It was a pleasure working with Joe Barriero. He was courteous, knowledgeable, the price was good and he didn't pressure me into buying a car. Joe answered all the questions I had about the car and gav courteous, knowledgeable, the price was good and he didn't pressure me into buying a car. Joe answered all the questions I had about the car and gave me choices with honest opinions about each of the cars I had in mind. He also had the car ready when he said it would be. He was timely and responsible for everything he said he would do. Joe also followed up two days later to see that everything was okay with the car, etc. However, the financing part was a problem for me. One needs to know how much one could put as a down payment(maximum) to finance AND the other hidden charges BEFORE making out a check and BEFORE the paperwork is typed up. If the warranty plans were to be added to the financing, then more of a downpayment could have been paid and the person in the finance area (John) did not explain this to me nor could he answer a couple of questions about the hidden charges when I called the next day. He just didn't have an answer that made any sense and kept "beating around the bush." I an assuming it was his commission for selling the warranty plan. I didn't think that was right since commission was paid to the salesman already just by my buying a car. More

LOOK ONLINE TO FIND EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR IN A "TOY" FOR MYSELF AND WAS LOOKING FOR THE BEST PRICE. I WALKED INTO EAST HILLS CHEVROLET AND WAS TAKEN CARE OF BY JOHN BERRIOLA. THERE WAS NO PROBLE "TOY" FOR MYSELF AND WAS LOOKING FOR THE BEST PRICE. I WALKED INTO EAST HILLS CHEVROLET AND WAS TAKEN CARE OF BY JOHN BERRIOLA. THERE WAS NO PROBLEMS AT ALL DEALING WITH HIM. I EXPLAINED WHAT I HAD FOUND ONLINE AND THE PRICING. HE WAS STRAIGHT FORWARD WITH ME WITH PRICING AND JUST THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE. THE CAR I HAD ORDERED WAS A 4 WEEK WAIT. I THEN RECEIVED A CALL FROM JOHN TELLING ME THAT IF I WAITED AN ADDITIONAL TWO WEEKS ,WE COULD GET THE NEXT YEARS MODEL FOR JUST ABOUT THE SAME PRICE . HE DIDN'T HAVE TO DO THIS BUT WAS A REAL NICE GUY AND HE KNEW I WOULD APPRECIATE THIS. MY EXPERIENCE AT EAST HILLS WITH JOHN WAS GREAT AND WOULDN'T HESITATE TO RETURN TO THE DEALER FOR SERVICE. They are ready to do whatever it takes to find your exact car and full satisfaction. honest, responsible and they dont have those hidden tricks or hidden fees that others carry in their pockets at the end of the sale..!! and what really makes a difference is that after they sell you the car, they continue to show responsibility and ready to carry on a long term relation with you when it comes to maintenance, oil change, and follow ups.. and on personal level, very nice, kind people over there, highly recommended! I went to purchase a 2010 Camaro which I had been waiting for, for 2 years. I started talking to Alex & Sal over the phone, and they were very up front and honest about everything - Alex helped me out by ma for, for 2 years. The car was exactly the one that I wanted with no exceptions, when it sounded too good to be true. When we got there, although we had to wait a bit for everything to fall into place - we got a GREAT price on probably the hottest selling car on the market right now (thanks Bob). Ended up going with dealer financing which gave me a reasonable interest rate anyway (Mike). I honestly can't see why anyone would give this dealership a bad review because I had an awesome experience there and this car simply turns heads everywhere I go. More

DENNIS CLARK (ROSLYN, EAST HILLS) TOLD US TO COME IN BUT DID NOT HAVE AN SERVICE MANNERS), JOHN BARREIRO -EXCELLENT TO WORK WITH - SAVED THE DEAL. DENNIS CLARK (ROSLYN, EAST HILLS) TOLD US TO COME IN BUT DID NOT HAVE ANY USED IMPALA'S ONSITE. WE TOLD HIM THAT WE WANTED TO PURCHASE THE CAR THAT DAY AND WE TRAVELED MORE THAN 90 MILES EACH WAY AND STILL HE DID NOT REFERRED US TO DOUGLASTON BRANCH WHERE WE HAVE SET UP AN APPOINTMENT ORIGINALLY WITH JOE BARREIRO. WE DID NOT REALIZE A SECOND SALES PERSON FROM A DIFFERENT LOCATION WAS PULLING US AWAY FROM THE APPOINTMENT WE MADE WITH JOE. IN THE APPLICATION WE SUBMITTED ONLINE WE PUT "ATTENTION TO JOE" IN THE COMMENTS SECTION. AND WE TOLD DENNIS THAT WE FILLED OUT A FORM BUT HE DID NOT TELL US THAT YOU HAVE ANOTHER CHEVY DEALER LOCATION - THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. WE DID NOT KNOW THAT THERE ARE 2 CHEVY LOCATION IN EASTHILLS BUT DENNIS COULD JUST HAVE TOLD US THAT WHEN WE CAME IN SATURDAY. DENNIS TOLD US WE WOULD HAVE TO COME BACK ON MONDAY AFTER WE WERE ALREADY ONSITE. DENNIS CHOSE TO HAVE US MAKE A SECOND TWO HUNDRED MILE ROULD TIP AND STEAL A CLIENT FROM HIS FELLOW SALES PERSON TO MAKE A SALE. IT IS OBVIOUS THAT CUSTOMER NEEDS ARE SECOND PLACE TO MAKING A SALE. I FOUND HIS JOB PERFORMANCE COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE AT EVERY LEVEL. BASED ON DECEIVING THE CUSTOMER AND POOR JUDGEMENT, I WOULD SUGGEST THAT DENNIS CLARK BE TERMINATED. MIKE LIPARI - INSULTED MY HUSBAND AND THEN TRY TO PRESSURE MY HUSBAND INTO EXUBERANT AN INTEREST RATE. JOE BARREIRO - HE IS GOLDEN, HIS QUICK THINKING AND HONESTY SAVED THE DEAL. IF IT WAS NOT FOR HIM WE WOULD HAVE WALKED OUT IN DISGUST AND NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING. More
