This dealership has made my buying experience the very best I have ever had. I went in thinking I was going to buy a spark and I walked out with a sonic. This was the experience we had during our two vis My boyfriend and I purchased a used 2011 Chevy Volt from East Hills Chevrolet on October 26th. This was the experience we had during our two visits to the dealership. When we went over the paper work on October 19th with Rob it listed the fees at $97.50, then while going over them with Dennis, before we signed, we noticed the fees went up to $112. His reasoning was that Rob made a mistake and charged us less than what he should have for the inspection. Dennis then told me that I couldn't register the car myself and we had to pay the $112 fee so the dealer could inspect the car, contact the DMV and do everything for us including having our plates mailed to us and assigning us dealer plates in the mean time. Then when we picked up the car on October 26th, Dennis told us that we could register the car ourselves and that it would be "cheaper for us". This time around that fee was only for the dealer plate and inspection yet it was never reduced from $112 when we were told it was that price the week before because it included the convenience of them doing everything for us to avoid going to the DMV. While test driving the car and inspecting it afterwards we noticed the navigation display was randomly flickering. I brought it to Dennis's attention and we were told it would be looked at. The navigation display was supposed to be fixed before we came back the following weekend. They told us the Volt guy would check it out on Monday October 21st. We were told the projector was replaced yet the display flickered all the way home for nearly four hours while using the navigation or simply listening to the radio. We are still experiencing this issue with the navigation display. The car was supposed to be cleaned and have the tint removed before we came in. I requested that every window including the rear window have the tint removed. We notified Dennis through text on Tuesday October 22nd that I would like all of the tint removed. Once again I requested for the tint to be removed on Wednesday October 23rd but Dennis stated that Rob wasn’t in so he couldn’t ask. Dennis texted us on Thursday stating that the car was being worked on downstairs, which included the tint removal and detailing. The tint wasn't removed until the day we came back to pick up the car and on top of that the tint on the back window was never removed. We waited over two hours for this to be finished. They took us downstairs to show us the outside of the car was cleaned and the inside was being vacuumed. When we arrived home we popped the hood because we heard a noise and noticed that it was never cleaned under the hood. It was absolutely filthy! That was the same condition it was in when we test drove the car the previous week. We were assured by Dennis that it would be cleaned and all the liquids topped off. The car was given to us with a full electric charge but only had a quarter of a tank of gas in it. After looking at our paperwork with the finance guy, John Frantiz, we noticed we were only being charged $10 for the NY inspection yet we were told it was $37 the week before, which was "the mistake" Dennis claimed Rob made, which was included in the check we brought with us from our credit union. John called someone to confirm the inspection was only $10 for a 2011 and whomever he spoke with said $10 was the correct amount. John stated he would refund us that amount on top of the difference between our check and the price we agreed upon. He was supposed to refund us $1426.37. He took our credit card and only refunded us $401.37. After calling him out on it he apologized and refunded us another $1000. Once again I told him the amount he refunded us was incorrect. We were missing $25. He pointed to a random amount that was listed on the left side of our paper that said it was for a loaner car and said it was a processing fee. I told him we were not getting a loaner car so it didn't make sense to charge us that fee especially since we were there to pick up the car and we had already agreed upon all of the fees and the price of the car. Since we had already signed all of the paper work, John left and never came back to the office we were in, so we were never refunded the remaining $25. I came in fearful of a bad experience because you always hear horror stories about dealerships and car salesman. We drove all the way from Rhode Island to New York, which is a three hour drive without traffic, because your dealership was rated NY Chevrolet Dealer of the year in 2012, yet I don't know how that is possible based on my experience. The first day we were there everything was great. Everyone was super friendly and joking around. We were promised this and that and were assured that we had nothing to worry about yet when we came back to close it was the complete opposite experience. We were lied to and received multiple contradicting information. Purchasing the car out of state seemed like a real disadvantage because now that I am in my state I am being told to simply bring my issues to another dealership when they were supposed to be addressed before I left with the vehicle. This experience left such a bad taste in my mouth that I am truly in shock. If you are looking to purchase a vehicle I recommend staying away from this dealership at all cost. More

I am so glad that she worked so hard to help me get approved for a loan and helped me get the car that I need/wanted.
