If I had wanted my car to be destroyed by faulty parts with no appreciable warranty, I’d have fixed it myself, and if I wanted to be treated like garbage by a service manager on a power trip, I’d have looked in the mirror and berated my reflection. Even the complimentary car was was botched. Bird xxxxxxxxx and boot prints everywhere. What happened to disposable floor mats? More
Don't bother buying a Chevy or servicing it here Purchased a brand new 2015 Silverado. On the way home the truck had a horrible shimmy. When I pulled in my driveway the radio went completely dead. Ca Purchased a brand new 2015 Silverado. On the way home the truck had a horrible shimmy. When I pulled in my driveway the radio went completely dead. Called the dealership to bring it in and have it checked. Scheduled an appt for Saturday. When I got here was turned away and told I needed to bring it in on Monday. Brought it in. They balanced my tires and still had the same problem. They did nothing about the radio issue. I have had 3 different sets of wheels on the truck. All of which were balanced perfectly as they had not a single wobble on my suburban. Now with 4K miles on the truck the tire monitoring system is not working properly. Here's the kicker. The dealership won't fix the issue because I have aftermarket wheels on the truck with the original pressure sensors. Also will not figure out the shimmy saying I need to pay for new sensors and to figure out the shimmy that it has had since day 1. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME BUYING A CHEVY UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY FOR ALL THE WORK THAT SHOULD BE UNDER WARRANTY. I'm taking a brand new truck with 4K miles on it and taking the loss and going back to Toyota. At least they honor their warranty. Factory wheels or not More

Bad service from sales and service dept. Went in and purchased a vehicle. Wanted to keep my existing tires and wheels. Was told that it would be no problem. We would have to pay to have it do Went in and purchased a vehicle. Wanted to keep my existing tires and wheels. Was told that it would be no problem. We would have to pay to have it done but it would be "next to nothing and would only take a few minutes". The service dept was closed so took it back the next morning. Not only did it take 4 hours, yes 4 hours but they charged me $200 to do it. Tried to talk to the salesman and Mgr from the night before but they wouldn't come out of the offices and avoided me the entire time. Got truck home and the tire alert is on and have to take it back because they did something wrong or broke sensor. I would not recommend this location. More
Bad Service and Customer Service I got my car serviced 2 days ago, oil change and tires rotated and when they returned it, the oil service light was going on and off. I let one of the I got my car serviced 2 days ago, oil change and tires rotated and when they returned it, the oil service light was going on and off. I let one of the service consultants know before driving off the lot. They told me to bring back up their if it continues. I went back the day after to see what the problem is. They took it to the back for 45 minutes while several people after me came and gone. They came back and said it was the oil sensor switch. You can just determine that just by what the oil light was doing. They told me I need to replace it and it was going to cost me $35, I refused to pay because it was in the mechanics hands when they changed the oil. My light was not doing that prior to bringing it in for an oil change. When they brought my vehicle back, other things was malfunctioning. My Driver side window was not going down on the one touch, I have to hold it down for it to go down. Also, all my radio stations were all reset. When they told me that they were going to bring my car around because i refused to pay, it took them a half hour to bring to me. They didn't have to put anything back together, so what was they doing. They have lack integrity!!!! I will not recommend this dealership to anyone. And I will say it again, they lack of integrity!!!! Steve Markey(manager) was not very helpful nor did he treat the customer(me) fair. What's $35 to them? Plus my car functioning good, prior to getting an oil change with THEM. More

Once they go The middle of March I brought my 1998 corvette in to Thorobred to get an oil and transmission leak fixed. The quote was for around $1600. Once they got into the repair, George (my service rep) called to tell me that the radiator bracket was bent and the repair was going to go up to $2200. I wasn't happy with the price creep, but what are you going to do once they're that far in? I authorized the repair. I got the car home and drove it lightly for a few weeks, maybe 150 miles or so. I noticed that there was transmission fluid on the garage! I took it back and George informed me that it was just left over fluid, they cleaned out the radiator again and it's not a problem. Great, I get the car home and go to replace the turn signal bulb that they've told me was burned out and I found the bottom portion of the inner fender liner had been torn apart. I KNOW the fender liner wasn't damaged before Thorobred started working on the car, because I had just fixed a minor coolant leak in that area. I took the car back again because they wanted to see the damage and was informed that any repair their body shop could make wouldn't be strong enough and I should just leave the damage alone and live with it. do you know what you are doing? Rick Hamilton is the worst! Told him what was wrong and it got fixed so I thought. He said everything was ok and i said i wanted to take it for a test Rick Hamilton is the worst! Told him what was wrong and it got fixed so I thought. He said everything was ok and i said i wanted to take it for a test drive to see. What i got from Rick was "What you don't trust me?" i said i just want to make sure. He threw a fit and stormed inside and said he was done playing games, so we paid the bill and went down the road. We got 15 minutes down the road and started having the same problems we brought the car in for. We turned around and went back and on the way there my car started to sputter and jerk. After looking the car over again, several problems were found after Rick claimed everything was fixed. I will never go back to this dealer ever again. Rick, you suck!!! More

I have searched 25 years for this type of Dealership - I've always wanted to find a Chevy dealer I felt was knowledgable, friendly and cost conscious. Most of all, I wanted to find a Service Dept. that I I've always wanted to find a Chevy dealer I felt was knowledgable, friendly and cost conscious. Most of all, I wanted to find a Service Dept. that I could rely on and depend on to have the skills and knowledge to get to the heart of any problem issues - my goal was to find a Chevrolet Dealership that when I drove off the lot after a major repair - I could and would have the feeling of knowing it was fixed by the best. This (Thorobred Chevrolet) is that place! All the people mentioned, especially Steve Marley, took the time to explain everything thoroughly and provided detailed information to every one of my issues and questions. Through several days of interaction with this group, and performing separate inquiries, I found this entire group to be the most knowledgable people I've ever in my life run across. Their level of expertise and knowledge is simply unsurpassed, and I've been in and out of Chevrolet dealerships for 45 years, both buying vehicles and taking vehicles in for service/repair. This team of people at Thorobred Chevrolet are the experts and the best in the business. They treated me, and my specific questions and concerns with respect and on a very timely schedule - making sure I fully understood the repair procedures on a pick-up in for major repair, as well as on a new vehicle I purchased while at their place of business. In all instances, including the major repairs, as well as the purchase of a new vehicle - I felt strongly the pricing and my costs were very fair; it was a win-win for everybody. All in all, I don't believe I'll ever find a team of people with more expert knowledge and skill to take care of issues -- and who will listen and work with me in such a friendly manner. Thorobred Chevrolet is MY Dealer for life, both in Service/repairs and for new vehicles. Mitch Stallard More
