Above and Beyond Customer Service Heading home on I-95 from Cocoa Beach to Bluffton, SC, I had no air conditioning despite having it serviced two weeks prior to my trip. Just north of Heading home on I-95 from Cocoa Beach to Bluffton, SC, I had no air conditioning despite having it serviced two weeks prior to my trip. Just north of I-10 I smelled something burning and saw smoke coming from my engine and exhaust. I was able to get off the highway and called for a tow to the nearest Ford dealer, Duval Ford. I called ahead that I would be towed in. The assigned service manager wasn't able to great me but Sheila did and got things started. The intitial diagnosis of the problem turned into a series of mechanical failures. David Leon kept me informed of the issues and rising costs as the hours passed. Michael Brooks stayed late trying to solve the problem and get me back on the road. When it became apparent it was too late to get parts at first they mentioned taking me to a local hotel but since I had my dog they decided on giving me a loaner to get all the way home. When it was determined the vehicle was fully operative the next day David called and I was able to drive back to my ready to go car. David and Michael were very good in explaining what the additional problems were. I'm still trying to have the dealer who worked on the ac before my trip address the concerns brought to my attention. More
