Searched for a used Tahoe for a few months. East Hills had the best selection and up front pricing. Salesman was helpfull and not pressuring. Not at East Hills, Scott Manes was up front about rates and warranty costs. After all the dealer needs to make money. I was in a bind and needed a car right away. I found one online and realized it was listed by East Hills Chevy. I went to the Douglaston location where it was listed at and when I got there, I didn't get m online and realized it was listed by East Hills Chevy. Not that it was busy, but the sales reps looked at me and walked past me wasn't much helpful either. After several minutes of staring at them, I was approached by a sales person and was told that there wasn't much cars for me to see at that location. He didn't do any research or lifted a book what-so-ever! Not to mention, I saw a few cars out in the front that were comparable to the one I found online. There was absolutely no effort given (nor compassion) and I was disgusted with the attitude. The following day, I went to the Roslyn location and it was like night and day. Drew greeted me almost right away and provided me with the answers I was looking for. I mentioned that I saw a car listed online and he showed me the car right away, as if he knew I was coming in. Within minutes, we were signing papers! Drew made it a real hassle free purchase. No stress and no worries. It was everything that was listed online (except the remote start - which was left out in the listing = Freebie for me!). This was by far, one of my best experiences in purchasing an auto at a dealership. While working out the financing (with Scott - I believe - sorry...bad memory here) my 2 and 3 year old kids were acting out and getting restless, looking for food and sleep. Not only did my kids jump all over the gorgeous convertable Comaro in the showroom, Drew also offered my kids coloring books, crayons and balloons to pass the time...and even offered us food and drinks! Not only did Drew try to calm my kids down, but the rest of the staff at this dealership did too. Where do you get this kind of sales service?!? Oddly, financing was actually a good experience too!!
