Friendly, easy going service environment. Waiting area was pleasant. Way better experience than when I owned a Toyota and was at their dealership for service - I mean, they don't even serve Waiting area was pleasant. So, bonus points for Dyer Chevy for creating a nice environment. However, Toyota will run the car through the wash before handing it back. Something for Dyer to think about adding as an extra client satisfier. Certainly not a deal breaker for choosing this location by any means. Another thing to consider is the texting notification. This could be leveraged more. After my initial text, I thought this would be used to give updates. This would make me feel better about wandering around if I am not sitting right in the waiting room. If I knew I would get a text saying either" Please report to Giovanni at the Service Desk" or "Your car is ready" would give me some peace of mind that someone doesn't need to be out looking for me. One other thing I would like to have is confirmation of my car's systems checked. "We did the '15 point inspection' and everything looks good for now. You may want to consider that your brake pad linings may need to be changed on your next appointment. We typically do that at 30,000 miles or if we see they need it immediately, of course". Something like that to give me a heads up that something is coming down the pike. It helps me plan financially (if it's a service I think I'll opt in on) and also helps me plan my time if more wait time may be expected. A cost rundown at the beginning of the conversation would be good too. "Oil change will be x dollars, rotation is x. We have a ten percent coupon to add, so you'll get x dollars off for that". But, overall, the service guys are friendly and there isn't this weird, unnecessary extra layer of service like they do at the Toyota dealership. The guy that greets you at the car is the one that takes you inside and works with you. The operation is a smooth, experience and the waiting area is calm and pleasant. You have water, you have coffee, you have plug-ins for phones and electric and you have clean bathrooms..and good air conditoning. What else would anyone need? ..and everyone is friendly and polite enough to laugh at your stupid jokes. : ) More
