BE CAREFUL !!! With this dealer. I’m so stressed over this company my car has been in service for two months now and every time I call its a different Story. The service advisor Gary has been the worse a this company my car has been in service for two months now and every time I call its a different Story. The service advisor Gary has been the worse advisor he doesn’t follow up or has no idea what’s been done to the car. My transmission wasn’t driving Smoth and it was still under warranty so I brought it here and after I left the car they did everything to void my warranty but never gave me explanations as to why it was Voided. A month later I got my car back paid about 1450 total. The car didn’t last a day ALL same problems still remain in the car found out they never replaced wires which they charged me for they “Filxed it” according to them. Now I gotta pay an extra 1400 plus taxes after the 1450 I already paid for another attempt to get the car fixed when in reality my car was never fixed. They promise the car every other day and it’s been forever. I got pictures which also show how nasty my car looks has gargabe all over. I feel like I been Robed no one in east hills has been able to help there’s so much more I been through with this dealer that I haven’t mentioned I hope no one goes though the headache this people given me still no car idk if they even have the right people to properly fix or maintain any cars. More
My experience with them has been BAD! I called GM financial yesterday and they told me i can bring it to any dealership in the USA to drop it off. Well funny thing is i called this morning the closest dealer East Hills Chevrolet in Douglaston, NY and was told by the sales assistant lady that they have no room for any lease returns. This was after she asked if i originally got the car from them. I knew they would try to pull this type of stuff and reason being i called once a while ago to get rear diff service and they told me they had no availability and to take it to my original dealer where i got it. This was on more then one occasion i was told this (we are booked up this month). I get the feeling they only want to work on cars purchased/leased there. Dealer where i leased the car from would take it back Monday after i called but its a trip for me and Uber isn't cheap the ride home. So i was trying to leave it with a dealer local but seems this is a issue, at least with East Hills Chevrolet.... More

They are no help and the don’t care Just an update. I am still having issue with my car and there still giving excuse on they can't fix my car. Opened a case up with GM and there just as useless. I am done with East Hill Chevy as well as GM all together. They don't stand by there product nor do they care. They have lost my business as well as my family's potential business and i will be warning all my friends and there families to stay away from this dealership. There sales people are nice and all when they want to get you in there cars but when issues being to arise they don't care. They may have changed their service department but yet I still have seen no improvement. Your best bet is to just find a private mechanic because at least they will take the time to look at the car and not give you a lame excuse. This is the worst car buying experience ever. I was in there recently and I was talking with the sales manager in regards to getting out of my lease early and it was clear that he showed no interest in the conversation. I can not wait till my lease is up so i never to deal with this dump again. STAY AWAY!!!!! More
Came in to repair and left with two cars Sonia Mitsis is a great sales associate. She was our original sales associate in the previous Chevrolet dealership and I am glad she is at East Hills Sonia Mitsis is a great sales associate. We came in to fix our Chevrolet Traverse 2015 LTZ and the service center was fantastic to the point of motivating us to look at new cars. We end leaving with 2015 Trax and a 2018 Equinox LT. Great dealership and will recommend family and friends to Sonia and speak highly on the service. More

Service department Shortly after purchasing a new 2018 Chevrolet Traverse from East Hills Chevrolet of Douglaston the air conditioning stopped working. I scheduled an ap Shortly after purchasing a new 2018 Chevrolet Traverse from East Hills Chevrolet of Douglaston the air conditioning stopped working. I scheduled an appointment with East Hills Chevrolet of Douglaston’s service department. They found nothing wrong with the truck but the air conditioning was still working intermittently. After their first failed attempt to diagnose the problem with the air conditioning I had to schedule another service appointment. This time they said they could not duplicate the problem but they were replacing the compressor. After their second failed attempt to diagnose the issue with the air conditioning I had to schedule another service appointment because the problem persisted. This time they had the truck for ten days and again stated they could not duplicate the problem but were going to replace a control board. I received a call that the truck was repaired and ready for pickup. When I got to the dealership I entered into the truck to drive home and the air conditioner was blowing hot air I pointed it out to a service advisor that verified the problem and asked me to leave the vehicle. I left the truck with the service department. After their third failed attempt to diagnose the problem I called for an update and they didn’t even know that my truck was at the dealership waiting for repair. They again stated that they cannot recreate the problem. So they arbitrarily change parts in hopes of rectifying the problem. Why change parts if you can’t recreate the problem? This is now their fourth attempt to fix the same issue with my truck. As of this writing they’ve been in possession of my truck for a total of nineteen days and counting. It’s been eight days since anyone from the dealership contacted me. My air conditioning is still not working and there’s no resolution in sight. East Hills Chevrolet of Douglaston should not be a registered NYS Department of Motor Vehicle shop and be able to perform repairs and SAFETY inspections on motor vehicles. More

The same day, service department called me and told me to come back and pick up the car because the parts are not in. Wy bother to make an appointment? When the parts came in,I went back and left the car. When I went to pull away, I noticed the radio was not working. I complained that it was working when I dropped it off, and confirmed by the mechanic. They wanted me me to pay $180 to replace the radio. Why should I pay when it was fine when I dropped it off. They also admitted that they took the dashboard apart, to repair the recall on the airbags. To make matters worse, the car is handicapped equipped , as the person is unable to go anywhere as this is equipped for him to be accessible . To take advantage of a handicapped person and a woman it totally unacceptable... More
‘Free’ oil change and tire rotation I came in today for my first oil change and tire rotation. When I purchased my Silverado I was told this was free. However, now that I am here for ser I came in today for my first oil change and tire rotation. When I purchased my Silverado I was told this was free. However, now that I am here for service I was told the oil change is free but the tire rotation is $39.95. She told me that it would be free on the next service. She explained that they recommend 3,000 mike oil change for semi synthetic oil and I was past that mileage? The GM owners manual states that the 3,000 mile oil change is a myth. What a crock of xxxxe. It feels like a shake down for $40 bucks. More
