Treated like a gentlemen. I went into east hills Subaru to price both a new and used forester. I met with Michael Monteforte who treated me and my wife great. No xx with him telling us, if you don't buy now it may be gone etc. He gave us a great deal on a new forester. When we met with the finacing officer, Jayson he too treated us very well. He worked with us and got us excellent financing and worked with us to get an extended warranty, again at a good price. At no time did I feel like we were being pressured. We had been to other dealers, both Subaru and others. We were more than happy to return to east hills and give our business to Mike. All in all a very good experience. More
Productive & Stress-Free Experience Came here on a whim with my Dad looking to replace his old Maxima, which had 200k miles and AC that had just crapped out in the 90+ degree heat. I should mention that my Dad finds car shopping extremely stressful, so we were looking for a smooth experience above all. Luckily for us, we dealt with Jamie, who was a ray of sunshine. She was extremely personable, knowledgeable and chatty, which helped put my Dad at ease. They also happened to have the perfect car, a 2017 Legacy with absolutely no extraneous options. Long story short, it was about 24 hours from walking randomly in the dealership until the car was in the driveway. The process was as simple and straightforward as could be. Thanks Jamie! :) More
Very easy to deal with I went in to East Hills Subaru expecting high pressure sales and I really just wanted to get pricing so that I could go to another dealer from whom I I went in to East Hills Subaru expecting high pressure sales and I really just wanted to get pricing so that I could go to another dealer from whom I thought I would purchase a new Forester. Bob Goldman, the sales person I dealt with, made me very comfortable. We spoke at some length about what features I wanted. Bob suggested that I purchase a 2017 Forester since it had all the safety features I wanted. I told Bob what I was willing to pay for the car and he made it happen. The car came in about 5 weeks later which was great. Bob spent about an hour with me and Carol going over all of the features of the car. He has continued to follow up. I am very happy with Bob and I highly recommend him. I trust that I will be equally happy with the service dept. More
6 for 9 Have you ever heard the expression "someone is trying to give me a number 6 instead of 9," well whether you have or haven't what East Hills Subaru did Have you ever heard the expression "someone is trying to give me a number 6 instead of 9," well whether you have or haven't what East Hills Subaru did to me was far worst. I met with Bob Goldman on July 2, 2016 and he bad mouthed Starr Subaru and told me to "go get burned by Starr" when I told him that East Hills was our first stop and we wanted to check with another dealer before settling. I didn't end up going to Starr, but I went home and then went back to East Hills the same day. I made a deal to buy a 2017 Subaru Outback in Carbide Grey, which included side-molding. I put down $500 that day and still to this day, July 21, 2016 have not received my refund. On July 9, 2016 we spoke to Bob after not hearing anything from East Hills all week about anything, including financing or when the car would be delivered. Bob told us to call back on Monday, July 11, and we will get the financing sorted out. In that conversation he also confirmed that side-molding was included in the deal because my husband wanted to be absolutely certain that was included. But on Monday, when we spoke to Bob he said that a "new manager" would not honor our deal and side-molding would not be included and we would have to pay an extra $650 for that. We told him to cancel the deal and he tried to scare us into staying with them by saying that he ran my credit when in fact he did not. On Tuesday, July 12, we went to East Hills to officially cancel the deal and because of their lazy Accounting and cunning sales people I am still waiting on my refund of my $500 deposit. BTW I got my car for the same price from Grand Prix Subaru and have been driving it since Wednesday, July 13. These people are scammers and should not be trusted, wolves in sheep's clothing, con artist trying give you a number 6 for a 9. If I could give these people negative stars for customer service they would get about a negative 3 starts. They almost never pick up the phone, never return your call when you leave messages. You have to constantly call until they pick up the phone. I'm still waiting on Dee in Accounting to email my refund receipt, which doesn't exist, because I just checked my card. Liars! I will be visiting them and the Better Business Bureau about my experience in short order. More
Great experience Came in looking for a '16 Impreza and drove out in a '17 Legacy for almost the same price. Michael was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout. Both he and Jayson (finance) made the experience as easy and painless as I can imagine. Also worked previously with Bob and Dennis who went out of their way trying to find a different, harder to find model/color. Appreciated their efforts and although the search was not successful I ended up with a car I loved even more, so all worked out well. Everyone here is very friendly and not at all pushy. The whole team knows and believes in their products and worked with me to make sure I left with a car that I was excited about and at the right price. I would recommend East Hills for anyone looking for a new car. Thanks! Adam More
