Plan on taking a nap while ya wait, the longest in 30 years to ever buy a car, yeah they were busy, so was Chevrolet when i was there, in and out in 15 minutes. Salesman, doing the best he can juggling customers, embarrassed walking past one to the other. My review is based on the finance department and management to resolve an issue along with sales. Finance Lady, straight out fibbed to my face as the situation goes on it only gets worst leading to more lies, she said I can not get you in a new car for less than 7.25% when a new Camry is advertised at 2.5%. Unbelievable, with a very proud credit score I spent my life working for left with a 9.84%. very insulting and she agreed. I said i would fix it tomorrow since its going on 4hrs there, O no there is a penalty she replied that I had to pay on it for 7 months first. What??? Why??? Who would!! Makes no sense. Really takes the fun out of buying a car. So I do some work on it. Man at Ally bank said plain as day it was a personal loan rate/% contracted with Toyota with a car as collateral, on paper work its a high percentage auto loan. Ally Bank advertises starting at 4.76% with good credit. My credit was run 7 times, only had to be 1, they give you a list of lenders, why not the ones I picked, GMAC, or Credit Union, I figured this out, 9.84% down to 5.74% simply by the time of day. Solution, Can you simply tell the customer this before hand, before insulting them, making them mad, making them wish they never went there, trying to make them believe you are doing them a favor, you are not. Honesty goes a long way with me. Fib to my face causes all this. Keep in mind damage control on my credit report, having to spend time fixing and sitting another hour at the bank correcting it, it is mine not yours, points matter, 7 times uncalled for, and if you run it, do it right, "once" all the correct info, not some, you said you didn't, you did period. I am at fault here not being protective enough and opening my mouth. My work status changed due to your lack of input, doesn't really matter to the score, but once again its mine not yours to disrupt so you can push a car out the door. I was nice, polite, obviously smarter than you anticipated, my failure was entrusting you as a whole. They all know, they all involved, played out from the 500 dollar price drop to make you feel better, lol I'm not that guy. The car price was settled before I left home to get it. Only reason I was there was Cadillac is backed up on new orders and you had 1, being it's a Christmas gift I did not want to wait until February or go to Birmingham or Fort Walton beach to get it, and they seem really hard to find for this exact model and specs. You should have keep your 500 bucks, but thanks. Due to the last txt from Cale showed your true colors, very comical and typical of a salesman, but very uncalled for. Is this true, look it up on reddit/Toyota switch and bait, do your research, google it, know your worth before going, see your local bank first, understand your credit worth first, one day wait will not hurt you, do not settle, get what you want, not what they want to give you or take from you, know your car trade in value, do not give it away.THIS CAR LOT OF DREAMS ALONG WITH OTHERS IS BUILT ON YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY, they live off of you, you feed them, you cloth them, you, we, us built these empires as along with everything else involving. Giving back honesty and dignity wouldn't hurt them at all, yet most people leave and never knew what happened except they got car, sad. The Doc fee, 999, and msrp on a used car its a joke, argue this price away, they have plenty of room to move on a used car, look at the values of the car you want first, get the vin # and run it on Kelly and Carfax etc. before you go, simple to do, saves you money. Check the warranty before and after. Saying it has none could be wrong. Walk the car with a fine tooth comb, they will not go out of their way to tell you if there is damage. More
Would definitely recommend Eastern Shore Toyota and our salesman Zac for excellent service. Zac went above and beyond in his help to find us the right car. Chris Avery was very personable and extremely helpful in the purchase of my new Rav4. Took the time to go over all the features and helped set up my phone and multimedia system, which i would probably not the purchase of my new Rav4.
