If they had negative stars i would have chosen that. Dropped my car off in perfect working order for an oil change, wiperblades and a few recalls . After a week of them not being able to figure out what happened i got a 3000$ repair bill… seeing how one of the recalls involved the electrical system i refused to pay. Again there was nothing wrong when I dropped it off. The next day they tell me their parts employee took the dash cluster apart and cleaned it and now its working fine. I spoke with the gm jeff eckert to let him know what i was dealing with and i was treated horribly, couldnt listen to me for five minutes. Very unprofessional. After taking the car, the next day it goes out again 40 miles from home. I took it to christian brothers automotive and in one day they figure out the problem and also find that eckert didnt even tighten my drain plug from the oil change . What a joke of a service department. Under no circumstances should anyone ever go here for service or to purchase a car. More
Bought a used Chevy Silverado there and it was the biggest mistake as far as buying a vehicle. I only had it one week because I had to take it back in to get it looked at because it was skipping ever biggest mistake as far as buying a vehicle. I only had it one week because I had to take it back in to get it looked at because it was skipping every time a gave it gas. I haven’t driven in two months because they couldn’t figure out the warranty, who would fix it and how they would pay for it to get it fixed. So I haven’t had it since February 22, 2025 and it’s April 15, 2025 today. And now they want me to come out of pocket for recommendations on top of the main issue. That will be the last time I go Eckert Hyundai in Denton. More
Crooks! They tried to charge me $1500 to fix oil leaking issue that was clearly covered under the 100,000 mile warranty. My car has 38,000 miles! I would highly recommend to take your business somewhere else as my experience at this dealership today was very negative. I wasn't able to obtain the salesmen's name (I believe it was Thomas Barham or Tomm else as my experience at this dealership today was very negative. I wasn't able to obtain the salesmen's name (I believe it was Thomas Barham or Tommy), but he's an older "gentlemen" who had trouble to communicate with us in a respectful manner. The negotiation process of the sale didn't end up meeting in neither favor, and in the process we said that the numbers "Weren't in our budget" and the "gentlemen" replied in a very aggressive tone saying "If it's out of budget why would you come in to begin with." As a car salesmen how could you talk to a customer who is bringing you business like that. The manager Mike came to talk to us after the altercation and excused the gentlemen's behavior by stating that he is old and has medical and mental problems. Under no circumstance should that kind of behavior as a salesmen be excused or tolerated. I would highly advise anybody looking to buy from this dealership to take your business elsewhere. The "gentlemen's" desk is the middle desk on the right side from the front doors of the dealership as of today 10/05/2024. More

The experience was pleasant and reasonably quick with absolutely everyone at the dealership making us feel at home. We have been dealing with Eckert from almost the beginning when they opened in Denton and will continue to come back. They do not sell you a car and forget you, they continue to help and the Service dept. is as excellent as the Sales folks. We enjoyed meeting and look forward to working with Jeremy in the future. Small dealership, which I really liked. My sales advisor, Gavin Knighton, was able to concentrate on helping me find what I wanted. This was my first experience in purchasing a new vehicl My sales advisor, Gavin Knighton, was able to concentrate on helping me find what I wanted. This was my first experience in purchasing a new vehicle. I have been stressing for weeks on this, and when I walked in there after visiting another type of dealership, he was the first person I saw. He was kind, and showed me that he cared about what I wanted. He asked me what I was looking for and what I felt I needed in a vehicle and then took me outside to show me the Tucson. He NEVER pushed me into anything I wasn’t interested in. I deliver cakes at times and so the boxes are pretty tall. My concern was finding something that would fit a tall box. When I mentioned this to Gavin, he went back into the dealership and came back with a measuring tape. He measured the back of my vehicle and measured the Tucson. We were able to see that the Tucson was a little taller. Plus, it was easier to put the box in. The sales rep at the dealership I had visited before never questioned me on my needs or wants. Even though I mentioned what I needed. Gavin was very respectful in answering all my questions. Even after I left, he never called to bug me about it, he respected me as a new car buyer. I sent him tons and tons of emails with all sorts of questions. He answered each without hesitation. If I ever purchase another vehicle, I’ll see him again. The nice surprise was that right before I left with my new beautiful car, he asked me to make a list of any questions I may have and let him know and he would be happy to help me. Gavin went over and beyond what he needed to do. More
