Crazy Dealership I was referred to Duval Ford by the Ford website regarding a 2016 Shelby GT350 Mustang I am interested in purchasing. The salesman contacted me and s I was referred to Duval Ford by the Ford website regarding a 2016 Shelby GT350 Mustang I am interested in purchasing. The salesman contacted me and said they don't have any in stock and don't plan to get any. Then later he contacted me again and he wanted me to participate in an auction for one they plan to receive. I asked for information about it and he referred me to the Ford website for the details (which I had already visited) and couldn't tell me anything about the particular car, what color it is, what options it has (didn't even understand what the word "option" means). Very pushy and wanted me to commit to participate in his auction but couldn't describe the vehicle, or even provide a date for the auction. I don't think Ford is serious about selling these cars. MSRP is clearly listed on their website and I'm not interested in paying over MSRP for a Mustang, even if it is a Shelby. More

Great truck buying experience! Thank you Gunney! This was the third dealership I visited looking for a hard to find Ram 2500 4x4 Laramie with a 8 foot bed. Having to travel to find the truck, I made This was the third dealership I visited looking for a hard to find Ram 2500 4x4 Laramie with a 8 foot bed. Having to travel to find the truck, I made first contact by phone with salesmen. The first two dealerships treated me like a fish on a hook,thinking I would not walk after traveling so far. Then I found my truck on the Duval ford website. I contacted David "Gunney" Moore and shared with him my experience. Gunney and I pretty much made the deal over the phone. When I arrived at the dealership there was no surprises. I got a fair trade in value for my Ram 1500 4x4 Laramie and the deal was closed in about two hours. Gunney is the type of salesman you hope to find when visiting a dealership, a straight talking professional,that not only walks you through the process but actually cares that you get a fair deal. Duval Ford is lucky to have such a pro representing them. Also many thanks to Chris Hayes who the paper work end of the deal almost fun! More
Poor Experience for First Oil Change I brought my vehicle in to Duval Ford for my first 5000 mile oil change after purchasing my vehicle. I was very happy with the customer service when I I brought my vehicle in to Duval Ford for my first 5000 mile oil change after purchasing my vehicle. I was very happy with the customer service when I purchased the vehicle and I was expecting the same level of service from their Service Department. This was far from the case. I purchased the service agreement when I bought my vehicle so I thought this would also give me a better standing with the dealership. I brought my vehicle in at my appointment time. When I arrived I could not find anyone to assist me. Mind you this was my first time at this service department. When I finally located someone they said I am not the one to help you and pointed to a door. I made my way to the door and entered where there were several Service Department employees standing around talking. No one acknowledged me. I stood an waited for several minutes before anyone said anything to me . When I was acknowledged, the employee looked at me and said, "What do you need?". I was a bit taken back. I told him I just purchased the vehicle and I was there to get my first oil change. I also told him I purchased the service agreement so my service should be covered. He had no emotion and did not treat me with any level of proper customer service. I was highly deflated by this. He took me to the waiting room and said my vehicle should be read in 20 minutes. Again I had an appointment. After over an hour someone, not my service person, finally came and advised me my vehicle was ready. I was a bit upset to see that my vehicle had not been washed or vacuumed as I had never purchased a vehicle where this was not standard after service at the dealership. This was not as big of a deal as the oil/dirt smudge marks I noticed in my car after I left. I am highly disappointed with this experience and I wish I could cancel the service agreement I signed. This is not the level of service I am used too after purchasing a vehicle and I thought I would be a long-term customer after the positive experience I had with the Duval Ford sales staff. This experience has changed my mind to the point I am already thinking of trading in my car and going to another dealership. Poor Customer Service in the Duval Ford Service Department. More
