Do not trust Ed Koehler Chevrolet! They swap used cars between their dealerships to hide the fact that they have been in accidents and have had work done. My sales guy, Grant Boven, as They swap used cars between their dealerships to hide the fact that they have been in accidents and have had work done. My sales guy, Grant Boven, assured me that no powertrain work had been done by Ed Koehler on the vehicle I was purchasing. However, I later discovered that their Greenville location had performed extensive transmission work. A local shop informed me that my transmission looked new but poorly done, with bolts missing. When I confronted Ed Koehler Chevrolet, they admitted that their Greenville location had worked on the transmission. They took the car in for repair, but after weeks without it, a transmission mount bolt fell out just days after I got it back. When I returned to Ed Koehler Chevrolet, they told me it was my problem and refused to do anything further to fix it. This is the first time I’ve ever left a negative review for a company, but this experience was unacceptable. More

Originally purchased a 2017 jeep grand cherokee from Ed koehn on 10/31/22. Took ownership, signed my trade paperwork and financing and left. 2 months later I get told they messed up the financing and that koehn on 10/31/22. Took ownership, signed my trade paperwork and financing and left. 2 months later I get told they messed up the financing and that they were unable to secure the loan and that we needed to return the jeep or face grand theft auto charges. December 17th we returned with the vehicle and the owner said he did us a favor and got us financed through new york prime. However they failed to mention that's in hour financing and in turn charging us almost a 28% interest rate and over 720 per month for 72 months for a 2017 jeep with 92K miles on it. I contacted the original financing because the dealer said they didn't approve terms, however they told me everything was good to go however the dealer never sent over the paperwork. Now I am having to voluntarily give the jeep back due to the cost per month, lack of warranty we asked to add in because we have "equity". They wish. Horrible dealer and finance company. Stay away from Ed koehn at all costs. Far better dealerships around to purchase through with far better customer service. Now I'm out two vehicles because of their bait and switch for finance to keep money in their pockets. NYP is owned by Aaron koehn. Also all 3 people we originally work with have quit so now e has any record of our jeep purchase. More
I purchased a $38k mistake on August 13, I had it for a day and a half before bringing it back with a list of issues. They had the vehicle for almost two months. One week after purchasing the vehicle, my day and a half before bringing it back with a list of issues. They had the vehicle for almost two months. One week after purchasing the vehicle, my salesman called me and asked for my social security number over the phone because he did not get all of the information he needed, this alone seems kind of shady to me. When the vehicle was returned to me finally on 9/21, a lot on the list was not completed. I was also informed I had a $500 deductible, although I was told it was a $100 deductible that vanished if I brought the car to them for service. I argued that I only had the almost $40k car for a day and a half and it was a bit ridiculous, but it got me nowhere. I paid the $500 to get my car back. I was asked to bring it back the following Monday 10/10 and the work they missed could be completed in a few hours - minus the cracked moonroof I didn't notice at purchase - They were yet to give me an answer on if my warranty would cover that. I brought it back at 12:30pm on 10/10 as we scheduled. I was told they weren't sure if it would be able to be completed that day or not and they would give me a call as soon as they found out. I did not receive a call and my car was not completed. At almost 1:30pm the next day, I received a call that my car would again not be completed that day. I was told if I can get a ride to Rockford (I live in Wyoming) they would give me a loaner. I was able to pick up the loaner - thankfully, because the following day I was informed (only after calling) that my car would not be completed again. I was told they were going to keep it an extra day, but that would ensure they had time to detail and buff out scratches that were agreed upon at purchase that had not been done yet. Four days after dropping the car off for what I was told was a few hour job I finally went to pick it back up… and it wasn’t done. Thankfully it was only half an hour wait until it was(ish). When they brought my car out I didn’t even bother looking at it because I knew it wasn’t done. The scratches on the paint they put some wax on and didn’t even bother wiping off completely. They vacuumed the front and back seat, the trunk space is still full of animal fur from the previous owner. There was still food stuck inside the cup holders, dirt all over the dash and the windows were still filthy. Being dirty woudn't have bothered me so much if they hadn't kept it an extra day just to clean it. I have found more issues since I received the car back, but it is not worth bringing it back to them for service. I'll find another dealer. I have kept track of all communications with them over the last two months. I was going to paste it, but Google says it's too long. (I'll share if you want it!) The only time I would ever receive an update was if I called. The only reason I am giving two stars rather than one is because they at least did keep me in a loaner vehicle. 10/10 would not recommend this dealer ever. More

My salesperson Sam Neymeiyer is a sales person I would recommend to buy a vehicle from. His knowledge of the car we wanted to buy was excellent. We were in with the old and out with the new in a very short line. Thanks for the buying experience. More
I had an appointment to get my car serviced at 9AM Monday morning. they took my car in right away and in about twenty or thirty minutes came out and told me what the problem was and that they had the part t morning. they took my car in right away and in about twenty or thirty minutes came out and told me what the problem was and that they had the part to fix it. Told me that it would be about an hour and a half and asked if I planned to wait for it. I told them yes I would. At ten AM they came out with the keys and said That I was all set. I went to the window and paid my bill. After getting home and looking more closely at the bill I noticed that I was charged $287.92 for labor. Also on the bill it stated that their labor rate is $115.00 per hour. My car was in the service area for one hour give or take five minutes yet I was charged $287.92 for labor! That is two and a half times their stated rate of $115.00 per hour on the invoice. When I called and asked about it I was told that the "company" allowed X number of time for each procedure/part that they replace and that is how they come up with the labor amount no mater what the actual time is. It seems very deceptive to me that their labor rate is published on their invoice but then bill you from a different scale. Feeling a little "taken". More
DAVID SIMON!!!! Need help getting a car? Second time in less than 2 years, and this guy comes through again! Last time I told him a buy from him no matter where he worked. He's been there a long time app less than 2 years, and this guy comes through again! Last time I told him a buy from him no matter where he worked. He's been there a long time apparently. As naive as it sounds, and here it's not, he is like a long lost brother. His follow up is great. I reach out to check in as much as he does. Quality person. HIGHLY recommend! More
While purchasing my brand new Silverado 4x4 LTZ and due to being retired I stupidly agreed to purchase the CUSTOM EDGE extended warranty from and thru Ed Koehn at the bargain price of $1726.00 to reduce my to being retired I stupidly agreed to purchase the CUSTOM EDGE extended warranty from and thru Ed Koehn at the bargain price of $1726.00 to reduce my exposure to any potential future repairs Today my truck has 86k miles and severe lifter noise They say I’m out of warranty!! The extended package above is called the ULTIMATE WRAP covers up to 100,000 odometer miles per my contract. Not only will Ed Koehn do NOTHING, I’ve called spoke to Keith & Stephanie left 5 separate messages requesting the GM please call to discuss this oversight, not only have I not been contacted but Stephanie even told me the GM is very busy. I always thought it was better to keep a customer, than try to replace him!! Bottom line Ed Koehn extended warranty is a SCAM and customer relations are Nonexistent More

The last visit was to replace the step bars that have began to flake. While I was there, I asked to top off DEF and coolant as I was getting a message that coolant was low (I had also noticed some coolant leaking onto my garage floor). After waiting there for 2.5 hours, I was told that they ordered the incorrect step bars. They advised that they would order the correct one's and that they topped off all the fluids, although they were UNABLE to find any coolant leaking issues. The following week I was checking some things under the hood and found where they had spilled DEF ALL OVER the inside of the engine compartment and didn't have the COURTESY to clean it up. This is the LAST straw with this dealership. I called them and told them to cancel the order and went to another dealership. I would NOT recommend anyone EVER goes to this Ed Koehn Chevy in Rockford, MI again. If your looking for sales or service, I would CERTAINLY look elsewhere. I intend to file complaints with GM as well! Joe Poirier - Sparta, MI More
