I was looking for a car for my daughter's surprise birthday gift and purchased from EchoPark for the first time. I was impressed with Tino Caballero and Jesse Garza's efforts. The vehicle selection process online was easy and allowed me to see they had very competitive pricing vs almost all dealerships in the Austin-Houston and surrounding areas. I was contacted very quickly, and in an organized and courteous manner, scheduled to meet with Jesse Garza. Upfront, Jesse was courteous, helpful, and walked me through the whole car buying process at Echo Park. He constantly communicated where we were in the process, was very patient in answering all my questions, and checked on me repeatedly when waiting for answers to inquiries. Tino was not your typical "finance" guy. He was patient and responsive to my questions and worked diligently to lock in the best financing/warranty option. The customer service was good. The process was pretty quick. From test drive to getting the keys was about 2 hours... Stand alone, the worst experience and communication. Tried to purchase a vehicle - was promised it was ours - then on purchase day they called and said "oops, we sold it to someone else, sorry". Kept us on the hook with that vehicle for a week (while we passed up on other comparables because we had promise to buy theirs), then kept us on the hook for another week with promises to "make it right", but ultimately were completely unwilling to make any effort to match the deal we were originally promised. Management is a joke and customer service is non-existent. Buy somewhere else. If you look you can find a better deal elsewhere from someone who actually wants to support you as a customer; not just sell you a loan with a car attached to it. More
