Big disappointment I was very happy when we were buying new car for my husband. The first dealer we went to was DuPage Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram located in Glendale Heigh I was very happy when we were buying new car for my husband. The first dealer we went to was DuPage Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram located in Glendale Heights. We saw one car, which we both like it. The salesman took us to Sales Manager Jerry Skiba. He told us that he would get us $5,000.00 discount for any car we will get from them plus money for the car we trade in. I should take this offer in writing from him. We were planning to go to different dealers to see more different cars, but after he told us about this offer we decided to get the car from this place. We decided to pay for this car cash. I contact my bank to get this money; they told me that I need 10 days to get this money. I called Jerry Skiba and ask him to save this car for us, he told me then that is not need for me to wait, that I can get the car now and get loan from Chrysler and pay the full amount within a month with out paying any interest. I received they payment bill 2 weeks later. I paid the whole amount of the car, but they send me another bill to pay more money. I called them and they told me that I have to pay interest. I called Jerry Skiba asking him why he told me that I will not have to pay the interest but now I have to pay more. I didn’t have to get the car right away; I could wait the 10 days and get it later. He starts yelling on me as a street vendor at the fair, he told me that he give the BEST deal to us, and more money for our old car than it was worth it. We check how much we can take for the old car and he did not give us more. Finally we get $4,000.00 including our old card. I must to pay extra money for interest, which I was told that I would not pay. Besides Jerry Skiba violated the corporate agreement of buying cars. I am UPS employee and retiree from United Airlines and I have the right to get discount on cars. Below is the deal from UPS site: “Get behind the wheel with a great deal.?UPS employees, retirees and their spouses can take advantage of the Chrysler Group Affiliate Rewards Program and drive away with the Preferred Price* (1% below factory invoice) on the purchase or lease of most new Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and FIAT vehicles. You’ll find that the Preferred Price — combined with current incentives† — can be up to thousands of dollars off the MSRP.**” The dealer should show me “copy of the vehicle invoice where the Preferred Price (PP) is clearly listed”. No one showed me copy of the invoice. Don’t go to this dealer, if you do, take offer in writing before you will buy anything. Jerry did everything to make us get car from this place, but nothing to keep his promises. Instead he was talking very unprofessional to me when I told him that he told us completely different thinks and end up with something else. He treated us like idiots who don’t know anything. He give me lesson not to trust sales people and take every word in writing. More

Daniel was my salesman and he did everything right regarding the sale. The dealership gave me top dollar for my trade and gave me a competitive price on the Jeep. NO HAGGLE.. I was so impressed that I referred someone and they worked with him so hard that he also purchased a Jeep Wrangler the following week. They also have a on site Wrangler lover like us (Donnie) . What a great bunch of guys to work with. More

I would give this place a negative rating if I could i was in Chicago to drop my daughter off at the airport when my Town and Country started to make a grinding noise. I was 4 hours away from home. They came out telling me that both wheel bearings were blown and the brake pads and rotors were dangerously bad and it would cost me $2000+ to fix it. I was in tears. They then tried to get me to trade it in. It was a 2012 and I had it for 5 months. I had a bad feeling so I started reading review on yelp and was appalled. They told me they wouldn't release it to me because it was unsafe to drive. I had to threaten to call the police to get them to give it back to me. He wouldn't stop. Tried to tell me the wheel was about to fall off and even tried to show me that it was loose. Haha it didn't even move. I drove it 3 miles down the road to Nefty's and it was just one wheel bearing that needed to be replaced. He just shook his head when I told him what was said. $360 and an hour later I was on my way home. All these people wanted to do was take advantage of a women who was stranded in an unfamiliar place. They should be ashamed of theirselves. More
They lie even if you have it in writing I communicated back and forth with Jr. Mercado for nearly three weeks. During this time, I told him that I understood that I was up-side-down on my c I communicated back and forth with Jr. Mercado for nearly three weeks. During this time, I told him that I understood that I was up-side-down on my current vehicle and that I was looking for a great deal if one could be made. I also told him what my pay-off was, that I was pre-approved for a loan, and that I needed to know the out-the-door price to get final approval from my credit union for a new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Finally, Mr. Mercado quoted me--in writing--an out-the-door price and asked for pics of my car to help the appraisal process. Based upon his number, I drove 4 hours from Indy ready to make the trade. When I arrived, however, I was told (not by Mr. Mercado because he never came out of his office to even say hello, let alone explain himself) that the out-the-door price did not include the pay-off of my car, and so, there was a significant gap from what I owed to what they were willing to pay for my car as a trade-in value even though he told me that he would give me $5k above blue book for my trade. I have traded cars in Miami, New Jersey, and Chicago. This is the only dealer in the last 20 years of buying cars that has flat-out lied to me (in writing no less) and made me travel four hours for nothing. Why would an "out-the-door price" not include a current car pay off? Why would you misunderstand this fact (even though I told you in numerous emails) and, then, ask me to email pics of my car to help the appraisal process? The reason is that they thought that I would not return the four hours to Indy without making a purchase. They were wrong; I walked and wasted a day. Be very careful with this dealer because even if they give you a price in writing, that does not mean that they will honor it. And, by the way, the "dealer discounts" advertised on their webste are not guaranteed even though I was led to believe, based upon the price quoted, that they would apply. I would never purchase a vehicle from this dealer no matter how good the alleged deal is because they epitomize the cliche of the shady car dealer. More

After wasting 1 hour looking and testing the car and promising that I will be satisfied with the price they will offer me and after finding out that the car had an accident in the past, they gave me the same one listed on the website with no other options. Bait and switch specialist I was on cars.com and inquired about a vehicle. I was told the price was 38500 and given an email with the price. When we showed up the salesman Luis I was on cars.com and inquired about a vehicle. I was told the price was 38500 and given an email with the price. When we showed up the salesman Luis told me there was no way they sell the vehicle at that price and came back with an offer of 44000. After negotiating with him his final offer was 41000. So we walked out and he never even tried to stop us. After a few phone calls that were never returned I finally spoke to a manager who said we can have it for the original price of 38500. We drive all the way back out and finally bought the car but only after refusing to use the original salesman that they were trying to Force us to use. Our new salesman Dan Youngblood was amazing and polite and did a great job. He was very knowledgeable and understood exactly what we needed and wanted. Oh yeah and this was after I was already pre approved by my credit union and didn't need anything except the bill of sales. More
