Great Mopar experience at Ed Tomko's. This is a copy of the email I sent them the next morning after I bought my brand new 2014 Dodge Challenger R/T Plus off of them. "Id like to take the time to thank you guys in helping with the purchase of my 2014 Challenger R/T last night. I'm confident I got the best deal possible working with Jerrol Walker and an awesome interest rate to go along with it. We were very rushed last night but I want to make sure you guys know how excited and blown away I was when Jerrol handed me all the build sheets and shipping invoices for my car. Amazing I dont believe we even discussed that Im a diehard Mopar guy and something like that was going to mean so much to me. Nowadays most people trade a car back in every two or three years. I have every intention of having this car for decades to come. To assure you that I greatly appreciate the paperwork I was given know I still have the buildsheet from my very first Mopar I ever bought in 1985 at the age of 13 with every saved dollar I could find and put away. Of course it was a pretty sad looking car but it was a Plum Crazy 1970 Dodge Charger 440 R/T. Once again thank you very much. Scott Beagle" More
loved my saleman Jerrol My husband and I were not sure if we wanted to purchase a new Caravan.. But after visiting Ed Tomko in Avon Lake and hooking up with Jerrol Walker.. W My husband and I were not sure if we wanted to purchase a new Caravan.. But after visiting Ed Tomko in Avon Lake and hooking up with Jerrol Walker.. We are so glad we did! What brought us to this dealership was their sales ad in the Chronicle Telegram. My husband was drawn to the Price. So, we took a drive from Grafton to check it out. Once we got there, we came across a very smiley, energetic Salesman..walking on the sale floor( and was obviously busy) that took time to stop and greet us! Who was Jerrol Walker :) He met all our needs by asking alot of questions and respecting our concerns re: our preset budget on a monthly payment we wanted, option desires on vehicle. He also addressed MY big one request , that I wanted a overhead DVD player for my 2yr old. So he gave information to me on Electra Sound, the only company He works with for auto electronics, to purchase and have it installed. I am very happy with that business as well, I spoke with Debbie there. She also met ALL MY needs & concerns. Let's face it. In today's world it's about costomer perception & service. Anyone can offer a product or service but most people want to know they are important! I Am so happy/glad with our expirence and would offer these two companies to ANYONE ! Thanks so much, Shelly White More
2002 ram 1500 the brain of the truck burned out not surprising considering it's age but, the truck was taken to ed tomko I thought being a dealer they knew what they were doing I was wrong. They chang surprising considering it's age but, the truck was taken to ed tomko I thought being a dealer they knew what they were doing I was wrong. They changed the module and re programmed it with the data but when the truck was finished and I came to pick it up the abs light was on and flashing and dinging which it never did before it arrived. I needed the truck for work right away they said they did not have time to fix it at the time and bring it back at a later date. I came back to here nothing but excuses about why it's on and if I wanted it fixed I would have to pay them more money. I already spent 1300.00 already for their crap job. Long story short if you want a good quality job find someone else. More
I purchased the 2014 Dodge Ram. I would like to go into a little more detail of my experience at the Avon Lake location. The moment I pulled into their dealership, The sales rep I made the appointment with, little more detail of my experience at the Avon Lake location. The moment I pulled into their dealership, The sales rep I made the appointment with, Jerrol came outside to greet me. He was extremely professional and always made sure that I had my coffee refilled and that my wait time, if any, was comfortable during the whole process. He answered all of my questions and was very patient with me. When everything was signed and done he even helped me clear out my Benz and move everything to my new truck even though their building was closed for the day. Meaning he went over and beyond and I truly will remember this purchase and my experience at the Avon Lake dealership because of their Sales Consultant, Jerrol Walker. And by the way...I LOVE my new purchase!! Thank you Ed Tomko Team!! More
We went in looking at a slightly used vehicle, told them our budget and range and they said we were right in the ballpark for the cost of the car. We go in the next day to negotiate and once they came back our budget and range and they said we were right in the ballpark for the cost of the car. We go in the next day to negotiate and once they came back with numbers we didnt want to settle on, they immediately changed their attitudes and were very nasty and unfriendly with us. I could never imagine going back there or recommending this place to other people, complete and utter disrespect for a potential buyer, we ended up going to Spiterz Northfield and had a wonder experience. STAY AWAY FROM ED TOMKO! More
I have never written a review before, but I feel compelled to let everyone know to stay away from this dealership. For me, this comes down to principal. I contacted the dealership and spoke with Mik compelled to let everyone know to stay away from this dealership. For me, this comes down to principal. I contacted the dealership and spoke with Mike Ferguson. After going back and forth over the phone to make a deal....I drove 2 hours to pick a 2012 Kia Soul !. (I thought I was getting a fantastic deal...that was the reason for the drive). He could not tell me much about the car because he is not a Kia dealer. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn’t a salesman know what he is selling? Ok, so I went for the test drive....it drove fine.....brought is back and I questioned where the sunroof was??? He said I don’t know. He said he is not responsible for what was on the internet....the VIN # is entered and the info is filled in from there. I signed the papers anyways. (MY FAULT!) When I brought the car to show my husband, he notice right off the bat that this was not an exclaim. The following day I went to a Kia dealership and asked them to run the VIN #.....it clearly came back as a +. Ed Tomko clearly advertised and sold me the wrong car. I of course called to complain....spoke with Mike and Paul Tomko. The features listed on the internet were not for the correct trim model. He said they are not responsible for the information that is listed ont he internet....b***s***! Somebody should be! He simple told me to bring it back....I just wanted my down payment back. (which wasn’t very much) I thought that was fair as it was missing about 2500.00 worth of upgrades. He said he couldn’t do that. To me, this is ALL bad business and no wonder why they have the reputation that they do. Had Paul said, look...I only made 800.00 on the deal, I'll split it with you for your inconvenience...I probably would have been happy. However, he said bring it back, "I'll sell it to someone else". I said, "are you going to change the advertisement to a +." He said, "it’ll sell it to someone." They knew they falsely advertised the vehicle and they didn’t care what I was out. They didn’t care the time that I put into the deal. And the certainly didn’t care about doing the right thing. I was willing to compromise! Buyer Be Aware! More
From the moment we arrived at Ed Tomko Chrysler, Inc, we were welcomed warmly. We have been to many dealerships in the area in the past few weeks. None of them compared to the service and quaility we got were welcomed warmly. We have been to many dealerships in the area in the past few weeks. None of them compared to the service and quaility we got here. We met Paul and told him our exact budget and what our goals and preferences were. Right away he plugged in our numbers to see what we could get for the monthly amount we were willing to pay. He showed us everything that fell into that range. We knew we had to wait a week for our house sale to close to have our down payment money, and he was very understanding and polite. We returned within a week and had narrowed it down between two vehicles. We talked extensively with Paul about both and we drove both over a variety of road conditions. He is extremely knowledgeable of all the vehicles they have for sale. We have bought many cars, mainly Ford because we have the A plan, but we are so happy with our Chrysler. This was the absolute best car buying experience we have ever had. We cannot say enough good things about this dealership or our salesman. We highly recommend this dealership! More

We had a Jeep Grand Cherokee in which both key fobs went bad. They replaced one in January under warranty, but the other was on back ordered. The new fob came in March, however the car had exceeded 36,000 m bad. They replaced one in January under warranty, but the other was on back ordered. The new fob came in March, however the car had exceeded 36,000 miles by that time, and as they claim now out of warranty. When we went in, they wanted $200 for the fob, but what made things worse was their mean and rude demeanor. Not happy with this, I called Bruinswick Auto Mart/Ed Seifert where we purchased the Jeep and they not only took care of the problem, but offered us a new lease on a new 2014 Jeep with more options for the same monthly payment. I feel it is important to note, that this is our 15th Jeep, and we have never had any service problems with the ones before this point. We called and spoke to the sales manager at Ed Tomco to try and reason with them regarding the problem, and as well noted we have two Jeeps that their lease expires this year. He flat out told me they did not want our business. It was a strange, bizarre and all-around awful experience at Ed Tomco. Even though they are 3 miles down the road from us, we will never, ever return. More
Quoted me a price of 89.95 for transfer case drain and refill then came back and wanted to charge me 149.95. We ended up paying 129.95. The salesman told me that his boss was mad due to the fact that we o refill then came back and wanted to charge me 149.95. We ended up paying 129.95. The salesman told me that his boss was mad due to the fact that we owned four Jeeps and did not purchase any of them from their dealership. I was told that I could not test drive vehicles due to the bosses anger with me. They are arrogant and unprofessional certainly could not recommend them to anyone. More
