Went to Eastern Short Toyota to look at several used trucks. Drove some and then drove a new one. After working with Travis and the finance team was able to trade in two of my cars and pick up a new Tun trucks. Drove some and then drove a new one. After working with Travis and the finance team was able to trade in two of my cars and pick up a new Tundra for less than what I was paying for the two cars monthly! Got a fair trade in price for both of my cars and now I am in a new Tundra and couldn't be happier! Worth the drive! More
I felt like I got scammed out of my money, car salesman kept calling my phone and won’t tell me everything about the car I was looking at until I got there which is an hour and an half drive. I got my car’ kept calling my phone and won’t tell me everything about the car I was looking at until I got there which is an hour and an half drive. I got my car’s value and it wasn’t that great but it’s decent. The new Camry I bought was $27,000 and my car was valued at $11,000 plus another $5,000 thousand down so $16,000 is towards the car and my total is still $20,000 for the car which makes no sense. I come to realize that I asked my salesman does the car warranty and he said yes it does since it’s still new, little did I know I have to pay for warranty which is sad. I went to the finance office after 3 hours of long waits and got to signing and the finance manager guy looked at me like I was crazy when I told him I don’t want warranty because I was told it comes with warranty. I got tired of waiting and finished with everything and got my 20 day tag. I was also told that I can use the same license plate from my car to transfer it to another when I get to the DMV. But when I got to the DMV I had to pay $325.20 out of pocket to get new plates because I couldn’t use my old one when it should of been free. The worst part of this is, when I looked at my statement I’m paying over $20k for the car and it doesn’t add up because $27,000 - $16,000 should be around $11,000-$13,000 if I don’t count the extra fees that they get from commission off of me. but that’s not the case and the worst part is I had to go back to the dealership to cancel the warranty along with the maintenance plan and I was told it would cost $75.00 for the processing fee, like what. Honestly. this is a huge disappointment and a waste of my time and money for me and I wish it could of been better. Because I had to pay out of pocket for the unnecessary fees like the tags. another update to add to that is my payment is not $359 a month, i now have to pay $9.50 convenience fee so now it’s $368.50. They did not disclose about a random fee. More
My experience with Eastern Shore Toyota is lowering by the week. We first had a deal in writing for our trade of 28,800. Upon the paperwork the trade in value was 27,500. I mentioned this to the sales the week. We first had a deal in writing for our trade of 28,800. Upon the paperwork the trade in value was 27,500. I mentioned this to the sales person and his response was "That's the deal". We left the dealership after 9pm, last to leave this was Friday night. We were not allowed to test drive the vehicle prior to the purchase. The next day we drove the vehicle and discovered the ride was too rough, our backs hurt the entire ride and after. If Eastern Shore Toyota (EST) had been open on Sunday I would have been back first thing. Monday arrived, I sat in the parking lot of EST waiting for the doors to open. My first contact was the front desk, I asked to speak with the owner they gave me the Sales manager Zach. I explained and asked Zach to return the vehicle and get our trade-in back. He said no problem, For some reason the finance guy had to get involved and he wasn't in. I was there for several hours after he arrived, saw him talking with Zach and the sales person, They said the sales paper work had been completed, that I could trade the vehicle in and purchase something else. Asked for our trade in,,, No response. There's just too much more to discuss. The finance person deceitfully pushed the papers in front of us at 9pm and did not review the paperwork item by item.. We had purchased the previous week from another Toyota Dealership with a great experience. We were not given any paper documents, the finance guy handed us a flash drive. I was not aware they did not have to provide documents, I am still under the knowledge in Alabama they are required to provide documents of the sale, not a flash drive. This felt sleazy, that my word of the day for his actions. He was hiding the details during the signing and then again hid the details after the signing. There is more to the story, Bottom line, DO NOT visit Eastern Shore Toyota and see the finance guy Nick. If this is EST policy, I'm so discussed with the place I'll drive longer and further for any service required, needed or desired. More

I have been to this dealership on three separate occasions to check out vehicles they advertise on their website. Every time I was told “that particular vehicle is still in the shop for inspection”. occasions to check out vehicles they advertise on their website. Every time I was told “that particular vehicle is still in the shop for inspection”. My phone number was taken by a salesman each time with a promise to contact me when the vehicles could be seen. Not a call. Not one. I know they are a high volume dealer in the area but they have a great deal to learn about customer service. The term “bait and switch” comes to mind. More
