Dec. 2024. This makes no sense and I am compelled to let others know, not just forget about it. I bought my '22 Kia Niro at this dealer and less than 1.5 2024. This makes no sense and I am compelled to let others know, not just forget about it. I bought my '22 Kia Niro at this dealer and less than 1.5 years later with only 17,600 miles (still under the original factory warranty 3yrs / 36K miles) the car had been towed in 4 times for the same problem, a faulty 12v battery that would not hold a charge. Each time the service dept. simply charged the 12v battery enough to start the car, and sent me home saying I needed to drive it more to charge it up. I drive the car every single day! After the 4th tow and and all the frustration of being stranded again on the other side of Atlanta, it wouldn't even start when I came to pick it up where they had parked it in front of their service entrance! They had to jump it off in front of me with a mobile charger after I showed the tech how to open the hatchback with the manual key and pointed out where the 12v battery was. Yet they still refused to acknowledge the 12v battery was faulty and should be covered. They said, "it's excluded. We'll replace it for $240." During none of these visits was I offered a loaner car, and each visit took 3-4 days. I always had to call, leave messages and hope someone would call me back with an update. I did work with a very nice advisor, Gypsy, but she was clearly not empowered to make a pro-customer decision in my case. Instead, it felt like she would be dinged for pushing warranty coverage and was trained to issue excuses from a play book to deflect repeat non-rev service customers. I don't know. Just a corporate hunch. Finally, after they got started the car with a mobile charger - still refusing to replace the original 12v battery under the still active "bumper to bumper" warranty, I drove it directly to another Kia dealer who covered the replacement battery 100% and offered me a loaner. See photo. The new kia shop said, "we have to give customers loaners for cars still under their original warranty; and it's the right thing to do. We get a lot of fed-up customers from Voyles." I did let the Voyles dealer know via their text-chat, which was met with profuse apologies (another deflection tactic), but naturally no-one from management bothered to contact me. As a result, over a $150 battery, Ed Voyles Kia lost a repeat customer, a trade, and a future purchase, but they did earn this review. Maybe they are so busy, they can afford to deny warrantable service to pad their bottom line. Who cares? I'll never go back. More
For the service department particularly - wish I could give 0 stars. My husband’s car has been there over 3 weeks and we keep getting the run around on if someone has looked at it. I been dealing with Peter the service manager since 10/2023 about my check engine light that's covered under the lifetime warranty. He will was RUDE my first encounter with him and I refuse to speak with him again. I've called corporate service times and received case numbers but no results. I was told if I take my car anywhere else I would void my warranty. Kelly the warranty manager had me thinking she was willing to help me and told me my car with the CODES my car qualified for the lifetime warranty but only to inform me months later they had a "GOODWILL" engine they could sell me for $1500. They don't explain things well they need to train the Reps properly on what they are doing instead of just putting someone in the open position. I have been in their system since 2012 and I AM DONE!!! Very Highly disappointed. I only owe 2K on my 2018 KIA just fix it already!!! More
Absolutely horrid. Do not use this dealership for service. I made an appointment to have the diagnostics read for a check engine light. The appointment turned out to be just to check my vehicle in; they needed to hold my car for 7-10 days BEFORE even looking at it. I asked if I could check it in and bring it back in 7 days, but was told no as they could not risk their mechanics not having the vehicle there when they were ready. They did not care at all that I was expected to live without my car for 7-10 days just so it could sit on their lot. When I protested the ridiculousness of this policy, the service clerk became both indignant and rude. Save yourself time and hassle and go somewhere else. Run, don't walk, to another dealer or independent mechanic! More
Never ever buy a car or try to have one serviced at this dealer. I have tried for 25 days to get an answer about my vehicle. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was rude and insulting. I came in person to get info and guess what - rude again even denied knowing my car is here. It's been here since Jan 8th 2024. I will spend all of my free time and energy letting people know how horrible the employees are. NO ONE SHOULD ATTEMPT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALER. More
Oil change was easy to schedule and they were very courteous. I like the text updates on the car. I have to change oil at the dealer because the Stinger is so specific, but it didn't cost any more tha courteous. I like the text updates on the car. I've been having the engine issue for the recall code p1326 , they provided ecu software update and valve reset. Also any engine issues will take 7-10 business days. I can say they were really good at calling leaving voicemails and sending texts around when my car would be done or updates. They are busy, but have done a great job communicating. The issue was under warranty for those having a similar issue with the engine recall or sensor issues, but codes may very. Two weeks late the same issue happened and they took my car looked up my issues took the car right in and let me know 7-10 business days we will get you taken care of! they gave me a call , left vm and set a text. over all pleased with the customer service. Keep in mind they are very busy and it takes time and everyone is frustrated when their cars aren't fixed. More
