Beware of Service Department BEWARE of Service Dept. SCAMS - Took my 2016 Traverse in for 30K maintenance and ended up with a Fuel injection flush or ???(No GM recommendation at a BEWARE of Service Dept. SCAMS - Took my 2016 Traverse in for 30K maintenance and ended up with a Fuel injection flush or ???(No GM recommendation at any mileage), a coolant flush (GM recommends @150k, a transmission flush (GM recommends @45k). Unfortunately I did not read Chevy guide to see maintenance needed at 30k prior to going to appointment. By the time I thought of using my phone to look up GM recommended 30k maintenance.the tech was finishing up according to the Dyer advisor who checked me in. He further stated that these flushes were needed because FL has severe weather conditions which according to GM and the Dyer person who called me NOT true. The Dyer rep called in response to survey I returned to Dyer which I complained about the extra services their advisor said were necessary, I explained that I signed off on service because I did not want to void my extended maintenance contract. We reached an agreement that she would give me a credit for the coolant flush/replacement and the fuel injector flush and I would pay for transmission flush and brake flush. I asked her to send me an email to confirm our conversation after she talked to her manager, she didn't and I lost my notes. Another cause for concern is whether the work was actually done given that coolant was not to be changed until 150k, Fuel Induction - I had no problems and GM has NO recommendation for this service, Transmission was to be done at 45k NOT 30k which causes another problem as Dyer told me to wait until 75k, but if it was not performed??? I had a good experience when I purchased my car from Dyer, but if you can not trust the service department it is not the place for me. Your spend a couple of hours purchasing the car, but the service department is for the life of your car. I am also worried that Dyer was taking advantage of me because of my age and figured they could just sell me the additional services. In the long run making a few bucks off me they have lost a good customer and more than likely the sale of another car as my wife is looking to purchase an Equinox. More

He told me in a text he 'wouldn't do that' unless we reached an agreement. I have his texts on my cell to prove it. Long story short, he wanted too much for the car so I declined. He pulled my scores anyway. He even had the audacity to text me at midnight trying to prove his point and called me ' Bro'. Bro? I'm 59 not 22, lol. Totally disrespectful. When I told him I'm telling corporate what he's been doing he said 'Have fun spinning your wheels with that'. Nice customer service right? I hope their car sits on the lot for 6 months. Don't waste your time going there unless you like having your credit scores pulled illegally and being disrespected by 'kiddie salesmen'. UPDATE Just wanted to add that I bought a 2015 Volt Premium yesterday 5/9/18 for $1,000 less than Dyer wanted from David Maus Chevrolet in Sanford. They also gave me $2,000 more for my trade in on my 2013 Nissan Murano SL. In and out in 2 hours. Certified car with extra 1 year warranty for free, 5 months Onstar for free, navigation system, leather seats, Bose entertainment system, free XM radio for 5 months, salesman who didn't call me 'Bro', and a much better experience than lame xxx Dyer. It was all done with email. Show up, sign and drive. The way it should be. No liars like Cody, etc. Dyer are a bunch of saps and should learn from David Maus, lol. UPDATE Hahaha! Stupid Dyer just dropped the overpriced 2014 Volt I was interested in by $200. If they weren't so greedy, they could have sold it to me. What a bunch of buffoons, lol. More

Rose in the service department. I called while on the road having truck problems and Rose got me right in. Buyer beware Had a horrible experience in the finance office recently at Dyer Chevy in Vero Beach. The man was not transparent at all during the entire process. He never told me my credit score after 4 inquiries were made on my credit report. I was getting the alerts on my phone ! I knew my credit score was excellent. He never said: " based on your excellent credit score here are your options with apr,rebates,loan terms etc." He spent all of his time trying to sell extended warranty,paint protection,gap insurance,etc. he would always say how much it was per month but never the total amount or how many months that actually was. I told him I didn't want any extras. he never disclosed the lowest rates he could get from the 4 inquiries that were made on my credit report and let me choose . They could care less about being fair honest and ethical and exceeding the customers expectations. My salesman Matt was excellent but the business office do not have the customers best interest at heart and obviously don't care if you ever come back. Buyer beware ! More
