I have been driving for 35 years and purchased seven cars throughout that time. No transaction has ever been smoother, friendlier or more expedient that what I experienced at Easterns Automotive Group in Hy throughout that time. From the initial phone conversation I had with Mr. Dave Wakefield to the expert salesmanship of Mr. Edren Watts, everything was smooth as silk. I decided very late in the day on 02/17/14, the President’s Day holiday, to trade in my car and make a new purchase. After canvassing the Easterns Automotive Group website, I spoke with Dave and told him exactly what SUV’s I was interested in seeing and what my absolute limits were. He was extremely professional, attentive to my needs and even told me that he could transport any automobile I wanted to see from any of the Easterns Automotive Group locations to whichever location was convenient or me. I was concerned about appropriate financing, and he explained that there would be no problems at all. I told him the location I wanted to go to and he actually had Edren waiting for me. He came out of the showroom and greeted me at my car! Now that is great customer service!! Edren had me fill out the usual forms, and within about 30 minutes or so, I was financed!! The pricing and financing were perfect!! The Carfax was totally clean also. Everything was above aboard and super professional. There was no haggling at all. Edren drove around my beautiful, fully loaded Ford Explorer. This SUV was so clean; you could eat off the tires!! It was late at night, and Edren accommodated me by driving my SUV into the showroom, so I could inspect it in the light. WOW, I was stunned!! Everything about the SUV was total perfection!!! Dave Wakefield and Edren Watts are rockstars!!! Their dedication to professionalism and superior customer service should serve as a model for all automobile Sales Associates across the DMV. Easterns Financing Department is fantastic also!! They work as if you are the only client they have, and they ensure that you get the best financing in the industry. Even the lovely Michelle LeGrand worked her pretty, little fingers to the bone processing all my paper work very late into the night! Tim Atkins, the General Manager of the Easterns Automotive Group in Hyattsville, MD, is also a purveyor of super customer service! I was a bit concerned that it was so late at night after business hours when I purchased my new car, that not all the financing was complete or that not everything was appropriately finalized when I drove the car off the lot. Tim phoned me in my office the next day and assured me that he had personally checked everything and my new SUV was truly mine! Mr. Watts should be elevated from a Gold Level Performer to a Platinum Performer! He is a superior automobile Sales Associate that truly values his customer’s time and wants every customer to enjoy and appreciate his or her buying experience. As a new mom, the safety of your child takes precedence over everything in your life. It was important for my daughter to ride in a safe and reliable vehicle that would still be in decent condition by the over everything in your life. My current vehicle had very high miles even though it wasn't currently giving me any problems but I just knew that at any moment it could break down and I was especially fearful of it happening with my daughter--so only a newer car than my 11 year old Acura would alleviate my concerns However I was in a not ideal situation. My credit was burdened by student loans and I needed some truly creative financing in order to make it even possible for me to purchase a second vehicle. Thankfully Eastern motors, and Mervyn were there to help. Mervyn walked me through my options, and helped me be REALISTIC about my situation and so that I could focus on my priorities. Not only that but they provided an opportunity for me to get into a better credit situation and still buy a 2011 Camry V6 that was STILL under the FACTORY warranty! I am truly thankful for all of their help and would HIGHLY recommend ANYONE go to Eastern Motors, no matter your credit situation. Their diligence, courtesy, and professionalism were impressive and I WILL buy my next vehicle from Eastern Motors. More
