you thought i was related I came to this dealership for a warranty repair, on my 2010 Camaro, the way I was treated, you thought I was a family member. the manner and attentive I came to this dealership for a warranty repair, on my 2010 Camaro, the way I was treated, you thought I was a family member. the manner and attentiveness was remarkable. I must give kudos to Tony Vicente, and Andre Llits, they are the best. Tony runs a tight ship, and Andre is his right hand, I may be wrong, but, thats what I experienced. Andre even called me several times to see if everything was alright with the repair. You won't get that from any repair or dealership service center, again, I wish they would clone these two...I am actually in the market for a silverado, and I'm going to deal with them, as the first impression is the lasting impression, and what I experienced was not of the norm. Thanks again Andre and Tony!!! More

KIETH K IN SERVICE IS A THIEF. DO NOT TRUST HIM KEITH K IS A THIEF. DO NOT DISCUSS WHAT YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY WITH HIM OR "HOW MUCH YOU CAN SPEND." HE WILL ROB YOU. Two weeks after I picked up KEITH K IS A THIEF. DO NOT DISCUSS WHAT YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY WITH HIM OR "HOW MUCH YOU CAN SPEND." HE WILL ROB YOU. Two weeks after I picked up my car I am still ruminating over how bad this guy robbed me. My entire family being the loyal people we are has purchased cars from East Hills Chevrolet but because of Keith they will never see another dollar of me or my families business. They Should change his name to Thief K. So here is what happened and a derivation of the formal email complaint I sent GM. To whom it May Concern My family and I were very loyal customers to East Hills Chevrolet and I am lodging this complaint because after about 2 weeks of picking up my Chevy Tahoe truck I just can't shake how badly the service assistance at East Hills Chevrolet of Douglaston took me. His name was Keith K. AND HE ROBBED ME AND WAS SMILING TO MY FACE WHILE HE WAS DOING IT. My 2009 Chevy Tahoe was to be brought in for a "tune up." Please let it be known that outside of basic/routine maintenance (i.e.: oil changes, tires, and brakes) ALL MAJOR REPAIRS WERE ALWAYS DONE THROUGH AUTHORIZED CHEVROLET DEALERS AND SERVICE CENTERS. AND YOU CAN CHECK YOUR RECORDS TO VALIDATE He charged me $1200 for a transmission flush, an intake flush, replacing two of the "leaking" hoses that lead from the radiator the engine, and a replacement of the rear differential pinions. For the pinions alone charge about $400 for that job. When I called the parts department I was astonished at what the cost of the pinions were. And please do not insult my intelligence with telling me I had to pay "labor" my car was done in less than 3-4 hours (MAX) of "TRUE WORK". And that judgment is based exclusively on when I had my last conversation with that low life Keith to when he called me to come get it and to tell me the work was complete. I am assuming that was when the work commenced and was finished. There was a 3-4 hours time span. He hadn't begun work while he was telling me the pricing and telling me he would "work on some numbers and call me back" and when it was already done he couldn't wait to get me in so her could seal the deal and rob me. I know deep down inside this guy took me. He did not care about doing the right thing by me. I explained to him I was a new father and had another one on the way and I needed to be conservative with what was spent on and to not do anything that was not completely imperative and essential to the cars ability to drive. The reason I brought my Tahoe in was because my pregnant wife is now the one driving the car with our infant and I wanted to be sure everything is up to speed and it is safe for her to drive. He simply asked "so what is your maximum you can spend." It is very evident he saw me as a PAYDAY. And it's obvious by how he hustled me that he only had 1 thing in mind. HIS COMMISSION. "I told him $1200" and without even getting my authorization he just went and took it upon himself to go ahead and fix what he deemed "most important." There was never a verbal or written AUTHORIZATION GIVEN TO HIM BY ME (I ASK THAT ANYBODY IN THEIR ORGANIZATION CHECK THEIR RECORDED TELEPHONE CONVERSATIONS, AND THEY WILL INDEED SEE) over exactly what he was fixing. All he did was tell me what was wrong with the car and roughly how much each job will be. He never ever got my permission to fix anything. He took it upon himself to do that because I told him a number I couldn't afford to spend more than. He just told me he was "going to work on a few things" and he would call me back. Next thing I knew he called me and the car was done. I was furious when I got the bill and saw what he worked on and what he schemed to charge me for it. I want you to know. My father drives a Suburban, My mother (drives a Malibu) and I have both purchased our cars from East Hills Chevrolet of Roslyn ( same owner as EAST HILLS CHEVROLET OF DOUGLASTON) and I had every intention on continuing to drive Chevy and purchasing from East Hills Chevy again as we are very loyal people but this Service Aid (Keith K) has put such a negative taste in my mouth I do not know I even would consider the Chevy brand ever again. I treat everybody straight up and am completely honest and forward. I expect. I DEMAND the same treatment. Thief K is clearly cut from a different cloth and the fact that East Hills Chevrolet of Douglaston employs worthless xxx like that is testament enough for me to never want to bring my business back. Whats funny is my family needs another car and I was looking at the Traverse. I was planning the purchase in May/June 2016. I was clearly going to buy from them. They will never see another dollar of me or my families business ever again. Not unless they rectify this situation. More

I made an appointment for 8:30 on a Saturday morning. Making the appointment was easy, checking in was easy, and the service people are really nice. The only negative would be the wait. I understand Saturday's are busy but 2 hours for an oil change is a bit much. More
The worst service I have ever had any where I traded in a Chevy for a used Hundai that was supposed to be in excellent condition. Initially the engine light was on and I was told it was nothing I traded in a Chevy for a used Hundai that was supposed to be in excellent condition. Initially the engine light was on and I was told it was nothing and since the air did not work they said it's a minor problem related to the light. They fixed it "supposedly". I took the car and a little after the A/C was not cooling, the light was back on, and the electric system seemed to start with problems to even start the car. Since the car is a Hundai they said they would call me once they talked to Hundai to set up the appointment for me to take the car there. I waited and waited and called and asked and the service department said they would get back to me, which they never did. Until one day I received a call from someone asking for a copy of the driver's license of the previous owner of the Chevy I traded in. I said sure I now the person I can get it. And I said by the way I am still waiting on someone to tell me what to do with the car because it is not working, etc… I told the lady I had talked to sales, to the manager of the service dept. who told me he would call and never did, so there was no one else to talk to but the owner. she said she would pass the message. Within minutes I had a call from the used car sales manager telling to go drop the car off and they would give a loaner and that way I did not have to deal with Hundai in case of a payment needed to be made plus I had the warrantee. So I went left my car and they gave a loaner. That was over a month or more ago, don't know exactly because they did not put the date on the document for the loaner but I can tell you it was over 1100 miles ago. That's how many more miles I have put on the loaner car. NOT A SINGLE PHONE has been made to me to let me know the status of the car. I have no idea what is going on. Today I decide to call and ask for the owner again. I ask the gentleman who answered the phone to transfer me to him. He said what can I help you with? I said nothing I need to speak to the owner. He insisted on asking what was it about and that he might be able to help. I said no I need the owner and this went on for a few minutes. I asked for the name of the owner and very reluctatly he said John… He doesn't have a last name. Then he said he wasn't in. I said ok I can wait. He said what was the car I dropped off at his service dept, so I am assuming he is the manager of the service dept, and what was my name. I gave him my name and the car model and my phone number. He said that the owner was not going to be in until end of next week. I said that's fine I have a car to drive. I guess if I have waited over a month without any news from my car I can wait one more week. THis was exactly what happened the first time, they did not want me speaking to the owner. I wonder how much of all the service problems that obviously go on in his store he is aware of because EVERYBODY blocks any communication with the owner. No one wants you talk to him no matter what department you talk to. So I guess I will continue to wait without knowing anything about my car. Ohhhh and by the way they have not called back for the driver's license that they needed to register the car the bought from me. Is the car in the lot just sitting there? or they were able to solve it some other way. As a business person I wonder how much money is the owner loosing in this business? Doesn't sound like it's a healthy one. More
