Phoenix Rising My car of five years - an Infiniti G-35X finally had a catastrophic breakdown - the tranny went bad!!! :-( Unfortunately, the news on how much it My car of five years - an Infiniti G-35X finally had a catastrophic breakdown - the tranny went bad!!! :-( Unfortunately, the news on how much it would cost to repair it was even worse - between $4K and $5K...so with a ride that I knew that I would have to go back into the car market (sooner than later)...I thought why not buy a car???? But then, I thought...man, with my so-so credit (while rebuilding it this year), I knew that it may be a challenge to just go to any car dealership...So I tried - Easterns - like the Commercial says - Your Job is Your Credit)... Well, lucky for me...I had a great job and worked there at least 5 years...the moment I put it a little bit of basic info without putting critical personal info (like your SSN right away), the Sales Manager gave me very reassuring, warm, friendly service and simply asked me what kind of car I would like and granted me a pre-approval over the phone, and set up an appointment. When I went down to the one of Easterns Automotive Group's Dealerships (in Temple Hills), the Sales Associate was fair and honest about my financial situation (without disrespecting or embarrassing me) and I felt that once that had all of the basic info (like job, income, SSN), they found a few lenders that could finance me! :-) And they presented a car to me with style and class (a late model car, loaded with TONS of amenities and with low mileage). - Yes, I am glad I made the choice for Easterns - and they gave me the important extras too to protect my investment, like an extended warranty and GAP insurance. Nothing like a sales person with a sincere affinity for his clients!!! Thanks Easterns for getting me quickly into a new ride, where others may have not given me that opportunity as easily. :-) More
