Not worth your time I recently had a repossession and I needed a car right away for work. Other places wanted more of a down payment than I had that day. However, Econo Auto Sales said they could probably work with me after I explained my situation on the phone. After I arrived, I did paperwork for almost an hour. This was also while they were arguing with another gentleman about his payments as he was upset that his car broke down and couldn't afford both the repairs and payments to them both. Once I was almost finished with my paperwork, I was asked if I wanted to see my new car. I was very confused as I didn't speak to them about a car, and I hadn't looked at any of their cars. Not having a lot of options, I decided to test drive the car. However, it was in poor condition. There was a lot of damage to the interior, several lights were on, the seals of the car were held together with duct tape, the car stereo was missing, and it didn't run very well in general. I informed the salesman that there were lights on in the car stating it needed work, to which he responded it just needed coolant added (which may have been true, but would not have improved the condition of the car. Also, why wouldn't they have done this already?) I had to ask him the price of the car several times. Finally after being in the car twice and sitting down with him to do paper work, he told me they were charging a little over $5000. I let him know I wasn't interested in the car as that was way too much, and I didn't really want it anyways since it seemed like it would break down right away. He was very agitated and aggressive then. It basically got to the point where I had to tell him I wasn't going to do business with them even if it meant I didn't get a car and left. I tried to pull up the value of the car, which I couldn't do because it was in bad shape. A similar car in much better condition valued at $900. Don't buy from this dealership unless you are willing to pay over 5 times the value of the car and are willing to deal with awful customer service. As a side note, I met with an attorney about possible other financial options I had to get me back on my feet. He referred to me a reputable dealership, and I will be getting a used car in great shape or possibly a cheaper new car from them. More
