My wife could not be there when I picked up the truck so Malcolm called my house to set up a good time to then go over all the options on the car with her as well. I was unsure if I would be making a purchase or not on the day of the Community First Credit Union 'Special Day' Car sale. Although I had planned to return to another dealer's salesman w/ questions regar the day of the Community First Credit Union 'Special Day' Car sale. Although I had planned to return to another dealer's salesman w/ questions regarding different car across the lot, Jay Cunninham's approach was delightful and friendly (the other saleman was friendly as well, but different). Jay was very knowledgable of the car. Demonstrated features and provided answers to my questions. Was not aggressive at all. He offered to allow us to look but let us know that he was available when needed. Well, he didn't get very far. I had questions and he readily provided the answers, smiling the whole time. Now, the color ... this one, that one or the other? He simply said, "which one do YOU like?" He took us on a test drive. You'd have thought that it was my first time behind a wheel. He stuck with us throughout the sale and picked us up in the rain once the process was completed. Because of a misunderstanding on my part regarding the tag, both Jay and his manager assisted me with transferring my tag from my previously owned car. I appreciated that very much. Although I hate being a bother to anyone, I'm never made to feel that I am whenever I call Jay to inquire about a matter. I work in a physician's office and it means so much to patient's to know that they are genuinely cared for and that we are truly concern about them and their needs. It is so very important that this is reflected in the voice as well because it can easily be detected over the phone. Even over the phone I can tell that Jay is smiling just as he did at the time that he assisted us with the sale. "Thank you" for everything Jay! After a lengthy search for a truck in my area I was directed to Duval Ford which I went through the internet and searched for what I wanted. I found a truck, I THOUGHT, I wanted. I spoke with Malcom Daigle and set an appt with him on Saturday morning at 9 am, Malcom was not due to come to work on Sat until 10 but came in early to meet with me. After driving 2 hours to get to Duval due to my lack of knowledge about trucks... the truck I wanted was not for me. Malcom spent his whole day finding me what I wanted at the price I wanted. I spent 71/2 hours at the dealership and thanks to Malcoms amazing attitude it only felt like 3 hours. Malcom and Dan went out of their way to get me exactly what I wanted. I usually fell an extreme amount of anxiety when making a large purchase but Malcom made me feel very comfortable and I felt an unusual amount of calm during this purchase. Will definitely recommend this dealership and direct anyone looking to Malcom Daigle for their purchase. More
I have bought cars from Duval Ford in the past so I took my wife there one afternoon to see what used vehicles they had on the lot. My wife doesn't like car shopping at all because of past experiences with other dealerships and I can be straight forward. I won't hesitate to walk away if I am not satisfied with price or the people I am dealing with. Darlene greeted us and offered to take us around and show us what was available. My wife seemed to feel comfortable talking and discussing what she was interested in. Although we found a vehicle I was interested in we left without even test driving it. A few days later I asked my wife if she would go back to Duval Ford and take another look around. She told me only if Darlene was there and I agreed. I called and let her know we were coming in to look at more used vehicles. She sounded happy to hear it and was ready when we got there. She took her time and told us about each vehicle we asked about. When we wanted to keep looking she smiled and helped us find another one. She would say that she wanted us to be happy with any vehicle we bought. It was obvious that was a main concern to her. With her help we narrowed it down to two vehicles and test drove them both. My wife and I settled on one and Darlene started the paperwork. We went through the normal routine, going back and forth. She stayed my wife the whole time only leaving when necessary. She had the vehicle we bought cleaned and ready for us when we were done with finance. Even helped move our stuff from one car to another. The whole time I couldn't help but notice how she made my wife feel comfortable. My wife stated that if or when we go back to Duval Ford looking for a car in the future, Darlene is who she would ask for. I didn't think I would ever hear mention about future car buying from her. By the way. Although the thought came across my mind, not once did I seriously consider just walking away. I didn't have to. Thank you Darlene and Duval Ford for making this one of the best experiences my wife and I have had shopping for a vehicle. More
My sales Associate Darlene Graham took amazing care of me before, during and after my purchase. She went back and forth with the dealership to get me the best price possible. She found me incentives such as a discount for disabled veterans and so on. Never once did she pressure me and it was more like "mom" looking out for you. If you are buying with Duval and want a real sweet honest to goodness person to purchase from be sure to see Darlene. She is great and from what I got from the experience, is she just loves to see people happy with their purchase. This is my second car from Duval and probably not the last due to how Darlene took care of me. A true diamond in the ruff when it comes to sales associates. More
I went to Duval Ford because I had bought a Ford Ranger there years ago. I remembered how friendly they were, and that I felt like I was not pressured, or treated as if I was some dumb female who knew noth there years ago. I remembered the trust I felt the first time, so I did not even look anywhere else this time. My first encounter with an associate took place within 30 seconds of parking. He introduced himself as Ashley Rosser, and asked how he could help me. He listened to me and then walked me thru the dealership. We then went outside and got into a golf type cart and he drove me back to where the new vehicles were parked. He worked with me in finding a vehicle in my color choices and price ranges. No pressure, no bull, just pure honesty. Ashley took the time to explain everything to me about the truck I chose. I now own a new Ford F-150. I was thrilled with the service I received, and would gladly recommend Duval Ford, and Ashley, to my friends. Also I still feel that wonderful feeling of trust. Thank's Duval Ford. I will definitely be back for my next vehicle. More
I was referred to Duval Ford by one of my neighbors who works there.I have owned a number of Fords over the years and have had very good experience with them. When I walked in to the store,I was impressed by cleanliness of the store. I was greated by "Gunny" and took an immediate liking to him. He seemed honest and interested in my needs. We discussed what I was looking for. We took a test drive in the V-6 Mustang Premium Pony in the color I wanted. I was real impressed with the car. Because of recurrent lower back problems, I wanted the heated seats. Gunny coordinated a search of SE dealers to find me the exact same car with heated seats. He found the car for me and exceeded my expectations because the car had dual heated power seats with power lumbar and the back-up camera! The Mustang is everything that I had wanted and more. I'm very happy! I have absolutely no hesitations to recommend Duval Ford to anyone I talk with. Thank you! More

My husband went to Duval to look at a used vehicle we had found online. The car was sold and he then became interested in a new vehicle. We had looked at a few Ford dealerships, but the truck my husband wa found online. The car was sold and he then became interested in a new vehicle. We had looked at a few Ford dealerships, but the truck my husband wanted was at Duval. When I went to meet my husband at Duval, the salespeople in the parking lot when you pull in were like vultures. A saleswoman even paced outside my door until I opened it. That was extremely uncomfortable. Duval worked to beat the price we were given at a competitor. However, the experience with Wayne, whom I believe was a finance manager, was not good. The manner in which he spoke to the saleswoman and myself was rude and offensive. I didn't like the shadiness from this guy the first time I met him and my feelings towards him only got worse when we came in to finish the deal. While our saleswoman was friendly and helpful, we ultimately purchased the truck we wanted at Mike Shad of Orange Park where every person we dealt with was extremely friendly and professional and the customer service was exceptional! More
