Dear Mr. Barwick, I’m sorry you had the experience you had today. No customer should leave here feeling the way you did. I’ve spoken to Chris and our owner, who, in turn, had spoken to our service writers present at the time of your visit. There appear to be some discrepancies with the events that took place. We adhere to the New York and CDC safety protocols. Interestingly, you attempted to walk in without a mask -- which you left out of your review -- and you were asked to leave to get your mask. Chris was always wearing a mask. You are incorrect in saying he had, “no mask” and “he wasn’t wearing a mask.” Your vehicle is out of warranty. For us to have a claim to approach FCA about why your vehicle should be covered by warranty, there must be some sort of proof that you’ve had the issue on prior occasions. There is no record in the history of our servicing your vehicle that would indicate you’ve had this issue prior. You’ve got a pattern of behavior that is not conducive to a healthy business relationship. There comes a time when we have to decide how much abuse we will tolerate. Today, was our tipping point. We told you to leave, even after you were willing to pay for the repair without benefit of the warranty.
