Bad Repairs & excessive time to complete Vehicle brought in for warranty service on repair work that previous repairs that did not work. I have used this dealership to perform gasket & seal r Vehicle brought in for warranty service on repair work that previous repairs that did not work. I have used this dealership to perform gasket & seal replacements that were performed in April of 2018 that needed fixing again in November of 2018. Vehicle dropped off at November 30 for a "so called" one week repair - appointment made 1 week in advance. Vehicle repairs took over 6 weeks to complete. These repairs should not have had to be done a second time and should never have taken 6 weeks to complete Dealerships "excuse was one seal/gasket was not available from zone or GM; that's ridiculous. I have been using this Chevrolet Dealership for over 15 years and never had a "fix" take so long. God they could have rebuilt a whole car in this time!. I used to highly recommend Dyer and prior name of Service Chevrolet. Brandon was always professional - but "someone" should have gotten "Management" involved" Needless I'm really disappointed in Dyer taking so long to repair my vehicle, REALLY Disappointed! More
Embarasing , un-professional, a complete disapointment. I will never recommend this dealership nor their terrible service staff after our 2013 Chevrolet Equinox had to be towed for a faulty transfer case br I will never recommend this dealership nor their terrible service staff after our 2013 Chevrolet Equinox had to be towed for a faulty transfer case breakdown. We were initially told that the work would be completely covered by the 5 year/100,000 mile warranty. Our vehicle was at this dealership on January 29 2018 and had 48,283 miles on it. Dyer Chev. in Vero Beach Florida and GM USA would not use their Goodwill program to help us (Canadians) and kept us stranded without a vehicle for 1 1/2 weeks. If possible try and deal with any other dealer if you have an option. More
Beware of Service Department BEWARE of Service Dept. SCAMS - Took my 2016 Traverse in for 30K maintenance and ended up with a Fuel injection flush or ???(No GM recommendation at a BEWARE of Service Dept. SCAMS - Took my 2016 Traverse in for 30K maintenance and ended up with a Fuel injection flush or ???(No GM recommendation at any mileage), a coolant flush (GM recommends @150k, a transmission flush (GM recommends @45k). Unfortunately I did not read Chevy guide to see maintenance needed at 30k prior to going to appointment. By the time I thought of using my phone to look up GM recommended 30k maintenance.the tech was finishing up according to the Dyer advisor who checked me in. He further stated that these flushes were needed because FL has severe weather conditions which according to GM and the Dyer person who called me NOT true. The Dyer rep called in response to survey I returned to Dyer which I complained about the extra services their advisor said were necessary, I explained that I signed off on service because I did not want to void my extended maintenance contract. We reached an agreement that she would give me a credit for the coolant flush/replacement and the fuel injector flush and I would pay for transmission flush and brake flush. I asked her to send me an email to confirm our conversation after she talked to her manager, she didn't and I lost my notes. Another cause for concern is whether the work was actually done given that coolant was not to be changed until 150k, Fuel Induction - I had no problems and GM has NO recommendation for this service, Transmission was to be done at 45k NOT 30k which causes another problem as Dyer told me to wait until 75k, but if it was not performed??? I had a good experience when I purchased my car from Dyer, but if you can not trust the service department it is not the place for me. Your spend a couple of hours purchasing the car, but the service department is for the life of your car. I am also worried that Dyer was taking advantage of me because of my age and figured they could just sell me the additional services. In the long run making a few bucks off me they have lost a good customer and more than likely the sale of another car as my wife is looking to purchase an Equinox. More

They diagnosed the problem and replaced the ignition coil in no time.Rose is very knowledgeable and pleasant to speak to. It was a pleasure to deal with her and know I was in good hands. She was very on top of mine and other vehicles at the same time. Thank you Rose for making my crisis seem better. Sincerely, Clay Duval More

Battery issue I have a 2009 GMC Sierra SLE 1500 4x4 that I purchased new in Alabama. In 2012 I started taking my truck to Dyer Chevrolet to let them do all the service work on it and I have been totally satisfied with the service performed and service staff until today. Today I took my truck in because it was starting up slowly and felt like I had a battery issue as the battery had been in the truck since 2/13/14 when it was installed at Dyer in Vero Beach. I was told that the problem might not be the battery and that a diagnostic check needed to be done at a cost of $124.00 to make sure that there wasn't some other issues. But that if it ended up being the battery it would cost me an additional $170.00 for a battery and $64.00 to install it. That would be over $358.00 plus tax. I told them that was way to much and that I would not do it. But I did ask them if they couldn't just check the battery to see if it was going bad for me as I had been a loyal customer since 2012 and they agreed to do that. But after checking the battery I was told that the battery was good. But that it still was not turning my motor fast enough when starting it. And that they could put a battery in at a cost of $170.00 for the battery plus $64.00 to install it for a total of $234.00 plus tax.but that still might not solve my problem. I opted out of doing that. And left and went to the nearest Advance Auto parts store where they performed a diagnostic check of my battery and charging system FOR FREE and told me that the battery was bad and not holding a good charge. So I had them install a 725 cranking amp battery with a 3 year free replacement warranty for only $173.26 total and would you believe it they even INSTALLED IT FOR FREE. This solved my problem and saved me $188 plus dollars that Dyer would have charged me to diagnose the problem and install a battery. My truck starts and cranks up good and as it should now with no issues. Just can't understand why Dyer would try and charge me so much as I had been a loyal customer for over 5 years since 2012. At this point I am not sure whether I will continue to let Dyer do my service, maintenance and warranty work on my truck. As I will have to think about it. More

Arrived @ 9:00 am and was sitting there until a little after 1:00, ok they were busy and gave a card for a free detail. She said everyone treated her well and were nice. But..... I am updating the review, although Brandon did not return my call on my phone he did call my wife's phone Shortly after the original review was posted. He did take the time to explain that they had to take the truck to the interstate to test the truck for the vibrations at highway speeds which explains the 30 miles on the vehicle. And he did offer for her to come by and get some fuel which we won't do but is appreciated. Keep your customers informed about things like this and a lot of time is saved. Thanks. More
Worst service center ever Where do I begin...we leased a Cruze for 2 years. While doing the finance paperwork the gentleman asked if we wanted to purchase an extended warranty. Where do I begin...we leased a Cruze for 2 years. While doing the finance paperwork the gentleman asked if we wanted to purchase an extended warranty. Hello, the car has a 3 year 30,000 mile factory warranty. When we handed that Cruze in for a second lease we told the salesman what that finance guy said at the last deal. He said "he needs to feed his family too" ! Now on to service. In the beginning everything was great but as time went on...we moved to Florida driving a 2008 equinox. We had Dyer change a headlight in the equinox, when we got the vehicle back my husband notice that one of the metal clamps were missing. He had to bring it back and found out that they had broken it and wanted to replace it with a plastic clip. We declined and insisted they order the correct part. They agreed to but then forgot to call us when it came in, we had to call about 3 weeks later to see what was up with our part order. We had the oil changed on the equinox last summer before going to CT on vacation and asked Dyer to look over the vehicle so we wouldn't have a problem. We got to CT with oil leaking. We went to our original CT dealer who fixed the problem, oil pan gasket but also found that the air intake had been broken and glued together. Dyer was the one to work on it during a recall issue. Dyer wanted to blame it on the CT dealer. We then took the leased Cruze in for an oil change the service manager asked us who else services our vehicle, we never go anywhere but the authorized dealer. We told him that Dyer was the only one to service the vehicle. The bolt on the oil pan had been chewed and they wanted to blame it elsewhere. This week we went for another oil change and advised them that we had a squeaky noise coming from the engine. They claimed it was the tensioner belt. They replaced it and gave us the car. As soon as we started the vehicle my husband got out and instantly heard the squeak again. You mean to tell me the mechanic didnt check and notice the noise. Not sure what kind of mechanics they hire at Dyer. When my husband complained it was brought up by the service manager that there was a service bulletin regarding the exact thing that we were experiencing. Now if the car wasn't still under warranty we would have paid for the tensioner belt that wasn't the problem. They are ripping off service customers like crazy. Totally unacceptable! More
