I am writing this review to commend Mr. Phil Wolhar , Chief Marketing Officer of East Hills Auto Group for the diligent and professional way that he handled an incident that I had within this this dealer Chief Marketing Officer of East Hills Auto Group for the diligent and professional way that he handled an incident that I had within this this dealer. Although I could have just come home and like some unhappy customers sit back and write a negative review right away my upbringing taught me to reach out in a different way and give people a second chance to make it right. That is why I reached out to Mr. Phil Wolhar via email , (Pwolhar@easthillsjeep.com) and explained to him the incident that I had the day before at the dealer. I had sent the email to him late that evening but the next day first thing in the morning he replied to it and later on that morning we communicated by phone. Let me first say that after the incident at this dealer I had lost interest in dealing with them again since in the few upcoming months my wife's car lease will be over and one of the vehicles she was considering was the Chevy Equinox . I have to honestly say that after speaking with Mr. Wolhar that morning that feeling of not going back to this dealer went out the window. In my conversation with him that morning he made me feel that he is a person of Integrity who is very concern about what happens in any of his dealers and I felt the professionalism , courtesy and care that many Chief Marketing Officers lack of today. To him is not just about selling cars but mostly knowing that the customers have been given the best possible deal and know that even is the deal could not be reach , the customers were treated with the courtesy and respect that they deserve and this is what makes a great Dealer. He may not be able to reach every ones needs but one thing I can tell you for sure is that he will try to get to the bottom of any circumstances and do his best to make it right . This is why I want to say to anyone who just wants to come home and start writing a bad review while at this dealer or any dealer connected to East Hills Auto Group. If you have a negative experience no matter how small it is , Please take a deep breath, sit down and email Mr. Phil Wolhar and give him a chance to go over your situation and let him find the best way to make it right. He handled my situation diligently and kept me posted every step of the way and it was resolved within a matter of days while showing me that he truly cares about customer satisfaction. And this is why I will be going back to this dealer to do business again and for that I can highly recommend East Hills Chevrolet of Douglaston and most of all Mr. Phil Wolhar. I had placed a call to this Dealer because I was interested in taking a look at the new 2021 Chevy Tahoe Premier and take it for a test drive. I had the pleasure of speaking with Erick Mendoza who w interested in taking a look at the new 2021 Chevy Tahoe Premier and take it for a test drive. I had the pleasure of speaking with Erick Mendoza who was very friendly and we agree for me to stop by the dealer at a later day and time to take the Tahoe for a ride. I met Erick at the dealer and he was gracious enough to show me a few 2021 Chevy Tahoes since I had mentioned to him that I was looking for a specific color and interior. While there he allowed me to take one that was a base model for a test drive. I was very impressed wit the new 2021 Tahoe but they did not have the specific trim level and colors that I was looking for but he told me that he will start looking in their inventory to see if he could find one exactly how I wanted it. Due to the fact that I was actually getting to the Lease End of my current vehicle and that it was taking a little longer for this East Hills Chevrolet to get one that was in transit longer than expected I was offered a a great deal from another brand that I could not refuse so I had to end up leasing another vehicle than the Tahoe although the Tahoe had been my first choice. I need to say that it was not Erick's fault that he was not able to get Tahoe soon enough but what I can say is that Erick did try his best to get me that specific Tahoe. And although we were not able to make a sale I can honestly say that he was very friendly and professional and I will not hesitate in recommending Erick to anyone who is looking to buy or lease a vehicle from this Dealer. I walked into two car dealerships on the day I purchased my new Jeep. They ignored me standing at the customer booth for over 10min and took there time servicing my request. This was the third time I worked with Joyce Gold on getting a car. I had two previous leases, and this time I wasn't sure if I wanted to lease a new car or if I wanted to buy out my lease with the car getting a car. I was very indecisive, but Joyce did not pressure me. She showed me the new cars, and she worked out the costs for me (after hearing my financial preferences) for both the lease and the buy-out. She attended to me patiently. Although I know that she would obviously rather have had me do a lease on a new car, she did not influence my decision, but let the decision be mine. I will definitely go back to Joyce and East Hills when the time comes for me to trade in my current car.
