Great Service Experience, Negative Purchase Experience As longtime Honda owners (recently purchased number 5, a 2014 Odyssey), Ed Voyles has been the Honda dealership of choice to service our Hondas. And w As longtime Honda owners (recently purchased number 5, a 2014 Odyssey), Ed Voyles has been the Honda dealership of choice to service our Hondas. And we've been pleased with them for that purpose. However, out of our 5 Hondas, only one was purchased at Ed Voyles. I have tried to give this dealership a chance to earn our sales business, when purchasing our 2011 and now the 2014 Odyssey, and both times have been disappointed. Some reasons why include:1) prices are not always competitve with other local Honda dealers, 2) always lowballing on one's trade, even if the vehicle is in good condition, 3) inconsistent showroom experience. For example, when I came in to look at (with plans to purchase that day) my 2011 Odyssey, my then 5 year old and I came into the showroom on a weekday afternoon, with a check and the title to my trade, ready to leave with a van. We spent a full 15 minutes in the showroom, actually looking at the van, with salespeople and staff milling about and NO ONE so much as offered to help us. Needless to say, we left and bought elsewhere. A few week ago, I stopped in the showroom to see if a deal could be done to get us into a 2014 Odyssey. While the sales and finance staff were attentive and helpful (different from before), they were disappointing in terms of follow through. The other dealership worked hard to earn my business and to make a reasonable and fair deal in a reasonable amount of time. I am STILL waiting to hear back from sales and finance, whom when i last spoke to them, said they were "working on my deal". That was 2 weeks ago, and I am already driving in my new vehicle. While I get that Ed Voyles is a large dealership, consistency and follow through go a long way in the sales experience. We will get the 2014 serviced as always at Ed Voyles, along with our other Honda. Too bad they can't be the dealer we purchase from. More

Great experience! I had been searching for a Honda Odyssey for quite some time and had many bad experiences with dealers in my local area. I traveled 5 hours to Ed Voyl I had been searching for a Honda Odyssey for quite some time and had many bad experiences with dealers in my local area. I traveled 5 hours to Ed Voyles Honda and the trip was worth it. The salesman Sam was more than willing to do what ever was needed to ensure I was at ease with the buying process. He was also very considerate with addressing my questions and concerns. The process was quick and painless. They provided me with a great price right from the beginning and resolved my concerns quickly. I am very happy with my experience with this dealership and will not hesitate to drive another 5 hours for my next vehicle purchase with them. Malcom the sales manager introduced himself to me just to make sure I was well taken care of. This may seem small to a lot of people, but it showed me that there is a sense of pride in what they do there and that they know who the most important person in the building was, me, the customer. I would and will recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone. More

Bad Bad Bad services.......... 4/8/2014 I bought a brand new 2014 Honda Ridgeline truck and I also purchased Remote Engine Start System II accessories and had Ed Voyles Honda dealer 4/8/2014 I bought a brand new 2014 Honda Ridgeline truck and I also purchased Remote Engine Start System II accessories and had Ed Voyles Honda dealership install this system to get the warranty of 3 years or 36,000 miles that is offered when installed at the time of new vehicle purchase. 4/23/2014 I dropped off my truck at 9:00 am and waited until 2:00 pm. I was excited about the features and specification of the Remote Engine Start System II from Honda Genuine Accessories. After I picked up my truck, I discovered they had installed a different part (after market parts Avital remote starter) that doesn't have any features and specification, just start engine on & off. I called the customer service the next day and spoke to Greg Gibbons about this problem. I paid $618 for the Remote Engine Start System II (parts, labor and the factory look) and he said the Remote Engine Start System II doesn't work for the truck after they installed after market parts without letting me know. And another thing they said the factory parts not as good as the after market parts , so why are we have to pays extra for the factory parts and services through the dealer, we can have it done some where else cheaper.....right. I spoke to Greg Gibbons to let him know that I want my money back and to remove the Avital remote starter. He said to let him find out if there is maybe a fee of labor to remove..... Anyway they' re trying to cover their mistakes and he will call me back. This is the second day, and I haven't received a phone call from him. That is why I wrote this to share with everybody. They had not processed the paper work for her to receive the packet needed to get her tags until April 14th,2014. She had exactly 3 days left on her temporary tags which would expire April19th, a weekend ,when they got her the paperwork. Pretty sorry aftercare from the department which needed to process the paperwork. I think the dealership owns her a gas card at the very least from the stress caused by the "missing paperwork" and the inferior customer service after the purchase. More
