Our salesman (Sam Truzzo) was one of the most helpful salesmen we have ever worked with! He was fun and happy and clearly trying to get us the best possible deal for our money. We were there for several salesmen we have ever worked with! He was fun and happy and clearly trying to get us the best possible deal for our money. We were there for several hours and he never acted as though we were a nuisance or keeping him from other work. He, and all of the other staff we met were wonderful help to us. More
I had an excellent purchasing experience at Ed Martin Honda. I had purchased a vehicle there 20 years ago, and returned looking to purchase a reliable used Honda. But I was given such an excellent price and financing on a new Odyssey minivan, I could not pass it up. I was treated with respect and friendliness every step of the way. The only complaint I had was a longer than expected wait to sign my financing papers. But the dealership was very busy that Saturday afternoon. I appreciated the time of my salesperson and finance manager who stayed after hours to complete my purchase. More
Not only did I get excellent customer service from the guys at Ed Martin Honda, but they gave me an offer on my 2013 Honda Civic LX that nobody in Indy could beat. I did the research. I shopped around - guys at Ed Martin Honda, but they gave me an offer on my 2013 Honda Civic LX that nobody in Indy could beat. I did the research. I shopped around - not just Honda, but Toyota, Nissan, and Ford. I gave them all the opportunity to beat Ed Martin's offer, but nobody could touch it. I'm a 39-year old woman, and I'm used to not getting much credit for knowing anything about cars from car salesmen. But Stephen, Steve and KC treated me with respect. I would absolutely recommend anyone to the guys at Ed Martin for your next car. They really cannot be beat. More

My wife and I saw a Mercedes Benz at Ed Martin Toyota in Anderson and we asked Sam to have it brought to the Ed Martin Honda location on Shadeland. We were actually looking at a Pontiac Grand Prix for our Anderson and we asked Sam to have it brought to the Ed Martin Honda location on Shadeland. We were actually looking at a Pontiac Grand Prix for our son and toyed with the idea of trading in my wife's 2005 Equinox on 2 cars. Sam was able to get the Mercedes there and we ended up buying and financing both cars that same day. In by 5 and out by 7 with two cars. The entire experience was the best car buying experience ever for my wife and I. It was the first time that we bought used cars too. The finance Manager Shelly was awesome. Everyone was great. When I read some of the other reviews here, I wonder if some of these people were writing about the same dealership. Ed Martin Honda ROCKS! More
Very very bad experience. DO NOT GO THERE. I was Very very bad experience. DO NOT GO THERE. I was there to buy a certified car. The very first car he showed me was nice. When I started driving it Very very bad experience. DO NOT GO THERE. I was there to buy a certified car. The very first car he showed me was nice. When I started driving it made a dangerous-sounding noise while applying brakes. I asked him why and he replied that it is normal for every car. The passenger side seatbelt wasn't working properly. Then after I was looking at other certified cars in parking lot, I saw one similar model of the same year in a different color only with higher mileage. I asked him about why that car was priced $ 1800 higher than one I drove before. He said because the seat belts are working (Not a funny joke). After I gave him a little consolation laugh, he still wouldn't give me a straight answer. He gave me some weird reason about inventory moving every 6 days. I asked him if it would be $1800 cheaper in 6 days, and he said maybe. Then he showed me another car of lesser value which had dents (which, again, they wouldn't fix) and it was not even clean. It hadn't even been vacuumed and was full of cigarette ashes. He wasn't even willing to talk about negotiating the price. Basically, the salespeople there have almost no knowledge about the cars they are attempting to sell and absolutely no respect for their customers. I have been shopping around at used cars a great deal lately, and this was by far the worst experience I've had at any dealer. More
I purchased a certified used Honda Civic Coupe EX and I love it!! I detest the usual salesman "BS" so was not looking forward to that part. Fortunately, I got exactly what I didn't expect. Karl was awes love it!! I detest the usual salesman "BS" so was not looking forward to that part. Fortunately, I got exactly what I didn't expect. Karl was awesome and made the whole experience a pleasure! I HIGHLY recommend dealing with him! Since I didn't NEED a car, I had the luxury of "walking" but that wasn't necessary because Karl was so laid back and pleasant and he is absolutely a big part of making this purchase. I got a great deal. The day after I purchased my car, I discovered the car mats were not Honda mats and not suitable. (When we left the dealership it was dark and pouring rain and Karl drove my "new" car home.) I called Karl and requested new Honda mats since I'm driving a certified Honda. No problem - he called back and my new mats will be in this week. I am still amazed at how pleasant my experience was with Ed Martin Honda! More
BE PREPARED TO BE DISAPPOINTED (OR FLAT OUT LIED TO)I arrived with a written quote from them in one hand and money in the other hand only to be told that the WRITTEN price quote from them would not be ho arrived with a written quote from them in one hand and money in the other hand only to be told that the WRITTEN price quote from them would not be honored because the manager who had authorized it was not in that day. But of course they would be more than happy to get me in my new car for $3000 OVER the price they had previously quoted. Needless to say, I turned and walked away...absolutley ridiculous. A written offer....a written offer on their business head...Don't waste your time at this dealership! More
A horrible experience. I went to Ed Martin interested in a specific car, but I chose the dealership because it seemed like a lot of cars in their inventory would fit what I was looking for. The salesperson only seemed interested in showing me that one car and tried to get me to sign a sales agreement after five minutes. I walked away. More
Went to look at used cars. Had done a lot of research on 2010-11 CR-V's and saw two I was interested in. At first it was ok. Test drove and asked some questions to which some of the answers turned out to be 2010-11 CR-V's and saw two I was interested in. At first it was ok. Test drove and asked some questions to which some of the answers turned out to be incorrect. Did something I don't usually do and made an offer on one of the vehicles without sleeping on it. That's when it got fun. Charlie left for about ten minutes and came back with the used car sales manager. I was told that the price was the price and that he would "uncertify" it and save me maybe $300. Just tried talking to him. He asked "Why I wasn't at the other dealer if they had a better deal". Also said I was looking at an Equinox. He laughed and said good luck with that. His demeanor was hostile at best. Charlie followed us out and continued telling me that I didn't know what I was doing. Talking so fast I couldn't get a single word in. Finally had to reach out my hand to shake his and said "That's it. Thank you for your time" I will not be going to any Ed Martin dealerships ever again. More
