First. I hate dealerships in general. The industry is bad and general sales and service tactics are horrible. All of that said i had a fair and honest sale I hate dealerships in general. I went in for oil change and a recall item. I suppose the work was doneā¦ i never got a receipt. I got a text later telling r my pats were now in and i missed my appointment. I feel good that the pool was changed but have little faith that the recall but was complete. I like them but you really have to stay on them More
Let me start out by saying I have never written a bad review and have taken my vehicles to Ed Murdock for some time. This time however when I took my vehicle in I had to deal with Brad. First off he was review and have taken my vehicles to Ed Murdock for some time. This time however when I took my vehicle in I had to deal with Brad. First off he was nice and friendly, he did not introduce himself but he was efficient. I told him what happened with my vehicle which was this: My daughter stated the ABS light had been flashing on and off. So I took it for a drive. While driving my vehicle the ABS light was off at which point I heard a grinding noise, followed by ticking and the the steering wheel went loose and I couldnāt steer my vehicle and the brakes went to the floor. Second my transmission has an issue with hesitation when going up hills. Itās done this before and the service department fixed it by reprogramming the trans module. Brad said he understood and took the vehicle in. Brad did stay in touch with me and called about 11:30 that morning. Brad stated that my trans pan was leaking and the wheel Speed sensor went out which caused the ABS light to come on causing my issue. I asked at that time if that would cause the steering to go out and he said yes. Having been in the automotive industry for about 12 years I questioned him again and he stated again yes. I even went as far as calling him back around 1 pm same day and explaining again why I was concerned and that I was just making sure he understood I had no steering as well and that needed to be checked. He assured me it would be. So Brad calls and says the vehicle is done and ready for pickup and I explain I will have to come in the morning. So I get there at 8am and Brad directs me to the cashier. I go see her and she tells me the bill and we get that straight and I look at the the service bill and notice nothing is as I stated to Brad and the only thing they recommend for the steering is tires and alignment (which I was already aware and had an appointment to get them at my old job). I ask Brad why it says tires and alignment when it was like my master cylinder went out since I had absolutely no steering and he stated that I needed tires and alignment. I tell him thatās not right and I did not want to pay another deductible for something I asked them to check under this service and he was dismissive. Then Brad said what would you like me to do? I said again Brad Iād like you to tell me he looked at the steering and it safe for my 16 year old daughter to drive can you tell me that? He stated he canāt guarantee anything and said thank you and walk off dismissing me altogether and yelling Thank you while waking away. He actually yelled thank you 3 separate times while I was speaking to my husband who was with me about what to do. To say the least I still donāt know if my vehicle is safe to drive and I donāt believe I will ever go back and I donāt recommend Brad to help anyone. I did drop my car off at a different service center so the steering could actually be checked out though so I know my child will be safe. Ed Murdock used to be a great place to go. I hope and pray they figure things out and we will be able to go back. More
My husband called 2 weeks ago to make an appointment to bring his truck in for numerous recalls and the check engine light. He was told to bring it in on Monday morning - he had it there as soon as they o bring his truck in for numerous recalls and the check engine light. He called on Tuesday afternoon about picking it up and was told they had not touched it but would do so first thing Wednesday. I called late Wednesday and was told they hadn't touched it but would run diagnostic on it Thursday and he really couldn't say when they would actually work on it. Joshua "bragged" that he had trucks sitting there for 4 weeks that hadn't been touched. I explained that this is his work truck and he needed it to use not just sit on their lot. I politely told him that this was some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered. AVOID their service department. We have obviously bought our last (expensive) vehicle there if this is the level of service to be expected. More

I purchased my Challenger from Andy Owen. From the time we took it out for a test drive until it was delivered to my house was less than 2 hours. I always dread dealing with car dealerships, but my experience at Murdocks was great. I was greeted by Mr. Patrick, who was very professional and helpful. The entire process was easy and we were made t experience at Murdocks was great. I was greeted by Mr. Patrick, who was very professional and helpful. The entire process was easy and we were made to feel welcome. He answered all of our questions up front and even offered to let us take it overnight to make sure we liked the car. We will definitely be back for any future purchases. More
