I didn’t care paying the extra because of the high ratings. But II would expect that they put the caps back on the brake fluid and snap down the other caps. I had to bring it back in because I couldn’t figure out where a random filter screen went to. Vita was wonderful to work with but she didn’t know where the filter went either. Eventually they figured it out. Vita said to me to bring it back if something starts to go bad. Not very comforting. The other issue is in this day of covid19 they used plastic seat and steering wheel covers and when I opened for the first time the wind blew out the plastic on me. I brought it back in the service center to the masked in employees who didn’t want to touch it. So they pointed to the garbage and to a hand cleanser . I hope they finished the work I wouldn’t know how to check. For being so highly rated there was no explanation other than what Vita said was they weren’t expecting me maybe? Yes you were they text me and said it was done. More

First service call fixed nothing but did an oil change (at 2000 miles) because I asked when first service was not that I wanted it done. Second service was for continuation of of initial software problems + taillights not working+alarm going off for no reason when car was running and standing still. Software problems finally showed a code that was fob related and supposedly those have been fixed. I was told to come back in 45 minutes (at which time the car had not even been looked at) and after getting quite annoyed, and letting them know, car was finally ready several hours later. No initial apologies for wasting day of my time; there's a reason 18 years olds should not be in service positions and when someone else finally came to apologize it was too little too late. I may go back once because I am entitled to a 6000 miles oil change under warranty (that I got at 2000 miles) and I am not sure whether another dealership will honor that. Going somewhere else is inconvenient, but so is wasting my time here. More

The guy who hel Honest, clear and proactive. Highly recommend it. My Forester had a major issue, one that would have cost me several thousand dollars. The guy who helped me, David H, engaged the dealership and pointed out that the issue was not caused by negligence on my part, but by a known flaw in production. Subaru honored the extended warranty and my part of the bil was less than a third of the total. David made the best out of a difficult situation, something rare nowadays. More

Good work It is difficult to fix a "rattle" in the dashboard area. The service technition and I took it out and he heard it. That's half the battle. They did It is difficult to fix a "rattle" in the dashboard area. The service technition and I took it out and he heard it. That's half the battle. They did fix what they thought it was and though there is still a rattle, I know that they will keep looking until the problem is solved. I love my Subaru Legacy and would recommend Eastside Subaru to anyone in the market for a car. They truly care about their customers. More
"Service" I bought 18 Forester on Jan 2018, the foam between windshield and Dashbord had been damaged in this summer because of hot weather. I brought the car I bought 18 Forester on Jan 2018, the foam between windshield and Dashbord had been damaged in this summer because of hot weather. I brought the car to dealership on the mid of July, a service man told me he would order a new part and replace it asking me to wait until it is ready. I re-visited to the dealership on Aug 13 to replace it. but they just cut and removed the old foam without replacement. I don't know whether they claimed it to manufacturer or not, but this is different from what I expected. "The dealership took care of this issue sincerely and seriously, and I believe now it happened just by mistake" More
FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE from the Service department. We bought our 2009 Outback from Eastside new. We were very happy with the process. I was driving back through Seattle and stopped in to get it service We bought our 2009 Outback from Eastside new. We were very happy with the process. I was driving back through Seattle and stopped in to get it serviced. Had some brake repair done and they checked everything. They told me that the head gaskets needed repair but they couldn't do the job because it would take too long to get the part and I needed to leave that day. They mentioned I should get it done in the next few months as it was important. When I returned to Canada I called the dealership and booked an appt. Had the work done and then the trouble began. The car started doing strange things, lagging when I'm accelerating, and huge puff of smoke coming out the back upon start up. I called the Canadian dealership back after a week because these problems had continued and now the engine light was on. In the mean time, I get a standard follow up letter from Eastside asking how my vehicle is running and I reply with the story so far. 2 minutes later I get a call from the service manager Ken who asks me what is going on. Well to make a long story short, we have been battling with Subaru USA, Subaru Canada and the dealership up here to come to some sort of equitable resolution and Ken from Eastside has been in contact with us daily. His help has been incredible. I have been truly amazed by his willingness to keep helping us out when it was not his dealership that created the problem in the first place. Where we were being stonewalled by the Canadian Dealership it was nice to know we had someone supporting us and giving us helpful information. I am only sad that we are too far to regularly have our vehicle serviced here. Eastside Service Rocks. More
