Stay away from this dealership and their service department This is yet another horrible dealership, along with many others on that strip of Federal Highway in Delray Beach. Other horrible ones nearby are are Grecio Kia / Mazda and Delray Honda. We had problems with Ed Morse Toyota from day one. We had already test drove the car we wanted at another dealership. When we went to Ed Morse, the salesman demanded that we had to test drive his car. We told him we were there to price the car and nothing else for now. He kept demanding we drive it. We walked out. I called the dealership back and spoke with some manager, telling him that if we don't get another salesman, we would never return. He gave us someone else, and we warned him about telling us what to do. We wound up buying the car that day. Now for the horrible service dept.. We have taken our car 3 times for the promised inspections and oil changes. Every time it's the same nonsense, and we've had 3 different service advisors. We leave the car there between 7 - 7 :15 AM, and they never get back to us until late in the afternoon, after 4 PM. It doesn't take that long to inspect the car and change the oil. There has never been any repairs done. We tell the service advisor to call us when the car is done. The service advisors are one lazy fool after another, that don't bother to call you when the car is finished, and when you call them during the day, they don't pick up their desk or cellphones, and don't call back until after 4 PM, which puts us in rush hour to pick up the car. We've had 3 different idiots that have done this to us. Then we find out that the car was ready before 12 PM ! The other day was the last straw for them. We dropped off the car at 7:15 AM, there were only 4 cars ahead of us. As usual we told the service advisor to call us when the car is done. At 1:23 PM I called her, a woman named Casey, and she didn't pick up her desk phone. I called her cellphone, and she didn't answer that either. At 2 :15 PM I called asking for the service manager, and of course he did not pick up either. He never called back ! At 3 :20 PM I called asking for the general manager, and of course was told he was not there. Then the receptionist transfers me to the customer service manager, and of course she didn't answer her phone and never called me back ! It's like a disease of incompetency there. The service advisors all have business cards with their desk phone and cell phone numbers, and they never answer them. At 4 PM the service advisor ( they have fancy names for all these lazy fools ) calls me to tell me that my car was ready. I asked her why it took so long to return my call from 1:23 PM. She claimed she was " backed up." Then she lies, telling me that she called me and left me a message at 10 :30 AM that the car was done. I never go a call from her. I looked at the service ticket and she had the right phone number. She never called me, and waited until 4 PM to call me 5 1/2 hours after the car was done. And the service and customer service managers ? They never called me back. Disgusting. If you called there asking to buy a car, they would be calling you back every day for months torturing you to buy a car, but after you buy it, this is the nonsense you have to put up with with that horrible service dept. Casey told us the car would be washed as well. When we brought it in there were multiple bird xxxxxxon the hood. When we picked it up, half of then were still there. Who washed this car, and who inspected it ? In short, stay away from this dealership. I have bought 3 cars in the past 10 years from dealerships very far away from SE Florida - Fort Myers, Orlando, Lake Mary. There's a different breed of people working there. There are nice, honest, and don't play the games that the dealers in SE Florida play. More
