I’ve been bringing my Outback to this dealer since it was new. Jamie Nussbaum has gone above and beyond insuring that my appointment is expeditiously processed along with a thorough inspection. His focus and attention to detail gives me the confidence that my vehicle is in its best operation range. I appreciate and I’m most grateful to have Jamie Nussbaum’s full support. I have one suggestion for East Hills Subaru. I would highly recommend a new protocol for all sales. I would have potential customers be introduced to Jamie Nussbaum. Most people do not trust “Car Salespeople “. The lack of trust and ultimately lack of confidence initiates a poor customer/dealer relationship. I believe this new protocol can bring your dealership to another level. Again, thanks Jamie Nussbaum for all you do for my family and all the people you serve. Finally, I must add Lori-Service Advisor (Exceptional Customer Service Experience) and Sandro (Most Outstanding Service Technician)- Lori and Sandro are first-class professionals! More
I recently had a less than satisfactory experience with the Roslyn dealership. Over the course of a year, I purchased 3 vehicles from their affiliate in Sayville. One of them unexpectedly malfunctioned aft the Roslyn dealership. Over the course of a year, I purchased 3 vehicles from their affiliate in Sayville. One of them unexpectedly malfunctioned after only 6600 miles during my time in NYC. Due to towing costs, the car was brought to Roslyn instead of Sayville. The service team informed me the battery failure was because I didn't drive enough - suggesting that 5000 miles a year wouldn't sustain the battery. I'm surprised, as I was clear about my driving habits at the time of purchase. Why wasn't I informed about this potential issue? There were discrepancies about the towing timings and communication lapses on their end, which further exacerbated the situation. Additionally, the service manager's handling of the matter was quite dismissive. It's also come to my attention that the parasitic battery drain issue is known, yet it seems to be overlooked. I hope management will acknowledge and address these concerns. #CustomerExperienceMatters More
Worse experience ever, they charge me $816 for an oil change, tire rotation and brake fluid flush. My car is under warranty. When I tried to speak to someone they refused to take my complaint. Service visit I am the owner of a 2016 Subaru Forester. In my opinion, the customer service at East Hill Subaru was among-st the WORST I have ever experienced. Wh I am the owner of a 2016 Subaru Forester. In my opinion, the customer service at East Hill Subaru was among-st the WORST I have ever experienced. When I dropped my car off for the state inspection and Subaru recall work, I was told that my breaks needed to be replaced. Consequently , I had to leave my Forester with them from May 18th to May 20th. When I returned to pick my car up, I noticed that there were a lot of scratches on the front bumper and yellow paint around the scratches (as if it was scratched against a yellow pole). When I informed East Hill Subaru, I was treated quite RUDELY and was told that "it happened because of you". They then proceeded to rub off the yellow paint from the bumper and repeated that the scratches may have happened beforehand. More

Scam artists Well, first of all back in February of 2016 I bought a Subaru Forester for $38,000 with all the bells and whistles and gave East Hills a rave review. Well, first of all back in February of 2016 I bought a Subaru Forester for $38,000 with all the bells and whistles and gave East Hills a rave review. But here is what you probably already know, when they are making a sale they will do anything including spit and polish your shoes to make that sale. But as soon as those papers are signed and you pull out of their parking lot (which is no easy task) the romance is over. First of all let me tell you to beware... the rear air vents above the tires are open space. So last winter a nest of squirrels made a home in the rear of my car during a snow storm in the rear of the car under the carpet. The bill was $6000.00 to repair. There is a flaw in the design that would allow rodents into the cabin of the car. My wonderful auto body shop installed metal grates on the vents at no extra cost to me. When I went to East Hills they literally shrugged their shoulders and told me to call Subaru America and wrote the # on a sticky. I called Subaru America and they said they could only send me a certificate for a couple of hundred dollars and pass along my suggestion to their design team. Now get this.......four days later they sent me a vacuum cleaner!!! Like a slap in the face, I guess it was for vacuuming up the rodent xxxx. Ok, back to East Hills service department. I brought the car in for regular maintenance and told them I had a grinding noise when I first started the car cold, and then it went away. After service was complete the service rep said the techs heard the noise but didn't know what it was, which is xxxxxxxx because the noise only happens when the car is cold. They said there was nothing they could do. I got home and got a text from the service manager asking if I was happy with the service and text back with any concerns. I did just that, asking if they were going to take responsibility if the situation got worse and not say it was my neglect. One week.....no response. I sent another text and another. no answer. I called service and asked the name of the General Manager. She said David. I asked for the last name and she said she was not allowed to give that out. I asked for David's fax or text , she said she was not allowed to give that out. She said David would call me after 2pm. 5 days later and I still haven't heard from 'David'. I did get a text from that text # saying sorry they missed my text. I explained the situation very civilly and told him it wasn't one text, it was three texts. And he never got back to me. So much for my romance with East Hills Subaru. I was planning to upgrade to an Outback or Ascent at East Hills. I have Metric Subaru dealership 1/2 a mile from my house and will go there to make my purchase instead of going based on reviews. I am guessing East Hills is a conglomerate of dealerships and will forward my concerns to both Subaru America and East Hills. Never xxxx off a J.A.P. with time on her hands. BTW - I took my car to a gas station mechanic and he found the problem in about 2 minutes. Fixed it and it cost me 10 bucks. More
