The staff at Eastern's Automotive in Temple Hills, Maryland, were very welcoming. I visited this dealership twice before I actually bought a car. My appointment was with Joel Alexis (on his day off). When I arrived, William Mitchener greeted me and sat down with me to go over what I was in the market for and started the process until Joel was able to get there. William was very friendly and I want to recognize him as well. Joel came in on his day off to help me with my purchase. He was very attentive and extremely patient with me as I was not sure if I wanted to go through with this purchase. He is the reason I ultimately bought my 2012 Ford Escape. Glenda was a very honest, helpful, concern person. She was patience with me and had a great sense of humor. Customer service from Mr. Peacock was EXCELLENT. He was extremely personable, and he listened to what we wanted. Our issue had more to do with the finance department. We were unable to complete the transaction with the salesperson without him having to run to get the okay from someone else while we waited. This happened repeatedly, requiring us to spend an entire day at the dealership. After purchase, we were called to come back in more than a week later to sign all new paperwork. It was extremely inconvenient, as we are on different schedules. We used our holiday to come purchase the car; our only day off together. However, Mr. Peacock made even this part of the experience more tolerable, having to meet with us outside of his scheduled work hours. The young lady who printed our second tag was not very polite, but she got us out of there quickly, which we could appreciate after having to come back for a third time. More
I came to Easterns Motor to see if I would be able to purchase a used car with the hope that I would actually be driving away with but I had no I idea what to expect. I initiated my inquiry online and s purchase a used car with the hope that I would actually be driving away with but I had no I idea what to expect. I initiated my inquiry online and shortly received a return call and scheduled a time to come in. I came later in the evening and was helped immediately and still was unsure but I was reassured that they would find something to fit me and my budget. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to come on the next scheduled date and had to reschedule for a later date which sometime after the Christmas holiday. After the holiday the rental I was using was returned. So I called and explained to the Larry that I still wanted to come but was unsure because I didn't have a way to get there. He said not a problem we will come pick you up. To my surprise a very nice man by the name of Craig Peacock pulled at my house and picked me up. He made me feel comfortable about the whole car purchasing experience as I we talked and he asked me about what I was looking for in a car and I explained to him what I knew I liked and what I could afford. At the dealership we sat down and went over a few things and I can simply say that he definitely made my car buying experience a lot better than I expected and was able to drive away in a my new 2011 Honda CRV. Craig was great. He was very patient and never gave a feeling that no matter what challenges I thought I had that he and the Easterns Motor staff were going to make sure that I was driving in a new vehicle. So thank you to Craig and all the staff who took a part in putting me in a new vehicle. More
