Unfortunately, you're correct that the Honda warranty doesn't cover valve adjustments for your specific model. However, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We strive to provide transparent and comprehensive service, and we're always happy to explain warranty limitations. Honda has, in the past, released service bulletins regarding valve adjustments on other models. One can be found here https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2023/MC-10229676-0001.pdf - We recommended you open a case with American Honda as it is out of our authority to warranty a repair without Honda approval. As we did perform all the repairs we could under warranty for you as well as complete the valve adjustment your vehicle needed as agreed to, we kindly ask that you reconsider your review of our service department as your valve adjust not being covered under warrant is out of our control.
