Made appointment to get my drivers window replaced due to scratches caused by a wire harness in door. Service lady said at 24,000 miles the 18 bolt is out of warranty. I said no problem I bought the extende scratches caused by a wire harness in door. Service lady said at 24,000 miles the 18 bolt is out of warranty. I said no problem I bought the extended warranty. She said that won’t cover windows. I said no problem I have full glass coverage. . I showed her the scratches and said it’s hard to see right here because the car was soaking wet from days of rain. . I waited there for two hours then the service lady said your all set. It will be $60. I said is it all fixed. She said the tech wiped off the rubber molding and guessed a piece of dirt caused the scratches. I said did they replace my window. , she said oh no we don’t have window glass here that has to be ordered for several hundred dollars. I said why did I come here then . I made the appointment to have the window replaced, nothing was done after 2 hrs and you want $60. She said let me go talk to the manager. That’s what I hear every time I’ve had a problem. “ let me go talk to the manager “ because she’s not allowed to make any decisions on her own. I have reluctantly brought my two Bolts to this dealership because it’s the only Bolt dealer for 100 miles. . Now they are out of warranty, I don’t ever want to set foot in this service department again. A poorly run dealership service department. Three years of terrible service including a brake xxxx for $700. I would NEVER recommend anyone do business with .Ed Shults Cadillac chevrolet of Jamestown. . More
I recently purchased a new 2019 Chevy Trail Boss and took this vehicle to Ed Shults Chevrolet for repair of two factory recalls and a leaky back window. My vehicle was returned to me with grease on the interior, a misplaced dome light, gouged interior handles, water stained headliner, and scratches to the exterior. Three attempts to correct the problem and my vehicle is now destroyed. Management took no accountability for the negligence of the repair technicians and told me that the gouges to the paint were because my vehicle is “black” and that there is no way to resolve the issue.
