Went to Ed Tomko interested in a Durango. 2 out of the 7 on the lot had dead batteries. Never was offered a test drive on the one that did start. He would not work out any numbers on a lease unless i was going home with a Durango that night. They would not offer a trade/ buy out on my 2019 Toyota so Carmax would be my only option. Mike said he could pick me up from carmax and bring me to the dealership. I told him no way would i get rid of my car until he would discuss numbers. In secret he gave me his number and said he would work out some numbers on the 2 trim models i was interested in and send them that night. Never received any information nor a response when I contacted him by text and email. This dealership obviously does not want to sell their stock! I went to another dealership and got my Durango same as what they had on their lot! They missed out on a sale due to poor customer service. Don’t waste your time with this dealership! I will be contacting Dodge to inform them that this dealership has no interest in moving stock from their lot! More
We bought our used Jeep Cherokee and experienced every stereotypical thing you can think of. Sat in the sales agent’s office for an ungodly amount of time until we were about to walk out and then magical stereotypical thing you can think of. Sat in the sales agent’s office for an ungodly amount of time until we were about to walk out and then magically the finance paperwork was done and we were rushed through it not giving us time to look or read it. I was promised 3 free oil changes for my wait and those were never put in Jeep system. My car was advertised as having navigation and it did not have it installed so I was told that an Apple CarPlay module was ordered and would be overnight shipped to me… that was 2 months ago and now the sales agent has ghosted me. DON’T GO THERE!!! LIES UPON LIES!!! More
Utterly appalled by this company. I'm a long time lease customer, and today i went up there for an oil change. While i was waiting i saw the general manager berate, threaten, and swear at a very young employee. I was floored. I'm sure there are two sides to this story, but i cannot imagine any excuse to treat a person so abusively. I will be returning my car the day my lease is up, and taking my business elsewhere. The way a company treats their staff is far more indicative of their ethics than the selling or leasing process. If they care so little for someone who they see every day, I can't imagine how little they must care for their customers. More
I hate buying a new car. Hate the phony sales pitch, hate being treated like a i don't know what i'm talking about or want because I am a woman, and wish they'd just tell me Hate the phony sales pitch, hate being treated like a i don't know what i'm talking about or want because I am a woman, and wish they'd just tell me the price instead of all the "let me see what I can do" rigamarole. I usually take my husband with me but i needed to buy a new car stat after my old one conked out on me. I drove almost an hour out of my way to look at a car because this was the closest dealership that had one i liked. I wasn't there for 5 minutes before i was approached. I tried to say i was just looking and would let them know if i needed help. They wouldn't leave me alone. Explained what I was there for and immediately was told they had a better car for me. Uh, no. I know what i want, thank you. Everytime i asked about the car, they tried to railroad me into looking at something else. Finally put my foot down and was told the car i wanted was being held for a pending purchase. Why not just tell me that from the start?! I agreed to take a look at a different model. It was too small for my needs and i hated the interior. He made a joke about women buying cars. As if that wasn't insulting enough, the guy put his hand on my shoulder and tried to steer me towards another car. It made me extremely uncomfortable- i explained once more that I was there only to see the car i saw online, but they just kept pushing me to buy the small one. When he asked a serviceman for the keys he made a joke about my choosing a car based on color. That was the last straw. I said I was good and took his card out of politeness because I just wanted to get away from him. As i started to leave he said you'll be back when you realize you don't know enough about cars to know what you need. Um, what? I don't know what school of douchebaggery these guys went to, but wow. Just wow. Hard to believe in this day and age people like this still exist. It's not 1950 and misogyny has no place in a sales pitch. Ladies, if you're looking for a car go somewhere that knows your value as a customer and doesn't think your place is in the kitchen. More
I visited the Ed Tomko dealership on Thursday 6/16/2022 and this actually starts well before the visit, I filled out the prequalification for Capital One and I immediately received a phone call from Mike t and this actually starts well before the visit, I filled out the prequalification for Capital One and I immediately received a phone call from Mike the manager, we talked about two different Jeep wranglers and I was prequalified for one of the Jeeps and we agreed to meet on the above date. At about 4:30 pm on the day of the visit, Mike called me to tell me that the first jeep was sold, I thought that was kinda strange as if you want a buyer to come in why call and tell them that the Jeep was sold, he asked me on the phone if I was going to buy that night, (again Strange) I arrived and we shook hands and I filled out the Credit app and I went to the rest room, didn't show me the Jeep, no test drive, I came back and he told me that I would have to wait a year to be financed by Cap One, I was Pre qualified to 50,800 dollars, he didn't even get up to shake my hand and say thanks for coming in Etc. instead stayed sitting down at his seat and said bye, I checked and they never had my credit ran by Cap One, please do not go to this dealership, very rude... I worked with Jarrol and have nothing but good things to say. He was very responsive and easy to work with. I just want to express my gratitude for Ed tomko and for jerroll walker for helping me get into a better situation with a vehicle. I felt like the whole process was honestly the complete opposite of the no jerroll walker for helping me get into a better situation with a vehicle. I felt like the whole process was honestly the complete opposite of the normal dealership experience and nightmare. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle. You are prioritized instead of feeling as if your just a sale. I appreciate everything they did for me. More
