I am writing because your service department, especially Diana Bell and a unknown technician went out of their way to help my wife on Friday, Nov. 22,2013. We live in middle Ga. and my wife was in town for Diana Bell and a unknown technician went out of their way to help my wife on Friday, Nov. 22,2013. We live in middle Ga. and my wife was in town for a few meetings when she struck a curb and blew out a front tire. She was very distraught being in an unfamiliar place and the end of the day on a Friday no less. After calling Kia customer service and finding out some disturbing news, about not having even a space saver in her car, I contacted Ed Voyles service dept and spoke with Keith, he is the shop foreman. He checked to see if they had the correct tire in stock, which they did, and then gave the information to Diana Bell. He told me to call back and talk with Diana Bell after calling and updating my wife. It was after 5 pm when the tow truck got to my wife's location and although it was a short drive to the dealership, at 5 pm on Friday afternoon it took some time. The whole time waiting for the tow truck we were not sure if we would be able to get the car repaired and out before closing time. One technician stayed late repairing my wife's car professionally and Diana Bell assisted my wife with all the details. They were able to complete the transaction quickly and efficiently with a fair price. I have to be honest that I was concerned with all the things that were not in our favor as far as, being from out of town, late Friday evening, very rare tire that was needed, and a woman on her own. But the service dept, especially Diana Bell, Keith(the shop foreman), and the technician all were very fair and helpful beyond what we could have expected. He streamlined the numbers at the bottom dollar and we didn't have to deal with the typical gamesmanship that occurs at most dealerships: no first "closer" or second "closer" - just Glenn. He worked to squeeze a bit more for my trade and that was helpful. He knew the new Kia Cadenza inside and out and took the time to "impress" us with all the bells and whistles. had been looking for awhile but a friend said how good Ed Volyes was and actually Voyles had better pricing than most even on internet for what i was looking for. I went to Kia with the intention of looking at cars for a future purchase. I'd say that I was 90% sure that I wanted to purchase a car but was looking for ideas on this specific day. I went online approx. 2 weeks ago to view but was not sure. I went to another dealership (not a Kia dealership) prior to visiting this one on this day. Upon arrival, I received a very warm and friendly reception by James Robichaud. He asked if he could help me and what I was looking for. After talking for a while, he asked where I was from (I'm from NY and did not have a Southern accent). Hmmmm, we are both from NY. He introduced me to the other staff, they were just as welcoming. Another on this team lived in NY and was from my old neighborhood, hmmmmmm. I am a firm believer that nothing is by accident. Mr. Robichaud and I walked, talked, and viewed many vehicles. He spoke about each car we viewed, the incentives to purchase, the financing process, and about the team who actual speak to the banks for finance approval. I felt no pressure and actually very relaxed. The Kia team seemed to be a very cohesive group who worked well together and know their product (James, Fred, and Andy). After receiving all of this information, I realized that I was past ready to purchase my new car. James, you know your stuff! To help me be comfortable with my decision, I was allowed to take the car for a test drive AND take it overnight. What! I could not ask for anything more. This gave me time to think about it AND PRAY ABOUT IT, I knew I would have an answer. Well today I am happy to report, I purchased my car and am VERY, VERY, HAPPY. The entire process was smooth, no pressures, and quick. I want to add that to my surprise the APR was well below what I expected and I met my monthly payment amount less $22. Who can ask for anything more? KUDOS and thank you to the Kia team and thank you Jesus! More
