a job, was a student, and they had to speak with my parents. Now I understand that they need to be sure about this sort of thing, but it seemed a bit much. This is the reason for the 4 on overall experience. That said, though (and I assume most people won't be buying with an out of state license, etc.) it was a good experience and I got the car I wanted. I felt and it was a very smooth process. I would still highly recommend Ed Voyles Honda and specifically Patrick Vaughn for anyone looking for a used Honda. More
I have recently had the occasion to visit Ed Voyles twice. Several weeks ago when my daughter started her career as a police officer for the city of Athens/Clarke county, she asked me to help her purch twice. Several weeks ago when my daughter started her career as a police officer for the city of Athens/Clarke county, she asked me to help her purchase her very first very own car. She did research on the Internet and was looking for a Honda product in her price range. As her dad I went to the dealership on a misearble October day and was greeted by Mr. Rabreaux who then showed me numerous vehicles which she might be interested in. After giving her the list of the cars, she decided on a Honda Element. On her next off day she and I met with AKA "Rainbow". To her disappointment the Element had been sold the night before. She really didn't like any of the other choices. John, then did more research and located a newly traded in Honda CRV with super low miles which fit the bill exactly. The vehicle still needed to be detailed and a tail light lens had to be ordered. We completed the deal in about an hour after that with payments my daughter could afford by herself. Thus she qualified for the loan w/o a cosigner thus starting her credit history. Audrey loves her Honda and John followed up with her as well as me on our experience with Ed Voyles and also notified me promptly when the lens came in. The second purchase was made by myself on 11/12/09. After checking with some other dealers in the area, John returned a call I had placed to him and advised that if I didn't find what I wanted in a used commuter vehicle for under 10 K to come and see him. He was sure we could come up with a vehicle to satisfy my needs at a reasonable price. I traded in an older Jeep which was just too difficult to drive the 100 plus mile almost daily commute. Rainbow got me the trade in amount I needed and within a painless hour after he put gas in my Volvo convertible I was on my way. To top it off John Rabreaux also reminded his sales manager, that a referral check should be sent to my daughter since if it was not for her referring me to Ed Voyles neither sale would have been made. So, When someone is in the market to buy a clean pre-owned car.........I tell them see "Rainbow" at Ed Voyles Honda and tell him Mike the Police sent you. More
Patrick was delightful. He did not try to "sell" me anything. He showed me what I was looking for in the price range I requested. He didn't waste my time trying to sell me something outside my price ra anything. He showed me what I was looking for in the price range I requested. He didn't waste my time trying to sell me something outside my price range or a car that did not interest me. Patrick gave me and my husband time alone to test drive and discuss what we would like to do. He also did not play games running back and forth with his manager on prices. It was quick and painless. I highly recommend you ask for Patrick next time you stop in Ed Voyles Used Car Lot. More
