I recently took my 2011 Hyundai Sonata in to Discover Hyundai’s service center in Scottsdale, AZ for a scheduled 6000 mile service and checkup. As per usual, I ran into the smiling face and personality o Hyundai’s service center in Scottsdale, AZ for a scheduled 6000 mile service and checkup. As per usual, I ran into the smiling face and personality of Tim Hodder. He emerged from his office with a big smile and friendly greeting which included a handshake, followed by telling me “Good morning Mr. Smith, how are you today?” We exchanged a few pleasantries and then Tim did a quick walk around my car and checked the mileage. He next indicated that my car would be ready in about 50 minutes and I informed him I would wait in the reception area. He said “all right, I’ll come and get you when it is ready.” I went to the reception area where I enjoyed a cup of coffee and several complimentary mini Dunkin’ Doughnuts and watched the CNN Morning News on the TV. About 50 minutes later, Tim called out, “Mr. Smith, your vehicle is ready.” He said my car was fine and that they had changed the oil, washed it and that it was ready to go. I paid the bill and went into the service area, said thanks and goodbye to Tim as he opened the car door for me, got in and drove away. As I drove home shortly before 9:00a.m., I thought, “What a pleasant experience. I didn’t have to wait long. Friendly and courteous service and it only took a little over an hour. Thanks to Tim and Discover Hyundai, I had the whole day to look forward to. Thank you Tim and Discover Hyundai. More

If possible, they are friendlier each time I am there and the service shows excellent quality of work as well as timely completion - usually the service is finished before it is promised. I have never had an issue in any respect. I believe everyone here really cares about what they are doing. My impression is that there is a very positive attitude throughout the dealerdhip. More
Going to Discover Hyundai is like going home for Christmas. You get to see the whole family and you go home with a great big smile on your face. Your car is as clean and shiny as when you bought it and if you go for dinner, you might get a few presents too. To my wife and I, Tim Hodder is our Santa Claus. He absolutely personifies the description of a what a service oriented employee should be. He takes such good care of our beautiful 2011 Sonata Limited you would think that he owned it. The entire service department is terrific but if Tim ever leaves, we're going with him!!!!! More

The sales team did a great job getting me the car I wanted - it took about 3 weeks for it to arrive and for that period they loaned me a new Santa Fe to have something to drive around in (I had sold my previous car on Craigslist). I have had my car serviced 4 times since the purchase and worked witrh Tim each time. He has given me a sense of trust and confidence in what he recommends and has always provided quick and excellent customer service. When I needed a new wheelwell splashguard, Tim gave me an excellent price for the part and the install. It had come off in a car wash. I purchased a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe, and a 2008 Santa Fe Limited for my wife at the Scottsdale Hyundai on Haydon Road. After they closed I took my cars to another dealer that was recommended by Hyundai. I w Limited for my wife at the Scottsdale Hyundai on Haydon Road. After they closed I took my cars to another dealer that was recommended by Hyundai. I was very unhappy with the other dealers service. I was having thoughts about trading both cars in on a different brand. Then I found out that Discover Hyundai was opening just down from the previous location on Haydon. The first time I took my car there I met Tim Hodder. He greeted me immediately upon my arrival, looked up my service records and responded to what I needed done. I have purchased a lot of cars in my day but have never met a service adviser as knowledgeable and friendly as Tim. He is a great guy and makes you feel part of the Hyundai family. I mentioned to Tim that I was thinking about trading in my 2007. He took me and introduced me to Tony the sales manager and to Frank the GM. They gave me a great deal on a 2010 Elantra SE and worked hard to make the deal. When I decided to trade in my wifes car again I went to Tony and Frank and bought her a 2011 Sonata Limited. Again, I will never buy a car from anybody else. Discover Hyundai is a great dealer and I will recommend them to anybody who is willing to listen. More

We especially appreciate the fact that he tells us in very thorough terms what is needed and, most imporantly, when. Tim advised us a few months ago of brake pads that were wearing on our Hyundai, but that they still had XX amount of surface, and would not have to be replaced for a couple thousand miles. He also told us what to look for that would signal the need for immediate replacement. When we took the vehicle back at the alloted time, they still had sufficient usable surface.On our 3d trip (for servicing) Tim advised that "now is the time". This type of attention to both safety needs and our wallets is one of the things that make his service outstanding. Such fun to deal with, too! I usually hate going to get my car fixed but Tim and the Discover Team have made it a pleasant experience. I have never had to wait an extra day to get it back like I had to at another dealership. I love that it gets cleaned too and it always looks better than when I drop it off. Overall, it has been trouble free and I have only had to take it in for routine maintenance and very minor things. I can't wait until I can buy my next Sante Fe from them! More
