If I could leave 0 stars I would. I am very happy with the sales dept. especially Jhon. The service dept. is absolutely horrible. My engine blew in Feb 2023, the dealer stated that it was caused by poor maintenance because I didn’t have proof of oil changes for the last 20,000 miles. Previously, Dyer had supposedly changed the oil almost exclusively since I bought the truck in November 2020. Dyer quoted me a price of $9,000 to rebuild the engine. I found a certified Chevy mechanic who did the same work for $5,800.00. Once he took the engine apart, he said the problem was that the truck had very few oil changes. It looked as though the filter was changed but the oil was only topped off. After the engine was completely rebuilt, it would start but stall out almost immediately. My mechanic said his GM tech told him to have the truck brought back to the dealer for a diagnostic test as it appeared to be a gasoline issue. The car was brought to Dyer on 7/27/23. I spoke to Matt who was my advisor and he told me on Friday, that they’d have an answer on Sat 7/29 or Mon 7/31 the latest. After not hearing anything, I emailed my advisor on Tuesday 8/1 for an update. I did receive a call but no answer. Finally on Wednesday afternoon, I got a call from Matt saying I need a new engine at a cost of $10,000.00. I told my mechanic who went to the dealership to speak with the tech working on the truck. It turns out that the truck hasn’t even been looked at. I should mention that my mechanic used to work at Dyer but left over a salary dispute. An hour and a half after he met with the mechanic, Dyer called me to say I needed a new engine. I am so over this dealer. I will never have anything to do with them ever again. More
So I brought my 2018 Suburban in for an AC repair, shocking, as they all end up getting worked on at some point. Fortunately I have a 3rd party warranty plan. I was told by my warranty company that everything would be covered except fluids and Freon. When I went to pick up my vehicle I was told I was responsible for $502. I asked to see a detailed breakdown of the charges which he told me that it was complicated and he did not have one. I said that it was ridiculous and demanded a detailed bill. So he showed me another bill which had a different price and then a third bill which had another price. This seems so typical to try and get more money out of hard working people. More

We have been customers of Dyer Chevrolet service in Vero Beach Florida for years, even before when it was Service Chevrolet. The service staff used to be helpful and available to us. Not now! We have called several times, to the service manager and the service advisor to find out when the parts, that we had to pay for in advance, would be in. It has been over a week since then and we are not able to talk with anyone except for an operator. We leave messages and no one returns our calls. They have our money but care not about giving answers! I would not recommend this service department to anyone. More

BEWARE - he then said we had over an hour wait- they should not be making appointments if they are not going to keep them!! I walked out -two strikes against them for trying to charge me more and for the over 1 hour wait WITH AN APPOINTMENT! When I called the operator said tbh had appointments available every half hour from 130-330 so they were still accepting appointments even though they were over an hour behind!! More
The people here are very nice,very respectful. However I have had multiple problems here. It seems this location isn't set up with the tools they need for success. I actually kind of feel bad for leaving a negative review because you can tell the people want to help.The reality of the situation is 3 out of 4 my experiences here have been negative. After finding a new place of business to handle my vehicle they reached out to me wanting me to come back and handle my recalls and maintenance. I respectfully let them know I was not interested becuase of past problems. The nice lady assured me things have changed and it will be different. I had them set up my rental, my appointment time and verified this vis phone and email. When I arrived nothing was ready, they didnt have a vehicle and had to call a rental service that would have take 30-40 minutes after paper work. Maybe I'm a special case as my time is important. I could tell the manager was irritated while talking with me and trust me inwill never waste his time again. I can not do business here anymore. On a side note i could not comprehend the fact when i dropped my vehicle off for service they had cars/trucks saved for upcoming appointments. My appointment was validated days in advance and thought I would have a vehicle ready like they ensured me they would three times. I had no vehicle to work with, meaning If I was to get a vehicle had to have Hertz pick me up from the dealership, drive me to the local airport, do there paper work and then make it work. More
